There is a contradiction between not wanting to be alone, craving for fellowship, but still not wanting to socialize with just anybody. The purpose with this paper is to inquire into individuals experiences of loneliness and of fellowship, as well as the tension between individual/ and social needs. The empirical material consists of five semistrucured interviews with a mix of individuals with one common factor; they were all frequently visited the meeting/place Nyfiket in Helsingborg during the summer 2011. The result were interpreted on the basis of E.Goffmans theory concerning the inevitable role-playing in everyday life, E.Fromms discussion about individuals ongoing espace towards- or away from things in life. Fetma bland barn är ett globalt växande problem och hälsokonsekvenserna av övervikt är de flesta medvetna om. I familjer med överviktiga barn har föräldrarna ett ansvar i att motivera till goda kostvanor och fysisk aktivitet för att skapa goda förutsättningar för en hälsosam vikt. För att vårdpersonal skall kunna hjälpa familjen till goda vanor behövs kunskap om hur föräldrarna upplever situationen och insatserna bör starta redan i tidig barndom eftersom behandlingen då är mer effektiv. Syftet är att belysa föräldrars erfarenheter av att ha överviktiga barn. För att kunna studera området ur olika perspektiv är litteraturstudiens analys baserad på primärkällor i form av publicerade kvalitativa och kvantitativa vetenskapliga artiklar.

Detta är en studie med en kvalitativ ansats som syftar till att undersöka bonusföräldrars behov av riktat stöd i föräldraskapet. Den ombildade familjen består av vuxna som har barn sedan tidigare och denna studie behandlar ombildade familjer där enbart en av de vuxna har barn sedan tidigare. Vidare läggs fokus på bonusförälderns upplevelse av att bli en del i en sådan familj. Studien har genomförts med hjälp av semistrukturerade intervjuer med sju bonusföräldrar. De intervjuade bonusföräldrarnas familjesituationer skilde sig åt på många sätt vilket ger en nyanserad bild av hur en bonusförälder kan uppleva sin situation.

Företags sociala ansvar och hållbarhetsarbete har under de senaste 50 åren debatterats inom företagsekonomin, en benämning som används är CSR, Corporate Social Responsibility. Som teoretiskt begrepp har det kritiserats för att sakna entydighet eller en klar definition och det har lett till att vad olika företag praktiskt implementerar kallas CSR fastän de aktiviteter som utförs kan vara av väldigt olika karaktär. Nyinstitutionell teori förklarar det med att specifika företag översätter teoretiska idéer inom sin egen kontext, och därav följer olikheterna. Ekonomerna Porter och Kramer myntade 2011 ett nytt begrepp kallat CSV, Creating Shared Value, med tanken att minska de problem som funnits inom CSR. CSV har till stor del baserats på företaget Nestlés arbete, dock har Nestlé själva inte kallat det för CSV tidigare.

Background/aims: Extensive studies have found an association between parent - adolescent relationships and adolescents' alcohol use. However, only a few studies have been carried out in Sweden. Also, few studies have focused on 17-19 year olds or binge drinking. The aim of this study is to examine whether there is an association between perceived parent - youth relationship and binge drinking among 17-19 year olds in Stockholm, Sweden. Theory: Social Development Model is a risk-focused prevention strategy which emphasizes the importance of social units, such as the family.

The tool willbe used internally by Faveo-employees as well asexternally together with Faveo?s clients in aneducational purpose.

Quality is a vague concept, it seems to be about a ?gut feeling? but is used as if it were a concrete property. This paper examines the defenition of the concept of quality, the relation between quality and gender equality and also what the representation between the genders in exhibitions, purchases and donations looks like in this day. As method for this paper text analysis, with searchlight on the two parameters of quality and equality, have been used on documents that provide a historical and a cultural policy perspective. The main part of the paper is an analysis of the visual arts on Värmlands museum, Kristinehamns konstmuseum and Rackstadmuseet.In the discussion of the paper, chapter 5, the result of the research is presented.

This bachelor?s degree thesis was conducted in mechanical engineering at Halmstad University during spring semester 2010 in close collaboration with the company Gremo AB, located in Ätran, Sweden. Gremo AB produces, developes and sales forest machines in both Sweden and on the international market.Gremo AB belongs to one of the market leaders in forest industry, especially with their forwarder. In order to become a market leader even with their harvester, the company decided to change the harvester to have a swivel and a leveling driver cabin.The aim with this bachelor?s degree thesis was to develop a design concept for the harvester driver cabin, which Gremo AB can apply on the new harvester.

