Att implementera Service Oriented Architecture kostnadseffektivt

I enighet med teknikutvecklingen förändras även förutsättningarna för kostnadseffektiva IT-miljöer. Systemarkitekturen för mjukvarusystem förändras i samband med detta och verksamhetens systemdesign måste följa denna utveckling för att vara konkurrenskraftig på IT-marknaden. Implementeringar av Service Oriented Architecture, förkortat SOA, har i många fall visat sig vara lönsamma investeringar till en modernare arkitektur. Denna rapport förklarar på vilka sätt SOA kan vara kostnadseffektivt för verksamheter, samt identifierar kritiska framgångsfaktorer som är avgörande vid systemskiften till SOA. I kombination av en teoretisk litteraturstudie, analys av publicerade företagsfall och empirisk undersökning visar sig SOA-baserade lösningar vara kostnadseffektiva genom sänkta kostnader, tidsbesparingar och snabbare produktutveckling. Vägen mot den Svenska vardagen : En utvärderingsstudie om kommunpolitikers, Arbetsförmedlingens och Invandrarservice uppfattningar kring implementeringen av Etableringslagen

This essay is an evaluation of the act of establishment (2010:197). The act is about different operators' responsibility and accountability for new arrivals to get a more effective integration into society and to speed up the new arrivals' establishment on the labor market. The purpose of this act is to get more new arrivals involved in the Swedish labor market directly. By doing so, it gives these people a possibility to become self-sufficient. This study has focus in four different operators; Employment service, Immigration service and two local politicians from Social democrats (Socialdemokraterna) and Conservatives (Moderaterna).

The Co-Creative Network

The purpose of this thesis is to explore the co-creation process and how value is created based on a service orientation using a network perspective. The thesis is studied from a social-constructionist philosophy, using a qualitative approach of data collection and the theoretical framework includes network theories, theories of service-orientation and co-creation. We have conducted semi-structured interviews with a small firm and its network, which consists of a customer, a supplier and a partner. We found that Håkansson?s ARA framework combined with Ballantyne and Varey?s triangulation of value-creating activities help to acquire an understanding of the actors? bonds, the resources? ties and the activity links that exist in a network.

Hur folkbibliotekarier i några mindre svenska kommuner upplever sin yrkesroll

The aim of this study is to examine how public librarians in small Swedish municipalities experience their professional roles. As part of examining such an abstract subject as experiences we also examine what tasks they perform, which will function as a support of the analysis. The theoretical frame-work is based on librarian identities worked out by Anders Ørom and a model of professional roles worked out by Maj Klasson. The analytical procedure consists of both deductive and inductive viewpoints. The empirical material consists of qualitative semi-structured interviews with five librarians that work in public libraries located in municipalities with less than 12 500 inhabitants.

Äldreomsorgens psykosociala arbetsmiljö : en studie av undersköterskor och vårdbiträden som arbetar med äldre på särskilda boenden

The purpose of this study was to find out how caregivers experienced their psychosocial work environment at three municipal homes for old people. The Copenhagen Psychosocial Questionnaire (COPSOQ) was used in order to study different dimensions of the work environment, and questions about health, sickness presence and sick leave were included. The questionnaire was answered by 86 out of 112 participating caregivers (77%). The results showed that the caregivers experienced high demands at work. The degree of feedback and influence at work was low, but they reported that their work was highly meaningful and that they usually received social support at work.

I integrationspolitikens utkant : Invandrarorganisationers deltagande i det svenska Equalprogrammet

The aim of this study was to describe and analyze the participation of immigrant organizations to the partnerships in the Equal program in Sweden. The focus of the study was on the significance of the participation for the organizations and its impact on them. The point of view of the participant organizations has been object of study through interviews with the persons who, on behalf of the organizations, have been in charge for the work with Equal. Interviews have been conducted with people representing 10 of the 21 immigrant organizations that have been identified among the Swedish Equal partners. Many organizations have experienced that the participation has strengthen the awareness of target groups about their needs and their possibilities.

Utborgaren -en studie om SVT:s roll för den sociala sammanhållningen i en svensk demokrati

Sveriges Television kallar sig en TV i allmänhetens tjänst och har en erkänd roll som viktig aktör i den svenska demokratin. I sin roll som public service-företag har SVT en mängd uppgifter att fylla genom sitt programutbud. Public service uppgifter som alla tillsammans skall främja ett demokratiskt samhälle. I takt med att medielandskapet och samhället har förändrats så står SVT:s ar-bete med dessa uppgifter och mål inför nya utmaningar. Vi har i denna upp-sats anammat teorin om att TV-utbudet för public service idag börjat efterlikna de mer nöjesanpassade TV-kanalerna i fråga om programutbud.

Alkohol inom äldreomsorgen : Hur hanteras problematiken?

The purpose of our qualitative study is to investigate how the caretakers, in the elderly care,interpret and manage the issue of alcohol problems in elderly people. We have beenperforming semi-structured interviews on 9 people, on different levels in the elderly care.There were 3 elderly care managers, 1 nurse, 1 assistance administrator and 4 auxiliarynurses, who all, at some level, work with alcohol problems in elderly people. Thoseinterviews were performed singularly, with one exception: we interviewed an elderly caremanager and her 2 auxiliary nurses at the same time. To analyse our empirics, we have usedthe theories of Power and Ageism. Our study shows that the auxiliary nurses, who are theones who must deal with these problems, have great difficulties to perform their work becausethey have no qualified knowledge about alcohol problems.

