The purpose of this study was to investigate, through a qualitative survey, the need of knowledge and strategy in organisations today and tomorrow. The empirical investigation is built on a semi structured interview that was conducted on nine different companies in Gislaveds community. The companies were from three different branches namely: tree, metal and polymer. Three interviews were conducted in each branch.The result from the interviews showed that the globalisation had put the companies under hard competition which had made the need for rationalisation and effectivness more apparent. Having said this, the demands on the organisation and the individuals within it will constantly increase.

Previous research has shown that the psychosocial work environment and leadership have a significant influence on the employees work satisfaction. Still there is much to explore regarding the employees experiences about these two subjects. A qualitative approach was used in this study to increase the understanding of the employee´s experience of psychosocial work environment and leaders role affecting it. Eight semi structured interviews were carried out at two organizations with four interviews in each place. The data was transcribed and a meaning concentration analysis was conducted.

Using a qualitative research method to get the empiricism for analysis, we have analyzed advisors and job seekers experience of management meetings at the job center in Halmstad. We used a semi-structured interview form when we collected the empiricism from four advisors, four job seekers and one complementary actor in the form of a job coach, with a hermeneutic approach to interpreting the informants? subjective experience. We also chose to analyze our results using theories by Asplund, Von Wright, Mead, Scheff, Barth and MalténsThe results presented have shown that time is what they all described as lacking. It was found that the job seekers had a reasonable degree of common experience in both the management meetings and the working role of the advisors, while the advisors themselves were divided on how their role would be applied.

Syftet   med   studien   är   att   undersöka   hur   anställda   på   en   statlig   myndighet   upplever   säkerhetsarbetet,   säkerhetsnivån,   samt   om   de   anställda   upplever   ett   säkerhetsklimat.   Insamling   av   data   har   skett   genom   semi-­??strukturerade   intervjuer   med   sex   stycken   anställda   på   en   statlig   myndighet.   För   analys   av   insamlad   data   har   teorier   om   organisationskultur  och  symbolisk  interaktionism  använts,  samt  ett   ramverk   som   integrerar   säkerhetskultur   och   säkerhetsklimat   med   Scheins   tre   kulturella   nivåer   En   diskussion   om   när   människor   i   olika  arbetsgrupper  skapar  olika  klimat,  tar  upp  problematiken,  när   en   arbetsgrupp   värderar   och   har   andra   attityder   gentemot   säkerhetsarbetet   och   säkerhetsnivån,   än   andra   arbetsgrupper.   Resultatet   tyder   på   att   arbetsgrupper   har   skiljande   upplevelser   av   säkerhetsarbetet   och   säkerhetsnivån   på   arbetsplatsen,   och   visar   på   möjligheten  av  flera  säkerhetsklimat  i  organisationen. .

Begreppet etisk stress syftar till att beskrivakonflikten som uppstår när en person på grund av organisatoriska hinderupplever sig oförmögen att handla utifrån sin moral. I denna studieundersöks hur tolv primärvårdspsykologer beskriver sina upplevelser avetisk stress, i vilka situationer den uppkommer och hur de hanterar dessa. Urde semi-strukturerade intervjuerna framkom att de tillfrågade upplevde etiskstress i relation till ett flertal olika situationer varav många härrörde frånresursbrist och oklara riktlinjer. En utökad patientgrupp, brist påvidareutbildning, standardiserade interventioner och begränsadebehandlingstider var exempel på orsaker till dess uppkomst. Psykologernahanterade detta genom att bland annat gå emot riktlinjer, föra fram sin åsiktsamt att inta ett öppet förhållningssätt gentemot patienten kring de rådandebegränsningarna..

This final thesis is carried out at BAE Systems Hägglunds in Örnsköldsvik. The mission was to construct and integrate a new semi-active damping unit in the terrain vehicle BvS10. Questions that came up during the process, among others, was how to mount the damping unit to the vehicle in a flexible way without exposing it to unnecessary wears.A generation of the concept is made in 3D using CATIA V5 of a possible solution to the problem. The idea is to weld the unit to the skid girder which is one of the main constructions of the track system. In this way the damping unit will come closer to the track system, which will partly protect it from impacts from below and minimize current problems with breaking forces in the torsion shafts.The complete construction was then analyzed, first by theoretical calculations and then with the FEM-tools in CATIA V5.

The intention is to focus on the implementation of the tablet in preschools and how the intentions around the introduction of the tablet take shape in different preschools. The method is semi structured interviews where the respondents consist of 3 preschool directors and 6 teachers where the preschool directors work. This is a relevant subject to illustrate, as the tablet has become a tool in preschool where it seems to be different opinions about how it should be used. This study aims to understand how the implementation can take form in different preschools, what kind of similarities and differences we can see with the intentions of the tablet and if there is need of clarification on the workings of the tablets in preschools. The results show that the intentions around the introduction of the tablet in preschool look different in the preschools, and the implementation of this new technology starts in a small scale with help of photographing and videotaping.