The aim of this essay is to investigate whether the role of the teacher and the teaching in the classroom is affected when the Ipad is introduced in an one-to-one situation, and if so how these effects occur. Previous research show that the introduction of new technology in education offers hope of a more effective way of learning but that this at the same time leads to challenges for traditional ways of teaching and traditional views on knowledge (Säljö & Linderoth (red.) 2009, Erixon (red.) 2014).The method used is a qualitative interview in combination with observations used as a complement to the interviews. Four teachers working on an upper secondary school have been interviewed and one lesson in English taught as a foreign language and one lesson in social science have been observed.The results show that the use of Ipad changes how the teachers relate to and use the teaching material, as all material can be gathered in the Ipad and accessed at all times and can also be shared with the pupils. The Ipad also makes it easier for the teachers to offer pupils individual instructions which the teachers view as positive. In addition, the Ipad enables a change in regards to the pupils as they switch from being users to becoming producers in the use of the Ipad which in the teachers? opinions offers more profound ways of learning..

Entrepreneurship is considered essential for the Swedish economy, as well as globally. Accordingly,massive efforts are put into creating environments that successfully can support new ventures. The business incubator is a prominent part of these efforts and is important especially for the knowledge shared within its internal network. The aim of this study is to further explore how different activitieswithin the incubator can influence the interaction, and thereby the construction of social capital,among the incubatees. Using a qualitative case study of three incubators, and the framework of theincubator model, it is concluded that three distinguishing components within the framework influence the interaction, namely infrastructure, mediation and business support.

This Master?s thesis aims to map and analyse publishing patterns at two academic departments at the University of Gothenburg - the department of Physics and the department of History. The investigation has been guided by a set of questions: Who chooses to publish their scientific outcomes? In which forums do they publish findings? In what kind of media are the results published? What type of findings get to be published? The departments' publication lists have been examined, covering the years 2004-2007. Furthermore, ten scientists have been asked to describe factors contributing to their individual publishing pattern.

The purpose of this Bachelor?s thesis is to examine university librarians? perceptions of information literacy, of students? information literacy and of education in information literacy. The focus is on how they perceive the students? information literacy development during their university studies. Also of interest in this study is how librarians think that their teaching in information literacy should be included in the students? other courses. Three librarians at a Swedish university library were interviewed using qualitative interviews.

The purpous of this master?s thesis is to explore how the swedish public library evolved between 1890-1911, before the state implemented the library reform in 1912. The material used to cunduct the study concists mainly of texts published during the time frame of the thesis in the form of books, booklets and articles from Folkbiblioteksbladet, a journal dedicated to the subject of the swedish public library.Drawing upon Habermas theory of the structural transformation of the public sphere and Bourdieus theories about taste as social distinction and symbolic capital, the thesis seeks to show how the public participated in the evolvement of the public library and which aspects of society that contributed to the public library?s establishment as an institution. The findings are also discussed in relation to previous research of the history of the Swedish public library.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att få ökad kunskap och insikt om hur förskollärare tänker om föräldrasamverkan. Hur värderar de samarbetet, vilken betydelse har den och hur utformas den. Arbetet utgår från följande frågeställningar: Hur upplever och värderar förskollärare samarbetet med föräldrar på förskolan? Finns det faktorer som kan underlätta/ försvåra samarbetet med föräldrar? Vilka samarbetsformer kan föräldrasamverkan ta sig uttryck i?För att besvara mina frågeställningar har jag gjort kvalitativa intervjuer med fem förskollärare på olika förskolor i två medelstora kommuner.Mitt resultat visar att föräldrasamverkan är viktig och värderas som något man inte kan vara utan. Det är främst barnet som vinner på ett fungerande föräldrasamarbete, då det bidrar till barnets trygghet och utveckling.

This is a comparative study of the use of intranet in three organizations. The organizations are one help organization, one hospital and one business company. The intranet is a relatively new medium and it might still not have been accepted by all potential users, which is a waste of resources both for the individual employee and for the overall organization. It is therefore necessary to investigate if there are any differences between organizations concerning the needs of intranets. Our purpose with this study was to deepen the understanding of the use of intranets as a channel of organizational communication and thereby acknowledge the users´ needs and opinions of the intranet.
