The purpose of this paper was to understand internal communication?s critical tradition by studying the interface of the subjective experience and the objective behavior within a management team. During almost two years this group was observed, several semi-structured interviews were conducted and a specific incident was analyzed. The interview texts where analyzed, using the Meaning Constitution Analysis developed by Roger Sages (2010) at Lund University. The observations were summarized in sociograms showing relationships in the organization.

This is a thesis in Personal- och Arbetslivsprogrammet at Dalarna University with thepurpose of evaluating an education initiative in Borlänge kommun. The educationCoaching Leadership is an initiative for the managers in the organization to exercisegood leadership and the education also serves as an incentive for managers. Eightbusiness managers and one from the HR staff have completed the training. Out of thetotal 9 participants in the training, six of them took part in this evaluation. Based on thethesis aim and questions we wanted to explore participants' attitudes to the education,and what skills and abilities they have acquired on the basis of educational goals andcontent.

Syftet med studien är att definiera begreppet interkulturell pedagogik och undersöka om denna pedagogik tillämpas i en mångkulturell skola. Studien bygger på en kvalitativ forskningsmodell med hjälp av semi-strukturerade intervjuer.Studien visar att användningen av interkulturell pedagogik är varierande ute i den mångkulturella skola som undersöks och att ungefär hälften av lärarna utgår ifrån ett interkulturellt perspektiv i sin undervisning.Detta resultat framkom genom lärarnas svar och exemplifiering av sin undervisning och upplägget av denna. En av lärarna berättade att hon använder sig av elevernas bakgrund genom att i geografiundervisningen ha elevernas ursprungsland som utgångspunkt medan en annan skulle införa vvp, veckans viktigaste person för att visa eleverna att de är betydelsefulla. Den andra hälften utgick inte utifrån elevernas kulturella bakgrund i undervisningen utan lät det stanna vid firandet av Ramadan, FN- dagen och internationell fika. Ambitionen till förändring och vidareutveckling fanns dock hos de flesta av pedagogerna i studien..

Att vara anställningsbar innebär att ha den kompetens och andra attribut som krävs för att kunna skaffa sig ett arbete. Den självupplevda anställningsbarheten varierar beroende på en mängd olika faktorer. Vissa individer har svårare för att etablera sig på arbetsmarknaden, till exempel unga och personer med funktionsnedsättning. Syftet med denna studie var att undersöka hur unga vuxna med autismspektrumtillstånd upplever sin anställningsbarhet samt vilken betydelse det tillskrivs dem i arbetsliv och privatliv. Data samlades in genom semi-strukturerade intervjuer och analyserades tematiskt.

Accounting is a well discussed topic, and an important tool that allows stakeholders and others to interact with the companies. To gain credible reports, the companies require maintenance, activities and monitoring. Wholesalers account for approximately 20% of Sweden's net and is increasing at a steady pace. Few studies on wholesalers are acquired and the internal control has shown to be important for the preparation of the financial statements.Therefore the study will be focusing on the smaller wholesaler?s internal control, all the way to the financial statements.

This study was carried out at Luftfartsverket (LFV Group, SwedishAirports and Air Navigation Services), AstraZeneca and Svenska Spel. The purpose of the study was to examine and compare how these companies work towards becoming, and maintaining to be, an employer of choice. Facts were sought about the companies and their work to become an employer of choice.To get a discerning and profound picture, a qualitative method with semi-structured interviews with twelve key persons in this work was conducted. The method Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA) was used for analysis.The results showed that an amount of factors have an input on how attractive the employer is. Common were compensation and benefits, competence development, leadership, information and health-related activities.

Bakgrund och problem: Dagens företag verkar i en osäker och dynamisk miljö där marknaden ställer allt högre krav på snabba förändringar och anpassningar till kundernas behov. För att möta denna dynamiska omgivning har en rad nya produktionsfilosofier introducerats. En av dessa som fått stor uppmärksamhet och vars användning ökat är lean.Under senare år har det kommit att riktas stark kritik mot tillämpningen av traditionell ekonomistyrning och att denna kan vara skadlig vid tillämpningen vid lean. Andra forskare tar det steget längre och ställer sig frågan om det finns någon plats för ekonomistyrningen vid operationella koncept.Som ett svar på ovanstående kritik introducerades lean accounting, ett ämne som fortfarande är hårt debatterat inom managementlitteraturen. Andra forskare skiljer här på lean accounting och lean control, där lean control fokuserar på output, behavioral samt social control.

