Type 2 diabetes is a growing disease in the population which includes that older people are a risk group. With the disease grows even cost?s. A lifestyle change is a major part of the treatment for type 2 diabetes. There are several factors that suggest positive effects on prevention among the elderly where, among other things, economic and health benefits are presented.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka specialpedagogers och klasslärares uppfattningar av elevhälsans uppdrag och funktion i skolan. Syftet är framförallt att belysa uppfattningarna av det hälsofrämjande och förebyggande arbetet. Vi har utgått från en kvalitativ metod och har en fenomenografisk ansats. I vår studie innebär det att vi har använt oss av semistrukturerad intervjuform, då vi vill få fram specialpedagogers och klasslärares uppfattningar av fenomenet elevhälsan. I analysen av vårt empiriska material har vi använt oss av ramfaktorteoretiskt perspektiv och Antonovskys teori om KASAM.

AimThe aim of this study has been to examine how health enhancement teachers in Montana, USA, view the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.In what way does the health enhancement teacher think the importance of physical activity from a lifelong perspective could be presented?What resources are available for teachers to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective?MethodThe issue has been answered through qualitative interviews consisting of six health enhancement teachers, four women and two men, in Montana, USA. One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years).  ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. In addition to the budget, all the teachers had 12 hours of professional development every year where they could attend conferences or their own choice of professional development.ConclusionWith the help in forms of professional development offered by the school, conferences, meeting with other teachers, and their own choice of development, the teachers instruction techniques could increase which could help the teachers to find the pupils? interest for different kinds of physical activities.KeywordsPhysical education and health, physical activity, SOC, sense of coherence..

Kommunala parkarbetare är en ?tyst? yrkesgrupp vars arbetssituation och framtida utvecklingsmöjligheter sällan uppmärksammas eller diskuteras i kommunala arbetsgivarsammanhang. Det finns ett brett forskningsfält som intresserar sig för arbetsförhållanden inom serviceyrken som i olika hög utsträckning kan jämföras med parkarbetaryrket. Någon forskning där parkarbetares specifika arbetssituation belyses har däremot inte gått att finna. Detta gör föreliggande undersökning mer angelägen.Uppsatsens syfte är att undersöka vad det innebar att arbeta som parkarbetare inom en kommunal teknikförvaltning med utgångspunkt i de medverkandes känsla av sammanhang (KASAM) i arbetet.

För många är arbetet den mest centrala delen ilivet där de flesta av dygnets vakna timmar spenderas. Studiens syfte var attundersöka yrkesstolthet och identifikation med arbetet. Enligt KASAM- teorin, känslaav sammanhang, är meningsfullhet en viktig komponent för individens yrkesstolthet.Åtta individuella kvalitativa intervjuer genomfördes med åtta deltagare iåldrarna 40 till 65 år med varierande yrken. Ett heterogent urval användes föratt få en så stor variation som möjligt. Resultaten visade att den viktigastekomponenten för yrkesstolthet var upplevelsen av att få göra gott i mötet medandra människor samt att arbetet känns meningsfullt.

Syftet med följande arbete var att undersöka hur de gymnasieelever som erhållit plats vid PRIV, programinriktat individuellt val, upplevde sin studiesituation. Vad de upplevde som positivt respektive negativt och hur de upplevde att ha en annan studieplan än sina klasskamrater. Elva elever på olika nationella program på två olika gymnasieskolor har intervjuats och gett sin syn på PRIV. Elevernas erfarenheter och upplevelser har kategoriserats, analyserats och jämförts. Resultatet visade att samtliga elever upplevde sig som privilegierade över att erhållit en plats vid PRIV. De upplevde mening och sammanhang med sina studier.

Syftet med studien är att undersöka och beskriva vilka uppfattningar förskolepedagoger och specialpedagoger har beträffande samverkansgruppens betydelse för arbetet i förskolan och för det vidare samarbetet med andra berörda verksamheter i arbetet kring barn till föräldrar med psykisk ohälsa, samt hur de i detta sammanhang ser på användandet av den specialpedagogiska kompetensen.För att se barnet i dess totala sammanhang, helhetsperspektivet har jag i min studie valt att utgå från Bronfenbrenners systemteori och Anonovskys KASAM-teori. Resultatet visar att förskolepedagoger och specialpedagoger anser att samverkan har stor betydelse för det fortsatta arbetet när det gäller barn till föräldrar med psykisk ohälsa. Dessutom visar resultatet att förskolepedagogerna har ett uttalat behov av den specialpedagogiska kompetensen i form av mer stöd och handledning..

Uppsatsens syfte är att pröva tesen att Radiosportens sändningar har blivit mer jämställda mellan 1995 och 2007. Det som undersökts är utrymmet som kvinnor och kvinnligt idrottsutövande får i sändningarna i förhållande till män och manligt idrottsutövande. Metoden att besvara frågan är kvantitativ. Radierade sekunder har räknats och fördelats mellan kategorierna kvinnliga och manliga röster och kvinnligt och manligt idrottsutövande. Kriterierna för jämställdhet är att de kvinnliga rösterna är proportionerligt representerade och att kvinnligt idrottsutövande får ett proportionerligt utrymme i Radiosportens sändningar. Undersökningens resultat visar att Radiosporten har blivit mer jämställd under  undersökningsperioden, men att det inte går att säga att ökningen är stabil från år till år. Resultaten visar också att kvinnor och kvinnligt idrottsutövande inte får utrymme i nivå med andelen kvinnor eller omfattningen av kvinnligt idrottsutövande generellt..

Background: Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) includes Crohn´s disease (CD) and ulcerative colitis (UK). The diseases are chronic and have a pattern of relapses interspersed with relatively symptom-free periods. Common symptoms during relapse are diarrhea, abdominal pain and weight loss. Since you have IBD for life it is important to find ways to relate to and cope with the disease. In that process a nurse can be of great help.Aim: The purpose of this literature review was to increase the understanding of how adult patients with inflammatory bowel disease experience their daily lives.  Method: The method used was a literature review.

I denna c-uppsats har vi eftersträvat en förståelse kring vilka omständigheter som hjälper kvinnor utsatta för människohandel för sexuella ändamål att gå vidare och bygga upp ett nytt liv. För att nå denna förståelse har en kvalitativ intervjustudie genomförts där personer som hjälper dessa kvinnor har delat med sig av sina erfarenheter och kunskaper. Utifrån deras uttalanden har det i analysen gått att urskilja fem teman som beskriver de hjälpande omständigheterna. Dessa teman beskriver bland annat hur kvinnorna tar sig ifrån sina människohandlare med hjälp av andra, hur de beskrivs som starka överlevare, hur kvinnorna behöver tid, uppmuntran och få ordning på praktiska bitar samt hur nätverk och en framtidstro kan ge dem styrka. Dessa omständigheter, som framkom hjälpa kvinnorna att bygga upp ett nytt liv, tolkades sedan utifrån den salutogenetiska modellen med fokus på generella motståndsresurser samt en känsla av sammanhang.

This study focuses on the use of animals in social work from the perspective of social workers. The purpose of this study is to examine social workers? experiences of animal assisted social work and how social workers view the integration of animals in various fields of social work. The research is based on a qualitative method and four semi-structured interviews were conducted with social workers. The theories incorporated in the study are Attachment Theory and Sense of Coherence (SOC).The following results are presented: Social workers are considered to have a more comprehensive understanding of clients compared to their associates who do not hold a degree in Social Work.
