This is a thesis in Personal- och Arbetslivsprogrammet at Dalarna University with thepurpose of evaluating an education initiative in Borlänge kommun. The educationCoaching Leadership is an initiative for the managers in the organization to exercisegood leadership and the education also serves as an incentive for managers. Eightbusiness managers and one from the HR staff have completed the training. Out of thetotal 9 participants in the training, six of them took part in this evaluation. Based on thethesis aim and questions we wanted to explore participants' attitudes to the education,and what skills and abilities they have acquired on the basis of educational goals andcontent.

Egentlig depression är en folksjukdom, men i dagsläget är kognitiv beteendeterapi, som fått mest stöd i depressionsforskning, en bristvara. Därav finns ett behov av att med begränsade resurser kunna hjälpa så många patienter som möjligt och då är Internetbaserad självhjälpsbehandling i ett alternativ vid mild till måttlig depression. Denna behandlingsform kan dock inte hjälpa alla, varför de som inte svarat på den inledande behandlingen som ett andra steg bör erbjudas mer intensiv och individualiserad vård; så kallad. stepped care. Vid depression uppvisar vissa patienter sudden gains, det vill säga relativt stora, snabba och stabila minskningar av symptom, som ofta bibehålls på lång sikt.Syftet med studien var att undersöka effekten av stepped care vid mild till måttlig depression, vinna ökade kunskaper om sudden gains samt se om överlappningar mellan sudden gains och stepped care fanns.85 deltagare inkluderades i studien, varav 69 randomiserades till Internetbaserad självhjälpsbehandling eller live gruppbehandling.

This thesis means to find out how preschool teachers are working to demonstrate the importance of recycling and reuse for children. My hope is to contribute knowledge about various practical methods to establish the idea of sustainable development in the operation. I have used the method of qualitative research and done semi-structured interviews with preschool teachers on certified green flag preschools. The questions I have asked for example concerned how the preschool teachers have worked with recycling and reuse, how much the children have been able to influence and if other didactic subjects are implicated. Six interviews were made and these are summarized in the result part.

The aim of this study was to investigate how disabled pupils feel about school lessons in physical education. Previous studies in the area show that many disabled pupils think that this is a problem. Drawing on data from one-to-one semi-structured interviews with six students in the age of 11-14 years, this study focused on how students with disability cope with their impairments and physical activity in school. The interviewees? background displays a wide range of sport related activities and besides school the interviewees seem to be engaged in different sports associations on their leisure time.

The purpose of this study was to explore the state of female prostitution in the city of Tehran, and besides, analyze the elements that can lead women to harlotry in Iran. This research is based on three sources of information: firstly, interviews with three harlots in Tehran and I got help of a semi-structured interview guide. Secondly, I discussed prostitution with conscious resources that worked within the public services in Tehran and had experienced of working with female prostitutes. Thirdly I analyzed texts and reports about prostitution in Iran. The data from interviews are tied to two theories: symbolic interactionism and feminism.

In this study we aim to investigate what employees at a callcenter see as prospects, opportunities and barriers of learning within a company. To answer the purpose of this essay, two questions were formulated; "What opportunities for learning does employees experience in the company?" and "How can learning in the workplace improve for the sellers?". First, we present what previous research has highlighted regarding workplace learning and learning within the callcenter industry. Afterwards we present ten semi-structured interviews with leaders and sellers within a telecom company in Stockholm.

Det finns tre stycken IPCC-system, stationär, semi-stationär samt fullt mobil IPCC.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how four teachers treats and teaches aboutxenophobia and right-wing extremism. A further aim of this study is to investigate whetherthere are any differences in how a teacher at a vocational high school treat and teachabout xenophobia and right-wing extremism against the teacher at a preparatory school, theydo. To achieve my purpose I have used qualitative interviews of semi-structuredform.These interviews were done with two social studies teacher at a vocational high schooland two social studies teacher at a preparatory school.My results show that teachers all too often respond to xenophobic views directly into theclassroom by reasoning and discussions with students. In my resault is also evident thatthere is a big difference between the teachers at the schools how much time you devoteto xenophobia and right-wing extremism in teaching.The conclusions show that these differences largely depend on which group of students thatteachers have.The conclusions will also be that there are great similarities between the way teachers reasonabout how to deal with xenophobia and the means to do, they also are relatively similar..

