Nära men ändå så långt bort : En studie om kommunikations- och ledarskapsproblem utifrån olika dimensioner av distans
Under årens lopp har forskare gradvis introducerat distans som en variabel för att analysera organisatoriska fenomen. De flesta studier fokuserar på att studera distans utifrån ett fysiskt avstånd, vilket ger en ofullständig bild av hur människor faktiskt upplever distans. Under 2000-talet har forskningen kring distans vidareutvecklats och forskare föreslår att distans bör studeras utifrån olika dimensioner, så somstrukturell-, statusbaserad- och psykologisk distans. Då få eller inga studier har undersökt hur eventuella kommunikations- och ledarskapsproblem inom en organisation kan beskrivas utifrån olika dimensioner av distans, ämnar vi att genom en explorativ studie utforska detta. Denna explorativa studie har genomförts genom kvalitativa semi-strukturerade intervjuer med nio medarbetare på ett större svenskt företag.
När skuldfällan slog igen: upplevelser av överskuldsättning och ekonomisk rådgivning
The purpose of this study was to examine how people experience being in debt, what they consider was the reason for being in debt and how they experienced economic counselling. The empirical data was based on five semi-structured interviews with people having experiences from being in debt and experiences of economic counselling. The data was analysed by using theoretical perspectives from a model called economic-shame created by Bengt Starrin. The model shows how being in debt and the feelings of shame influence health. The conclusion shows that the reasons for being in debt often is due to several sudden and tragic events happening at the same time or due to each other.

Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) is a genre of computerized systems which allows system development corporations to efficiently and more easily manage, maintain and handle the applications lifecycle. These ALM systems have a wide variety of tools which can be integrated to enable and support collaborative work, while they act at the core of the organisation. Todays ALM systems support flexible system development methods throughout the entire development process. This paper focuses on a case-study of a Swedish business- and technology corporation and their use of two ALM systems with an aim to unravel the differences between these systems and their functionality to serve as a basis for decision making regarding their utilization of best practice with their ALM-Systems. Meanwhile we studied their approach to ALM systems to see if they were using them according to the initial idea of ALM systems.
Att studera med ett osynligt funktionshinder: En kvalitativ studie om dyslexi och framtidssyn
I dagens informationssamhälle råder ett samhälleligt krav på att samtliga individer förstår och kan uttrycka sig i skrift. Detta krav leder till att funktionshindret dyslexi och dess problematik blir allt mer tydligt. Trots detta väljer allt fler med en dyslexidiagnos att studera vidare på universitetsnivå. Detta examens arbete har till syfte att undersöka hur studenter med dyslexidiagnos upplever sin dyslexi idag samt vilken påverkan dyslexin har på framtiden, inför kommande yrkesliv, samt hur dessa personer ser på framtiden i sin helhet. En kvalitativ metod användes där 11 studenter med dyslexidiagnos deltog i semi-strukturerade intervjuer.
Raka rör, med värme och kärlek : en studie om samtalsstöd
Thee purpose of this study was to examine what helps in counseling against women victims of domestic violence, and how to identify empowerment in their experiences? It is a qualitative study using semi-structured interviews where the collected material is based on five interviews. The group we studied is victims of domestic violence who had taken part of counseling. The interviews were based on an interview guide that sought answers to women´s experience of counseling. The interviews were analyzed with the help of theories of support, domestic violence and empowerment.
Distriktssköterskans upplevelse av sin arbetssituation efter omorganisation
Dagens hälso- och sjukvård kännetecknas av allt fler omorganisationer. Mycket av den omvårdnad och uppföljning som tidigare togs omhand på sjukhusen har flyttats över på primärvården. Syfte med studien var att beskriva distriktssköterskors upplevelser av sin arbetssituation efter omorganisation. Nio distriktssköterskor från två vårdcentraler i norra Sverige deltog och data samlades in med semi-strukturerad intervju som sedan analyserades med kvalitativ tematisk innehållsanalys. Resultatet visade att distriktssköterskorna upplevde svårighet att möta de ökade kraven och att de påverkades både som person och professionell.
Revisionsreglering i samspel med en finansiell kris
Studien ska undersöka avskaffandet av revisionsplikten och hur revisorer anser att denna reglering samspelar med rådande finansiella kris. Med ett induktivt angreppssätt gör vi en kvalitativ undersökning i form av semi-strukturerade intervjuer och en analys av den offentliga debatten. Intervjuerna analyseras med hjälp av fenomenologi och Grundad teori. Utgångspunkten i vårt teoretiska perspektiv är två studier, den av Puxty et al om de reglerande krafterna och den utförd av Jönsson som behandlar framväxten av regleringar. Studierna är vidareutvecklingar av bland annat den institutionella teori som Streecks & Schmitters utvecklat.
Föräldrar som trampar i rabatten - är det så farligt? : Föräldrar med ADHD om föräldraskap och samhällets familjebilder.
This study examined parenting in relation to ADHD. The key point of the study was to let parents who experience an ADHD diagnosis share their view on parenting. The research required a comprehensive literature search, partly to examine earlier research in the particular field but also to gather information on parenting. One focus group interview and three semi structured interviews were used to gather relevant information. Informants were recruited from a project for individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
Att leda det patientnära omvårdnadsarbetet - intervjuer med nyutbildade sjuksköterskor
Bakgrund: ledarskap beskrivs som en av de tre hörnstenarna i sjuksköterskans yrkesroll. Forskning visar att ledarskap är en del av yrket många nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskor känner sig oförberedda på och att det kan vara svårt att ta den arbetsledande rollen på arbetsplatsen. Syftet: att undersöka nyutexaminerade sjuksköterskors upplevelse av vilka förberedelser de hade fått från utbildning samt vilket stöd de fått från arbetsplatsen för att leda det patientnära omvårdnadsarbetet. Metod: en empirisk intervjustudie, med en semi-strukturerad intervjuguide. Materialet har analyserades med inspiration av kvalitativ innehållsanalys.

