Through the different stages of life people have different requirements for their homes. The requirements changes depending on people?s life situation, lifestyleand age. Depending on where people are in life they live in different place, often in areas with other people who are in the same stage of life. In Sweden, this separation has always been noticeable, sometimes more than other.

Föreliggande uppsats utgår från ett potentiellt problem för Försvarsmakten att i det nyligen införda tvåbefälssystemet omhänderta den högskolemässigt utbildade officeren som sannolikt generellt innehar en högre utbildningsnivå och mer uttalad karriärambition än de äldre yrkesofficerarna från det tidigare enbefälssystemet NBO.Uppsatsens syfte är att tydliggöra vilka förutsättningar på arbetsplatsen som gäller för tvåbefälsystemets högskolemässigt utbildade officerare vid officersprogrammet ur ett anställningsbarhetsperspektiv. Anställningsbarhetsbegreppet kommer att utgöra det redskap som jag applicerar på det avgränsade empiriska materialet för att se vilka förutsättningar, som gäller på arbetsplatsen i jämförelse med kraven i examensbeskrivningen för de högskolemässigt utbildade officerarna då de tagit examen sommaren 2010. Är de anställningsbara? Genom en dokumentgranskning tolkas och jämförs de dokument som ligger till grund för officersutbildningen och de strategiska styrdokument som definierar Försvarsmaktens verksamhet.Resultatet visar utifrån ett anställningsbarhetsperspektiv att Försvarsmaktens dokument och officersprogrammets utbildningsplan samt examensbeskrivning i stort sett stämmer väl överens vilket borgar för en hög anställningsbarhet hos officeren..

The argument whether women should drink alcohol during pregnancy, has been debated for centuries. Women's drinking behaviour throughout the ages is not a static phenomenon but has changed in compliance with the customs of the time. The purpose of this study was not to evaluate if alcohol damages the unborn child, but rather to explore how women, who have just given birth and hence have become mothers, looked at alcohol in relation to pregnancy and motherhood. To accomplish this we have used a qualitative method with a semi-structured interview guide. What has turned out to be central to our conclusions is the fact that though, in today's society, there is access to newly produced science reports concerning alcohol in connection to injuries to the foetus, it is our belief that the demands and expectations directed on the mother are dominant in this matter..

The aim of this study is to describe and analyse the cooperation between the public employment service and the refugee reception in a medium-sized municipality in southern Sweden on basis of the establishment reform. The study examines how the collaborative process is regarded when it comes to implementation of the reform, and when it comes to the directives and resource allocation between the employment services and the refugee reception. The study also focuses on the deficiencies and the benefits that can be discerned with the establishment reform at local level.A qualitative data collection method has been used. It is semi-structured interviews with workers from the public employment service and the refugee reception. Information materials and evaluations that various authorities have made have also been investigated.The study concludes that it is important that the directives are clarified and that a new local and regional agreement will be established on paper.

The main purpose of this Master thesis is to illuminate the understanding of local politicians regarding the public libraries and the librarians. We argue that the local politicians´ opinions regarding public libraries and librarians influence the way they act and react in their roles as politicians.In order to achieve the aim of this thesis we focused on following questions:What are the opinions of the politicians:- regarding themselves in relation to the public library?- concerning public libraries in general and its functions especially in the municipalities of their own?- concerning the librarians and their work in a public function?What are the conclusions to be drawn regarding the politicians´ interest and commitment to public libraries in the politic daily-life of the municipalities? Our empiric material consists of qualitative interviews with six politicians elected in two municipalities in the interior of Västerbotten, a northern sparsely populated district. In order to distinguish the various opinions that emerge from the material, we apply a phenomenographic approach. The analysis result we present in three conceivable categories in order to express the different opinions.In general our study points at a positive and favourable attitude to the public library, and all the respondents assume that the municipality ought to offer this service.