The purpose of this essay is to study seven different school counsellors? way of working and collaborating with students with an ADHD diagnosis. The informants we met come from different high schools in southern Sweden. The study is based on a qualitative approach and the primary knowledge was established through semi-structured interviews. The secondary knowledge is accounted for the form of previous research and theories.

In Kenya the Maasai pastoralists have based their livelihoods on dairy production and the production goal is to maintain a sufficient milk supply throughout the year. The pastoral dairy production has two vital characteristics; breeding and milking. Traditionally, breeding is the men?s responsibility, while milking is the duty of women. Depending on this partition of chores between men and women, they also have different management routines, ambitions and strategies regarding the milk production.

Gruvnäringen är en av Sveriges äldsta industrier. Redan på 1100-talet bröts järnmalm på Utö i Stockholms skärgård. Gruvdriften har haft stor betydelse för utvecklingen av infrastrukturen i form av vägar och järnvägar i landet. Den har också haft betydelse för uppkomsten av flerbostadshus. Då gruvorna ofta låg avlägset var möjligheten till boende på platsen en förutsättning för att kunna locka arbetskraft.Att värdera en gruva är en lång och besvärlig process där många människor inom skilda kompetensområden måste vara inblandade.

Denna kvalitativa studies syfte är att synliggöra lärares perspektiv och arbetssätt gällande konflikter och konflikthantering. För att göra detta genomfördes semi-strukturerade intervjuer med tre manliga och tre kvinnliga lärare på tre olika typer av skolor; en stadsskola, en byskola och en tätortsskola. Resultatet visade att det viktigaste vid konflikthantering är att alla elever ska kunna hantera konflikter själva, men när de inte kan det måste läraren ingripa. För att uppnå detta behövs förebyggande arbete där eleverna ska lära sig att sätta ord på sina tankar och känslor. Många lärare kände att de inte fått nog med stöd från sin utbildning gällande konflikter.

The purpose of this thesis is to explore the co-creation process and how value is created based on a service orientation using a network perspective. The thesis is studied from a social-constructionist philosophy, using a qualitative approach of data collection and the theoretical framework includes network theories, theories of service-orientation and co-creation. We have conducted semi-structured interviews with a small firm and its network, which consists of a customer, a supplier and a partner. We found that Håkansson?s ARA framework combined with Ballantyne and Varey?s triangulation of value-creating activities help to acquire an understanding of the actors? bonds, the resources? ties and the activity links that exist in a network.

Detta arbete undersöker huruvida spelare kan identifiera ett tema utifrån endast ett spels regler och mekaniker. För detta syfte har en temalös variant av kortspelet MyGame utvecklats. Åtta testpersoner har fått spela spelet mot varandra i par varpå de har fått svara på två enkäter, den ena rörande deras uppfattning om tema i spelet och den andra om deras spelvanor. Varje testperson har också deltagit i en enskild semi-stukturerad intervju där frågorna har varit baserade på testpersonens enkätsvar. Resultatet har sedan sammanställts och analyserats för att validera eller förkasta hypotesen.

The purpose of this paper is to increase knowledge and understanding of how an identity is constructed on the internet and if it is different from the everyday identity. To analyze this, I have studied the theories of how identity is constructed in everyday life and then applied this on the empirical data that I have collected. In this study, I have chosen to pursue a qualitative approach using semi-structured interviews to gather the empirical data. In the study, six informants participated and all of them has an active social life both on and off the internet. The results that I have found in this study shows that an identity online is constructed in a similar way as it does in real life, however, some limitations that exist in everyday life do not exist online.
