BAKGRUND: Afasi är en komplikation efter stroke som kan drabba människor i allaåldrar men främst i hög ålder. Afasin finns av olika typer och har många olikasvårighetsgrader detta beror på vilken del av hjärnan som skadas. Vid lindrig afasi kanskadan läka eftersom hjärnan kan återfå sin funktion. En annan typ av afasi genererar i merallvarliga komplikationer där patienterna förlorar det mesta av språket. När den verbalakommunikationen försvinner är det viktigt att sjuksköterskor ser till den icke-verbalakommunikationen istället, där kroppsspråk, tonfall samt ansiktsuttryck är viktiga delar.SYFTE: Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt var att belysa kommunikationen mellanpatienter med afasi och sjuksköterskor ur både ett patientperspektiv och ettsjuksköterskeperspektiv.METOD: Litteraturöversikt Femton artiklar från tidigare forskning med kvalitativ ochkvantitativ ansats har inkluderats och analyserats.RESULTAT: Resultatet visar på fem områden av kommunikation icke-verbalkommunikation, brister vid kommunikation, samspel vid kommunikation, stöd vidkommunikation och omgivningens påverkan på kommunikation.DISKUSSION: Patienter med afasi upplever att sjuksköterskor saknar kunskap omkommunikation och vill ha mer stöd.

Att drabbas av afasi kan innebära att en högst mänsklig förmåga går förlorad, vilket kan begränsa patientens kommunikationsmöjligheter. Därmed ställs högre krav på den icke verbala kommunikationen. Vårdpersonal beskriver svårigheter att skapa förståelse i denna form av kommunikation. Till följd av detta blir samspelet lidande och omvårdnaden kan därför inte anpassas till den unika människan. Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt är att belysa och sammanställa befintlig forskning, som beskriver hur olika icke verbala kommunikationsvägar integreras, i omvårdnaden till patienter som drabbats av stroke med afasi som följd.

Omgivningen kan utgöra en stor skillnad för hur personen med afasi lyckas interagera med hjälp av olika slags stöd, t ex med skrivet material som förstärkning till samtalsinnehållet. Aura Kagan har inom ramen för samtalsmodellen SCA (Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia) utformat ett bedömningsmaterial för konversationsförmåga hos personer med afasi och deras konversationspartners. Detta bedömningsmaterial har i den här studien använts som utgångspunkt för utformningen av ett svenskt bedömningsmaterial för konversationsförmåga som är ämnat att användas vid vårdinrättningar som rehabiliterar personer med afasi. Sex logopeder använde det framtagna materialet för att bedöma konversationsförmågan dels hos tio personer med varierande karaktär och svårighetsgrad av afasi, dels hos deras konversationspartners.

The aim of this study was to acquire knowledge about the working conditions of people's gainful employment. The research was conducted at one of the regional social insurance offices of Malmö with participation of ten of their employees. The research method of choice was a phenomenological approach. One open question about the working situation was answered freely. The results indicate a rather severe discontent about the workplace.

There is a clear difference between the way football players and leaders regard the role of the referee, compared to the way the refereeing body looks at it. The refereeing body regard themselves as fundamental for the existence of the sport, while the other mentioned parties merely see them as functional justice makers. This view places the referees outside the field of football. This establishes a football culture, which is conflicted when it comes to the role of the referees on the field. The conflict comes to its edge in youth football, where the referees are under severe pressure.

Laminitis is a common but devastating condition, and affected horses are often euthanized or influenced a very long time. Many horses never return to their original capacity. Laminitis is often associated with severe pain and a long time of convalescence. Symthoms includes lameness, hoof hyperthermia, strenghthened digital pulse and pain. The horse often tries to move the body weight away from the forelegs which are often more severly affected than the hindlimbs.

In this thesis I will propose and test a pipeline for creating in-game animations using motion capture technology, with the aim to export to a 3D game engine, such as UDK or similar. Even though there are already established pipelines for creating in-game animations in the game industry, they are not of public knowledge and dissemination of information is hindered by the severe NDA (non-disclosure agreements) imposed on the studios and artists. I will therefore use my experience with game production and as a student, to research and propose an optimal pipeline for developing in-game animation that may be used by other students, researchers and independent game developers. The methodology used to test the pipeline will be a case study based on the student project Synergy, which I am developing with other third year students also attending the Game design Education at Gotland University..

In Sweden everyone has the possibility to report deficiencies in animal welfare they encounter. They report this to the county administration in their county and such a report is called a complaint case. Complaint cases are normally handled with animal welfare inspections, carried out by animal welfare inspectors from the county administration in the county where the animal keeper with reported deficiencies lives. The county administrations in Sweden receive a lot of complaint cases that differ in grade of how severe the deficiency is. The complaint cases are given priority by how severe the deficiency seems to be.

The study explores collective action in Sweden between 1980 to 1995 using time-series data from the European Protest and Coercion Database. In spite of severe hardship during the crisis of the early 1990s, Swedish strike-rates declined. However, contention merely shifted from workplaces into the streets; there was indeed a protest movement against austerity, as shown by a series of large demonstrations, and some riots, between 1989 and 1993. Further analysis indicates this movement faded as it was increasingly chanelled into the electoral campaign of the labor pary; having won the 1994 election, the organised labor movement no longer had an interest in sustaining the protest movement against austerity..

Living with this disease means being exposed to severe strain and every day could bring new losses. Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis does not cause any harm to the intellect, the mind remains unaffected. The aim of this study was to achieve an understanding, and to shed light on the nature of positive life experiences of people living with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This literature study is based on detailed examination of three person's narrations taken from their autobiography and biographies.

The purpose of our essay is to examine if variation exists in the way that auditors try their independence, this so called analysis-model. We will suggest some factors that influence the way auditors practise the analysis-model. The institutional theory predicts no differencies since the normative pressure could be expected to be severe. But we found that among other things people?s qualifications, personalities and audit firm?s size and age influence the way auditors try their independence.

Death can be seen as a sensitive subject and can by that be difficult for many people to talk about. Working as a nurse can imply caring for severe ill and dying patients, which can be regarded as a task that makes great demands. The aim of the present literature review is to illustrate nurses' experiences of problems in association with the care of dying patients to be aware of these. Nine scientific articles were analysed and the result showed that the problems the nurses experienced could be related to four different categories: problems related to organisa-tion/resources, to the nurse herself, to the patient and to family members. The literature review also illustrates consequences of these problems for nurses, and which components that could simplify the nursing care of dying patients..

Många människor i alla åldrar insjuknar varje år i cancer. I Sverige insjuknar mer än 7000 personer i åldrarna 20-54 år. I denna åldersgrupp är det många som har barn. Dessa barn kan ha blandade upplevelser och reaktioner på sin förälders sjukdom, vilket kan vara av vikt för sjuksköterskan att känna till, för att kunna ge dessa barn ett bra stöd. Syfte: Syftet var att beskriva barns upplevelser och coping-mekanismer av att leva med en förälder som har cancer.