The aim of this study has been to highlight how school social workers experience their discretion, and furthermore how they feel about working in a context mainly dedicated to teachers. The study is executed with a qualitative research method where ten interviews with school social workers, in eight schools in the area of Stockholm have been conducted. The theoretical framework used to analyze the results was discretion, street-level bureaucracy and human service organizations.The main findings of this study imply that the most important ambition of the social work that was conducted in the schools was to help the students reach their knowledge goals. The assignment is, however, not clearly defined, which has lead to school social workers defining the mission and goals themselves. They all have wide discretion and great possibilities to decide how to execute their work, but how they use the freedom that was given seems to vary among them.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine which role public libraries play or could play within bibliotherapy. The study is based on qualitative interviews with five librarians who, in one way or another have experienced bibliotherapy activities. Further, we have interviewed two treatment assistants and one counsellor, who have cooperated with the librarians, to get their view. We have used the following research questions: Which bibliotherapeutic activities, if any, are pursued in public libraries in Sweden, and how do they look upon bibliotherapy? What role do public libraries play/could play within bibliotherapy? Ever since the term bibliotherapy was coined in the beginning of the twentieth century, the definition has been under debate. We have identified four main subjects of discussion.

Denna rapport behandlar utvecklingen av den spelmotor samt spellogik som används i speletSteam Tale utvecklat under projektnamnet Project Steam Age av gruppen StormBound. Speletutvecklades i första hand för mobila enheter, och i rapporten ingår även en kort undersökningav mobila spel i ett historiskt perspektiv. Även spelets genre, JRPG, en förkortning avJapanese Role Playing Game, kommer att förklaras som hastigast med referenser till andraspel inom genren.Spelet programmerades för Android OS version 2.3 och framåt i språket Java. Intimate partner violence (IPV) is a recognized social problem. The IPV is common in all types of intimate relations, this essays purpose was focused on the violence performed by women against men. To find the social workers conceptions the study conducted a survey sent to local social service in Sweden. The essay had a statistic approach to visualize the social workers conceptions, and a discursive approach to focus on the language used in text answers. Different aspects of the violence were explored to find the conceptions.

In Sweden, selection for leanness in pigs has been going on for almost a century. This sometimes results in gilts and sows being too lean and consequently in a risk for reduced reproduction and health status. The Swedish recommendation includes that gilts should be mated after seven months of age, after one documented oestrus, at 120-140kg live weight and with a backfat thickness of 16-20mm. Five gilt producing herds were visited and records of age, heart girth (for weight estimation), body condition (visual estimation), backfat thickness and exterior were made. The same records were also taken in four gilt buying herds on newly purchased gilts.

This study examinates technology's traumatic impact on the male subject in The Atrocity Exhibition by J.G. Ballard. In my analysis I show how the protagonist uses a fetischistic strategy in order to make sense of the trauma that technology embeds. Paradoxically it proves to be the agent of his trauma, but also functions as his shield. Syftet med undersökningen är att arbeta fram en modell för hur företag bör arbeta innan, under och efter en kris för att bevara sitt varumärke. Studien baseras på en kvalitativ undersökning där primärdata insamlats via intervjuer med sex experter inom området kriskommunikation. Ett abduktivt tillvägagångssätt har används då fokus växlat mellan empiri och teori, men där största fokus legat på empirin. Teorin har insamlats via litteraturstudie där vetenskapliga artiklar hämtats från olika databaser, såsom google scholar och ABI/inform. Slutsatsen genererar i ett verktyg i form av en modell som ger riktlinjer på hur företag kan arbeta innan en kris för att förebygga och förbereda. Den visar även på hur företag arbetar under en kris för att minimera skadan av den samt hur de på bästa sätt kan återhämta sig från den.

Abstract One of the essential conditions of the co-operating within the EU is that homogeneous conditions of competition prevail within the entire common market. The competition policy in the EU should guarantee that the competition is not distorted in a way that would prevent or create difficulties for the free mobility of goods and services between the member countries. The policy of competition should also guarantee that no new protectionistic obstacles will be formed, regardless of if it is being done by actions taken by member countries or as a result of actions taken by companies in order to set limits to the competition. Companies putting to an abuse their dominant position on the common market, or on a substantial part of it, is irreconcilable with the idea of the common market in case it could interfere with the trading between member countries, and is thus prohibited. The purpose of this dissertation is to describe the collective dominance from the view of the commission's interpretation of the practice of article 82 in the EG - treaty.
