I takt med att städer runt om i världen växer ökar fokuseringen på miljöproblemen och därmed höjs kraven på ett välfungerande distributionssystem för olika typer av gods. Ett sätt att försöka lösa denna problematik är att samdistribuera gods, vilket har undersökts i olika internationella och nationella projekt. I det nationella projektet SAMLIC, samordnad varudistribution till Linköpings city, har liknande problematik dryftats men med den skillnaden att fokus ligger på att skapa ett ekonomisk och logistiskt effektivt distributionssystem för alla inblandade parter. Bieffekterna av en sådan fokusering blir särskilt positiva eftersom även bättre miljö och service uppnås.En viktig aspekt då det gäller SAMLIC-projektet är att initiativet till att starta ett projekt inom ramen för samdistribution av varor i Linköpings city ursprungligen kommer från näringslivet. Anledningen till att ett initiativ till ett samdistributionsprojekt togs under år 2000 var att näringslivet insett att mängden leveranser in i och ut ur Linköpings innerstad gav upphov till trängsel och därmed stora trängselkostnader.

The technological development contributes to an increase in advertising when it comes to media. Those who are working to develop advertising are constantly looking for new ways to reach consumers in unexplored contexts. Web TV is a relatively new technique that involves the distribution of television across the Internet. This study intend to investigate how users perceive advertising appearing on web TV, and contribute to the knowledge about how advertising adapt to new media. To reach the results of this study, we used quantitative data, collected in the form of web-surveys and qualitative data collected through semi-structured interviews.

The impact of the distribution in the soil volume of two farm manures on the net mineralization and immobilization processes of nitrogen were studied in an incubation experiment. Cattle slurry and broiler litter were placed in the soil with three procedures for incorporation including placement on top of the soil (TOP), in the middle of the soil (MID) and mixed homogenously with the soil (MIX). During the two weeks of incubation, few significant differences in net mineralization were seen between TOP, MID and MIX. However, there was a tendency that MIX led to a larger net immobilization of N than placement at one point (TOP and MID). This is also the result in the literature.

In this essay I have tried to present the ideas and thoughts of the Swedish author Rolf Edberg (1912-1997), journalist, ambassador and county governor. By many regarded as an environment philosopher and the introducer of deep ecology into Sweden. The essay emphasizes Edberg as a modern renaissance man of important knowledge with a rhetorical force to present and generalize the problems the planet Earth is meeting. The valleys southwest of Storuman has been exploration targets for sulfide mineralizationslike the Laisvall Pb-Zn deposit since the late 1900 when several mineralized boulders wherefound. No previous glaciogeological survey has been made. This report focus on thedirections of local paleoiceflows and glacial transportation in the area of Skikkisjön, thelocation of the westernmost mineralized boulder, found in 2010. The aim of this study hasbeen to create a picture of the glaciogeological evolution of the area in order to determinatepossible hostrock areas. My results suggest that the geomorphology and transportationoccurred during a western icedivide located in the nearby mountainrange.

Föreliggande uppsats behandlar hur oberoende skivbolags roll i distributionskanalen för musik påverkas av Internet. Syftet är att studera hur oberoende skivbolags roll imusikindustrin påverkas då musikbranschens innovationsgrad tilltar och digital musikförsäljning ökar sin andel av den totala musikförsäljningen. För att utreda dettahar ett antal skivbolag samt distributionsbolag intervjuats. Intervjuerna har sammanställts och analyserats utifrån teorier om innovationer samt teorier om distributionskanaler. Resultatet pekar på att skivbolagens arbetsuppgifter i allt mindre skala kommer handla om skivproduktion och istället huvudsakligen beröra utveckling och marknadsföring av artister och musik.

The aim of this study was through applying a new perspective reach the people who during medieval time lived and worked on the farm. On the basis of my previously study and a gender perspective this study have compared general literature with local and then interpreted the farm from a local context. The questions raised here concerns division of work and spatial distribution on the farm as well as local impact on gender constructions.This study resulted in interesting problems within the archaeology itself but also in significant details about the farm. No gender restrictions could be seen in the houses except in Hus 1 were a smaller space, which probably used as storage or a workshop had been restricted tomales. Instead the buildings social space mainly consisted of a mixed gender environment.