This is a qualitative study where the purpose was to investigate what professionals experience to be the reason for an individual to become addicted to gambling and continues to gamble even though it leads to negative consequences. The purpose was also to investigate what the professionals experienced was of importance for an individual to recover from a gambling addiction. The study was based on qualitative semi-structured interviews with knowledgeable individuals in the field. The main findings of the study were that the motivation for individuals with a gambling problem to continue gamble was that they saw gambling as the solution to their problems by winning back lost money. It was common that gambling was an escape from anxiety, guilt, shame, and other gambling-related problems such as financial liabilities.

Varje år insjuknar cirka 1500 människor av inflammatorisk tarmsjukdom i Sverige och de flesta drabbas i åldrarna 15-35 år. Att som ung drabbas av en kronisk sjukdom kan innebära extra påfrestningar då perioden kännetecknas av en intensiv identitetsutveckling. En inflammatorisk tarmsjukdom kan innebära hinder och svårigheter i det sociala livet genom de begränsningar som sjukdomen ger. En känsla av att vara annorlunda kan bidra till en upplevelse av stigmatisering och därför är det betydelsefullt att uppmärksamma denna patientgrupp. Det är av yttersta vikt att sätta sig in i de ungas livsvärld för att kunna skapa en bra vårdrelation.

The aim of our study is to explore the thoughts and beliefs held by the professionals who work with the sentence youth service for young offenders, and how they feel about the same.How is the sentence youth service perceived from a professional perspective? How does the concurrence look like between the police, the social services and the prosecutor, when it comes to young offenders? What kind of difficulties/challenges do the professionals see in the possibility to effect the sentence youth service?The study is based on a qualitative method. The data consists of seven semi-structured interviews with two police officers, four social workers and one prosecutor.The results of our study indicate that youth service is a good sentence for young first-time offenders; the study also indicates that concurrence between the different professions is a success factor; furthermore the study revealed that it was very difficult finding adequate working places..

Uppsatsen handlar om hur fyra judiska personer upplever antisemitism i Sverige. De har svarat på frågor som rör två teman, antisemitism och Israelkritik/antisionism.Informanterna har inte personligen utsatts för antisemitism i stor utsträckning, däremot upplever de att antisemitismen finns mer utbrett på andra platser i Sverige.Israelkritik upplever de enbart som antisemitism när den är obalanserad och när media anklagar judar kollektivt för vad som sker i Israel/Palestina. Sionism ser de dock ingen anledning till att kritisera eftersom den handlar om ett judisk självbestämmande. Ett par av informanterna anser att sionism är så starkt förknippat med judisk tradition att antisionism per automatik blir judefientlig..

Syfte: Att undersöka patienters upplevelse av klimatvård och klimatvårdens effekter hos patienter med reumatoid artrit (RA).Metod: En kvalitativ ansats valdes för studien. Två män och sex kvinnor som rehabiliterats med klimatvård intervjuades enligt en semistrukturerad intervjuguide. Texten analyserades utifrån kvalitativ manifest innehållsanalys.Resultat: Analysen av intervjuerna resulterade i fyra kategorier och tio underkategorier. De intervjuade upplevde klimatvården positivt. Träningen upplevdes smärtfri, intensiv, varierad och individanpassad.

Mitt syfte är att undersöka de positioner som möjliggörs och utesluts för subjektspositionen tjej, genom beskrivningar av kön, kropp, genus och sexualitet. Med hjälp av diskursanalys och med en utgångspunkt i queerteori har jag analyserat mitt empiriska material, som består av semi-strukturerade intervjuer med fem tjejer som går på gymnasiet. Positionen tjej upplevs, beskrivs och omförhandlas på varierande sätt hos respondenterna. Jag har delat upp material i fyra teman; sexualitet, sammanhang och utrymme. I dessa kan man förstå omförhandlingar som sker utifrån makthierarkier såsom den heterosexuella matrisen, värdehierarkier inom heterosexualiteten och normalitet.

Students who regularly cause trouble in school, how can they learn anything? That is what we asked ourselves after having visited a special school for ?troublesome students? (in Swedish resursskola). Our main purpose has been to find out how these students have experienced the help they have been given in those schools.We have interviewed students, parents and a social worker in order to find out if the alternative pedagogical methods used by those schools give the students better opportunities to perform their schoolwork. The interviews have been made two or three years after the end of their studies in compulsory school (grade 9). We have used a qualitative method with semi structured interviews and also an evaluation model.

This study explores the relatively new phenomenon of online poker. More specifically, it elaborates on who the online poker player is, why s/he plays online poker, what the fascination of the game is, why s/he continues to play, and what the experience is. The study is delimited to focus on individuals who mainly play Texas hold?em online. The empirical material is based on semi-structured interviews with active online poker players, as well as on secondary data such as articles and literature.