The aim of this thesis was to investigate how the use of the IT-personnelsystem influences human resources and the new challenges and future requirements that may occur, while IT-personnelsystem is used more extensively in the HR-function.Previous research referred to in this study, has focused on how the HR-transformation has contributed to the development of an IT-personnelsystem, which has been used with increasing frequency. This use has created a significant change in the HR-function. This thesis focuses on investigating, describing and analyzing how the practice and development of the IT-personnelsystem meets the needs of the HR-transformation.This study uses qualitative research methods to investigate sixteen users? experiences and our understanding and conclusion is based on both semi-structured interviews and webb surveys. Initially deductive, later on our study took a more abductive approach.The result indicated a variety of uses for a specific IT-personnelsystem dependent on the users? function and positions and also how HR-activity was organized within the business.

VD-karusellen : En eventstudie om en VD-avgångs påverkan på marknaden
The goal of this study is to examine how the market reacts when information about the exchange of a CEO becomes public. It also examines factors such as gender and whether the departure was voluntary or not, discerning if the market behaves differently concerning any of these aspects.To achieve this, the study was performed using an event study. The selection consisted of 48 companies on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, who had during the years 2005 to 2008 underwent a change in leading management. These units were submitted to hypothesis tests, to determine if an abnormal return was attained during the event window. The tests were performed on the units as a whole, and divided up after gender and whether the departure was voluntary or not.The results of the study show no statistically significant abnormal return caused by the announcement of a CEO exchange.
Ledarskap i offentlig sektor : Organisationsfaktorer, ledarskapsmodeller, förutsättningar och medarbetarens hälsa
The purpose of this study was to examine leadership in the public sector based on leadership models, organizational factors, conditions and health of employees. The study was divided into sub-study one and two. In sub-study one the design was an observational study using cross sectional design in which 67 first line managers in the public sector answered a survey about conditions and leadership models. Sub-study two was an observational study using case-control design focusing on a health promoting leadership intervention in the municipal sector. Two semi-structured interviews and 41 surveys were collected.
Sjuksköterskors upplevelser kring omvårdnad : En intervjustudie
Aim: To find out what nurses at a hospital in central Sweden are experiencing as good care and what they believe is needed to achieve good care. To examine what barriers exist and how the work environment plays into good nursing care. Method: Descriptive and exploratory qualitative design with semi-structured interviews as the data collection method. Seven nurses, all women between the ages of 25 and 52 were interviewed at a hospital in central Sweden. An interview analysis model was used to analyze the results.

Abstract: The purpose with this study was to explore different peoples preconceived opinions of three psychiatric diagnoses; Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD), schizophrenia and Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). These designations are accompanied by a definite social stigma, which could have profound effects on a person diagnosed with either disorder. These designations carry the risk of excluding and labelling individuals and could provoke a feeling of abnormality and potentially segregate them from the Community. This study is a qualitative study of six individuals, (sample size equals six). The rationale behind the selection was to get a broad representation of different individuals? opinions.