Quality is the main focus in management of all laboratories. Accurate results of the analyses are not only determined by the analytical procedure but also by preanalytical factors. In the total analytical process of clinical specimens, there are many possible preanalytical sources of error. Monetoring of temperature on test samples of the transport boxes is one way to reduce the mistakes in the preanalytical phase.In this study, four laboratories from primary health care were invited to participate. The temperature has been measured on test samples of the transport boxes being delivered to the laboratory.In three cases the temperature remained within the limits, but in the fourth case the temperature varied more than the allowed interval.

To confront the problem, different varieties of keep-fit measures have been launched in the workplace. The primary goal of this study is to investigate the use of the Keep-fit measures program and to identify what motivates the employees to utilize this program. This study aims to explain the Stuxnet-attack against Iran in 2009-2010 by using the IR-theory of structural realism. By doing so the theory also faces the challenge of the impact of the information revolution on security and international relations. The structural realism that is at hand is that of Kenneth Waltz and his Theory of International Politics from 1979.The study reaches the conclusion that Waltzs focus on the structure of the international system and the distribution of capabilities applies well to the case of Stuxnet as a cyber attack. The creators of the sophisticated Stuxnet, USA and Israel, also indicates that when it comes to this certain aspect of the information revolution and IR, states seem to still be the main actor. Finally the character of one of the major features of the Stuxnet-attack; the internet, is shown to have an anarchic structure that fits well as an extension of the realist view of the international system..

Publication of science fiction has a tradition in Sweden. Adult-fantasy does not. In recentyears, the 1980's, Swedish publishers have realised how profitable fantasy is. Of the totalpublication of the two genres between 1989 and 1994, 54% was science fiction and 46%was fantasy. The reason for this even balance is that fantasy-books get reprinted more frequentlythan science fiction-books.

The problem presented in this report is that of finding a method to calculate the lift force from a single-element airfoil of arbitrary shape. A number of restrictions are used in order to simplify calculations while retaining reasonable accuracy. The problem is solved for the two-dimensional case only and no finite-wing effects are taken into account. Furthermore, inviscid and incompressible flow is assumed. The method used to solve the problem is the vortex panel method, with vortex singularities distributed over simplified airfoil geometry.

A segmented market, according to traditional methods, appears increasingly difficult in mature consumer markets. A common explanation is that the mature markets are often characterised by over-supply which results in a great variety of choices for the consumer. Furthermore, the consumer of today has a more complex and flexible purchase behaviour which is difficult to catch. This makes consumer segmentation difficult. International studies indicate that dividing consumers into generation cohorts might be advantageous in understanding consumers of today.

Denna uppsats behandlar ämnet filöverföring i ett nätverk. Fokus för arbetet har varit att undersöka MTU:ns inverkan på överföringshastigheten vid filöverföringar baserat på vilket protokoll som används och storleken på filerna som överförs. I arbetet har ett flertal experiment genomförts som syftat till att utreda detta, samt att finna vilket protokoll som överlag presterar bäst baserat på omständigheterna för överföringen. Olika filöverföringsprotokoll, fildistributionsprotokoll, MTU:er samt filstorlekar har testats för att finna vad som resulterar i högst överföringshastighet vid filöverföring över ett Ethernetnätverk. Resultaten visar på att en hög MTU uppnår högst överföringshastighet vid överföring av stora filer, men att en standard-MTU fungerar bättre för att överföra mycket små filer..

The distribution problem due to these regulations is solved by the foreign assembly department, KD, at Scania. This means that competence is needed and costs are added not related to Scania's core operations.The aim of this master thesis has been to analyse and to evaluate alternative ways of managing the packing operations considering cost, quality and work organisation. To study and examine the work methods and operations of today and also to present methods measuring the operations effectiveness and productivity.We have used the system approach to maintain totality and to understand the component's relation to this totality. Field studies combined with studies of relevant literature and studies of other companies operations have given us the knowledge and the understanding of the packing operations needed.