Möjligtvis stressad? En kvalitativ studie om stress på ekonomiskt bistånd, en enhet på Socialtjänsten

The purpose of this study was to examine and illustrate whether employed social workers, working with supplementary benefits at a social service office, felt stressed. If so was the case, we wanted to investigate if this stress that they felt had any effect on their clients. This study was based on eight qualitative interviews, of which four was with social workers and four was with clients. For a better understanding of our results we used Karasek & Theorells demand-control-support model.The study reveals that the social workers do feel stressed, but they only do so in periods. They declare that they would like to have more time for their work assignments, the meetings with the clients in particulate.

Hörs det bra där bak? : - en kvalitativ studie om den interna kommunikationens utmaningar och vinster hos företag inom service- och tjänstesektorn.

 Frågeformulering: Vilka utmaningar och vinster kan intern kommunikation generera för företag inom service- och tjänstesektorn?Syfte: Huvudsyftet med vår uppsats är att studera och utveckla en förståelse för hur den interna kommunikationen används i praktiken hos företag inom service- och tjänstesektorn.Vårt delsyfte är att upptäcka aspekter som är viktiga att ta i beaktning vid implementering och användandet av intern kommunikation.Metodansats: Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ forskningsmetod och genomfört intervjuer med respondenter som representerat fem olika företag verksamma inom service- och tjänstesektorn.Slutsatser: Resultatet i denna studie har visat på en medvetenhet bland Respondenterna om den interna kommunikationens effekter. En av de främsta utmaningar som visat sig bland samtliga Respondenter är att lyckas nå ut till alla mottagare inom organisationen. Vi har kommit fram till att riktade meddelanden når mottagaren på bästa sätt men att det upplevs svårt att utforma och rikta informationen. Lyckas ledningen med de utmaningar den interna kommunikationen medför kan det genera flera vinster.

Göra själv eller inte : Service på nya premisser

Service, i form av tjänster, har i vårt samhälle vuxit sig till en stor och naturlig del av vår vardag. Utvecklingen går nu mot att kunderna får allt större ansvar över service-processen, vilket slutligen resulterar i vad som kallas självservice. Forskningen kring självservice har i huvudsak varit ur ett managementperspektiv och dessutom inriktad mot teknik-baserad självservice. Denna uppsats avser att komplettera befintlig forskning med dels ett kundperspektiv och dels en inriktning mot icke teknikbaserad självservice. Den frågeställning som vi arbetat efter är: Hur resonerar kunden kring sin roll i serviceprocessen? Uppsatsen är avgränsad till att gälla hyresgästers uppfattningar av ett självservicesystem som kallas för VLU, som innebär att hyresgästen får det övergripande ansvaret för lägenhetsunderhåll.

Ledarens förmåga att påverka och främja medarbetarnas arbetsmotivation - En kvalitativ studie om hur arbetsmotivation främjas inom en statlig myndighet

The study aims to increase understanding and knowledge of motivation; this by examining how the leader experiences her capability to promote employees' work motivation. Also, how employees perceive that the leader influence and enhance their work motivation. Interviews were conducted with a manager and two employees of a government agency in Sweden. The results demonstrate different opinions between manager and employees in the manager's ability to foster motivation in the everyday work. The leader thinks that she promotes her employees work positively and believes that she is giving her employees attention and appreciation.

Samverkan mellan socialtjänst och polis, när ett barn misstänks för ett brott : - En kvalitativ studie, ur ett myndighetsperspektiv

The purpose of our study is to see how the interaction between the social services and police work when a child under 15 years is suspected of crimes.What happens to the child from an agency perspective? How is the experience for the child and how do they get their voices heard? How is the professional perspective for a child when a child is suspected of a crime? What do the various authorities for short-term and long-term measures for the child?We have chosen to do a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews. The study includes six interviews with two police officers, three field secretaries and a social worker in two different municipalities. A medium sized municipality, and a larger community.The people we interviewed think differently about collaboration. The municipality have different workforms.

Produktivitetsmodellen : Hur kan detaljhandelsbutiker arbeta med produktivitet och lönsamhet med hjälp av denna modell

The store manager can make great benefits of having an eye on how the staff works towards the customer, because the personnel is an important tool when competing with other stores. This paper is focusing on the part that relates to the staff in the store, which is one of the key tools in the competition for customers after the customer made it to the store. Many stores have guidelines which the staff should follow when they meet with customers. If the staff is too tightly controlled by these guidelines, customers can perceive the first encounter with the staff as artificial and as if the genuine friendliness does not exist. It is important that the staff looks at the individual customer and treat every customer in a personal way and that the staff can see the customer?s needs.

Från Taylorism till Salutogenes : En studie inom svensk äldreomsorg

A publicly funded elderly care that is widely available at people?s homes has been described as unique for the Nordic countries. There is much research that focuses on the relationship between caregivers and care receivers, and also about how work is organized in these organizations. However, research into how care work is organized in organizations that have implemented a salutogenic approach is limited. This is a qualitative study aimed to examine how caregivers feel that the organization of work in elderly care change after implementation of salutogenic elements in their daily work.