The aim of this thesis is to illustrate the principal problem of the study of national self-images and by questioning the congruent existence of one in the case of Sweden. Through the use of qualitative method and semi-structured interviews the ambition of the study is to compare and to understand the national self-images portrayed in a major Swedish town, Stockholm and to that of a smaller town on the countryside, Sjöbo. A social constructionist approach in co-operation with key temporal and spasial dimensions are used to penetrate the interviews at hand. The main conclusions drawn from this study highlights the difficulties in addressing the concept of a congruent national self-image. Several major discrepancies appear in the analysed material, mainly in the past and the external dimensions, both from a regional approach, but also very much within the local entities themselves..

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how libraries market themselves in social media and why they do it. I have studied a certain public library?s process of introducing social media into its marketing mix, the preparations for this process and the effects of these marketing methods.The theoretical framework for this thesis is based on relationship marketing, a theory which focuses on relationships, networks and interaction. My main method has been semi-structured interviews with a librarian at the relevant library, with the manager of the library and with the head of the municipality?s department of communication.The results of my studies show that marketing on social media is a positive and important thing for libraries.

The purpose of this thesis is to investigate how a local community, and those who dwell within its borders, are affected when a large scale windmill park is planned in its immediate vicinity. I have used a qualitative approach and conducted semi structured interviews to gather empirical data. The study took place in a small Swedish village named Svartnäs, situated in the region Dalarna.I have used the concept of community as a symbolic construction (Cohen 1984), that together with the theory of structuration (Giddens 1984) and the notion of expert system (Giddens 1996) served as my main theoretical perspectives.Even though the windmill park is not built yet, its impact on the people and the local community of Svartnäs has been considerable. In the traces of the new windmill park new options and constraints, that will play an important role in the lives of the people who dwell in Svartnäs, are arising. The windmill project is enlarging old conflicts and is creating a divided village.

This essay is about what considerations foster home secretary may face in their profession and how they use themselves as a tool. We were interested in the family home secretaries as a profession and we found that this area is relatively unexplored. The essay is based on semi-structured interviews with ten family home secretaries from seven different municipalities. To interpret our results, we used Mead's theory of "Mind, Self and Society". Our paper shows that family secretaries are faced with a variety of considerations in the selection of foster homes.

Today there is an ongoing debate in Sweden concerning the care of older people. The main focus in the debate is that there is cut down on personnel and resources in the care of the elderly. We have focused on the Kalmar region, since our intention is not to compare with other regions.

Bostadsrättsförening Insjön 2 i Malmö ville ha sin gård renoverad. Uppdraget var att skapa en lättskött grönskade gård som var intressant året om. I allt för många fall på offentlig eller halvoffentliga platser likt denna bostadsgård resulterar grönytor ofta i monokulturer och statiska växtkompositioner. Viljan att istället skapa planteringar med stor dynamik och mångfald ledde fram till frågeställningarna om en bostadsgård kan gestaltas med stor artrikedom utan att kräva intensiv skötsel, samt vilka åtgärder som kan behöva göras för att skapa långsiktigt hållbara planteringar. En litteraturstudie genomfördes kring staden som ståndort, växters överlevnadsstrategier samt växtkomposition och växtval ur ett skötselperspektiv. Även intervjuer med fackmän inom projektering för grönytor användes för att få svar på frågeställningarna.

Syftet med den här studien var att undersöka hur pedagoger interagerar och bemöter barn under vuxenledda aktiviteter på förskolan utifrån ett genusperspektiv. Samt om det skiljer sig åt mellan förskolorna beroende på huvudmannaskap, privat eller kommunalt. Designen som användes är en kvalitativ, semi-strukturerad observationsstudie. Observationerna genomfördes på två förskolor, en privat och en kommunal, med barn i åldrarna fyra till sex år. därefter analyserades resultaten utifrån tidigare forskning författarna tagit del av.

The aim of this study examines how two groups of social workers at two workplaces reflect to their own clothes in various work situations. We want to gain an understanding of the variables that affects social workers choice of clothes at work. In a qualitative approach the study is based on two focus group-interviews and four semi structured interviews. Empirically analyzes relate to Pierre Bourdieu?s "la distinction, Ervin Goffman?s "frontstage-backstage", and of Michele Foucault?s power concepts.
