The aim of this essay is to create an understanding, of how teachers comprehend knowledge, grades and tests in a school context. It is important to get a grip of the different parts of the teacher?s reality. The test, the grades and knowledge are deeply connected as a part of a whole. The teachers view on knowledge can not be understood without asking about the practical parts of their work and understand how the different parts are dependent on each other.The main material consists of interviews with four teachers that work in a public mandatory school in the south suburbs of Stockholm.

En ökad mobilitet leder även till ökade påfrestningar på miljön. Klimatkompensation, med donation av frequent flyer poäng, skulle kunna vara ett sätt för att minska på den förstärkta mobiliteten men viljan hos medlemmarna att spendera sina poäng på klimatkompenserande åtgärder är låg. Frequent flyer programmen bör dessutom omstruktureras så att de i högre utsträckning fokuserar på kringtjänster som inte bidrar till att förstärka medlemmarnas mobilitet..

This thesis is about how teachers in natural and social science integrate the upper secondary school library in their teaching and how they use it for their teaching. Literature in connection with the study is described. Qualitative interviews have been done with four teachers from each subject and with an upper secondary school librarian.The study has shown that there are differences between the teachers in social and natural science. One group, consisting of mainly teachers in social science, survey the library collection.They give the pupils suggestions of useful material and sometimes they take out material for the pupils, with help from the librarian. The other group, teachers in natural science, uses library tools, cooperates and discusses with the librarian how the pupils should work when they use the library.

SammanfattningSyftet med det här examensarbetet är att genom en läromedelsanalys jämföra betygsmålen för EN 1201 (Engelska A) med sex utvalda läromedel, varav tre läromedel för yrkesförberedande program samt tre för studieförberedande program, för att granska om de satta målen uppnås. Det har även undersökts huruvida läromedel avsedda för studieförberedande respektive yrkesförberedande program innehåller skillnader med avseende på hur de behandlar betygsmålen.Resultatet visar att inget läromedel når upp till alla mål och det är främst två mål som fattas i läromedlen: (1) att jämföra kulturtraditioner/levnadssätt/samhällsförhållande samt (2) elevers reflekterande över lärandet. Även texter och övningar utifrån elevers studieinriktning saknas ofta. Grammatik får stor plats i läromedlen fast att det inte finns med som ett specifikt mål.Slutsatsen är att lärare inte enbart kan stödja sin undervisning på läromedlen utan det krävs en professionell tolkning av målen och en lokal arbetsplan för läraren att stödja sin undervisning på. Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva vad som bidragit till fyra elevers övergång från ett individuellt program på gymnasiet till ett nationellt. Detta har gjorts genom en kvalitativ metod där fyra elever i åldern 16-19 år har intervjuats. Vårt intresse fångades under en praktikperiod på en skola där många av eleverna på IV läste upp betygen och sökte in på ett nationellt program. Detta hör enligt Skolverket inte till vanligheterna. Det gemensamma för de intervjuade eleverna är att en inre motivation och ett mål spelar en viktig roll för att komma vidare med sina studier..

Ossification of the collateral cartilages of the distal phalanx has been studied primarily in cold blooded horses. The clinical relevance of this condition is unknown. Despite this fact, since 1939, all Swedish Ardenner stallions have had to be classified as being free from this ossification to be approved for breeding. Initially, palpation was used as a diagnostic method, but since 1982 radiology has been the only method used. The aim of this study was to assess the outcome of 68 years of breeding program. Dorsopalmar radiographs were taken of the front feet of 58 Ardenners (30 mares, 8 geldings and 20 stallions) and the ossification of the collateral cartilages was evaluated and graded according to three different scales; - Ruohoniemi (grade 0-5), - Swedish University of Agricultural Science (grade 0-3), - and a new scale (grade 0-3), developed for this study.

The most common preventive and treatment service for children in child welfare services in Sweden is the contact family program. The number of children who are involved in the program has steadily increased. Usually it is a single mother who apply for or is offered this service. The aim with a contact family is that the parent should get respite and that the child should have its network enlarged and sometimes get a male role model.The purpose of this study was to look into how children´s perspective was considered in the contact family process. I have studied the process in order to see how it works and to see to what extent children is participating.

The aim of this project was to develop educational resources concerning bioenergy and sustainability. The initial purpose was to produce two sets of material: one suitable for children in their first years of Swedish compulsory school, and one designed for upper secondary students. In the report, however, the possibilities are discussed for this material to be used with even wider audiences.In the first phase of the process, literature (books, reports etc.) with relevance to bioenergy, sustainability and theories of learning were studied. This insight, along with the appropriate course curriculums, was used in the development stage to produce learning material for the targeted audiences. The development was followed by tests and evaluations carried out with high school students, upon which an analytical discussion is held regarding the consequences and possibilities that the results of this project pose.The content of the learning material is based on the curriculum and course requirements provided by Skolverket (The Swedish National Agency for Education) for lower elementary and high school students.

This thesis presents a general definition of science education and earth science education.An inventory has been conducted of published material during the years 2011-2013, withthe start in 2013 and working backwards for international publications and with no timelimits in time for Swedish publications. Different databases were used during April 2013 forthe inventory.The thesis organizes and analyses published material in earth science education in a tablewith a following discussion.The purpose with the inventory was to investigate the amount and content ofprevious year?s publications in earth science education. Concept inventories were foundto be the most common subject of the found material, followed by virtual field studies. Thelargest amount of publications was published in North America.

This report discusses how well the competences the master program in Information Technology, given by the Royal Institute of Technology, meet the demands from the business life. It is made qualitative and about 20 companies have taken part to get the results. The study has been made to see how well the three first years and the entire five year master, with different aiming, meets the demands. The results shows that the master program needs to be remodeled to meet the demands in the more ?softer competencies?, which for example is people management and an understanding about economical, juridical and cultural aspects.

SammanfattningArbetsmarknadspolitiska program är ett sätt att komma tillrätta med arbetslösheten. Forskning gällande arbetslösa har till stor del utgått ifrån ett hälsoperspektiv. Utvärderingar som gjorts på programmen fokuserar oftast på själva programmen och inte på individerna som deltar i dem. Därför fann vi det intressant att undersöka detta. Syftet med denna uppsats är att beskriva och analysera vad det innebär för långtidsarbetslösa när de går från öppen arbetslöshet till medverkan i ett arbetsmarknadspolitiskt program.
