Bakgrund: Under hösten 2008 drabbades hela världen av en finanskris som hade sin grund på den amerikanska bostadsmarknaden. Några år tidigare hade IASB infört en ny standard för redovisning av rörelseförvärv som benämns IFRS 3. Denna standard behandlar goodwill som efter införandet numera ska skrivas ner istället för att skrivas av som den gjordes tidigare. Eftersom finanskrisen har varit väldigt omfattande är det många företag som har blivit lidande till följd av sämre resultat och bristande försäljning. Vi anser att det är intressant att undersöka huruvida företag som är under en lågkonjunktur väljer att redovisa sin goodwill eftersom det påverkar ett företags anseende utåt.

The purpose of this report was to investigate what characterizes a good psychosocialwork environment, and whether it may have impact on a vessel's safe voyage. Thisreport is proposed to increase the understanding of what creates a good psychosocialwork environment and its potential effect on safety at sea. In order to find out thesuccess factors for a good work environment group interviews were conducted in socalledunstructured focus groups. During these conversations, the participants discussedfreely by the question "what is a good psychosocial work environment for you?? Thesuccess factors were thereafter applied on selected accident reports, to investigate theextent to which they were represented and taken into account.The results of the study show three categories of factors: colleagues, communicationand competence, where colleagues are the main contribution to a good psychosocialwork environment.

This paper is a study of documentary film production with focus on the filmmakers choice and usage of sound equipment. Using professional articles and literature have first of all helped us determine a standard for the conventional use of sound equipment in documentary film. Afterwards, by analyzing our own interviews we?ve received answers on how filmmakers relate to the conventional usage and why they select equipment as they do. Thereafter, we describe a technical method which helps a filmmaker to be able to record sound for documentary film on his/her own, using simple measures without reducing quality.

The foundation for this thesis lies in whether or not, and how, the body representation in printed commercials, specific products directed to the body (shampoo, body lotion etc.), has changed during the last fifty years. Four years have been chosen because of the changes in society that we believe might have had an impact. The commercials that have been picked out are the ones that best represent the general view of the body. We have found that the changes when it comes to body presentation has followed the social development to a certain degree, but it is difficult to say how much the society has had an affect on the body ideal in advertising. Representations of the male body is something that has escalated since the early 70?s, fifteen years earlier few commercials was made with male models, and the few there were, never showed more than the face.

Denna kandidatuppsats behandlar säkerhet inom molnet. Med hjälp av en litteraturstudie inom ämnet kombinerat med intervjuer av företag som både använder och erbjuder molntjänster undersöker vi vad företagen har för kunskap om säkerhetsbrister inom molnet. Utöver säkerhetsfrågor har vi även belyst en rad generella frågor kring molnet; varför företag använder molnet och vad de upplever som för- och nackdelar med tjänsterna. Vidare argumenterar vi för införandet av en standard som kommer att klargöra vilka säkerhetsrutiner som molnföretagen erbjuder. Uppsatsens resultat är av intresse för den som står inför ett beslut att införa molntjänster, eller den som redan använder molnet men har funderingar kring dess säkerhetsaspekter..

In this report the situation for cyclists on 2+1-roads is analysed and studied. Theseroads are often the old 13-meter roads that have been changed into 2+1 to increasethe security. Two road sections outside Motala in Sweden has been deep studiedand analysed. The different parts in the planning process show how the progressgoes. To begin with the change should be within the old 13 meters but after thepilot study was circulated for comments the result became a broadening to 13,75and 14,00 meters.

Political realism is a general theory within political science focusing on the principle interest defined as power. The theory?s mutual standpoint is that states are inspired by power politics meaning that military and economic power or security stands in the centre while moral and ethics are placed in the periphery. This essay?s purpose is to analyze realism which helps to understand the development and change of the perspective.

The purpose of this study was to try to understand the Swedish population regarding the perceptions of the Swedish welfare system, based on the reactions that occurred after Sweden's Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt's statement about raising the retirement age. Our results demonstrate that the reactions on changes in the pension system in fact rooted in a safety factor and not the change in the pension system itself, through which the Swedish welfare system acts as a safety net for the population. Further the results shows that these safety factors create a form of egoism. With an interaction between empiricism and theory, where the starting point of the material was of an inductive approach, the material abstracted into different levels from which the result emerged. The focus of this study lies in the understanding of how human beings act according to one's need for security in major changes, which may be of importance to a comprehensive understanding of changes in social structures..

Projektets syfte var att undersöka en nyframtagen värmeväxlarpanels kyl- och värmeeffekt. Arbetet utfördes åt företaget Panelito i en av Chalmers Fastigheters lokaler där paneler monterades. Vid testerna mättes temperaturer och flöden på luft och vatten in och ut ur systemet under en timmes tid per test.Avgränsningar som gjordes var att testerna inte utfördes enligt ISO-standard, vilket skulle innebära en sluten kammare, stationära förhållanden och noggrant kalibrerad utrustning med mycket små mätfel. Det togs heller inte hänsyn till tryckskillnader i luftsystemet.Kyleffekten blev som bäst 83.0 W och värmeeffekten blev som bäst 211.9 W. Resultaten jämfördes med en annan typ av vanligt kylsystem, kylbafflar.

HIV/AIDS is a chronic disease that has increased and will continue to increase. Most health care workers will one way or another come into contact with it. The purpose of this literature review was to describe factors contributing to nurses' attitudes towards patients with HIV/AIDS. Sixteen articles were analyzed and quality assessed. The results revealed gaps in knowledge among nurses.
