Syftet med denna uppsats är att undersöka om det förekommer användande av piratkopierade program bland studenter på Karlstad universitet. Om det gör det, vad är anledningarna och hur ser de själva på sitt användande?I uppsatsen studeras enbart programvara och inte annat upphovsrättsligt skyddat material, som film eller musik. Studien är en icke-slumpmässig statistisk undersökning.

Therefore this study discusses the subject mentorship in trainee programs. Which characteristics are affected with the mentor and protégé during a mentor relationship in a trainee program? The aim of the study is to create an awareness and knowledge of the mentor and the protégés understanding of which characteristics are affected in a mentorship relation after a completed trainee program.

I den här undersökningen har jag belyst hur elever som går sitt första år på gymnasiets tekniska program, har upplevt teknikundervisningen på högstadiet. Målet har varit att belysa teknikämnets relevans för tekniska studier på gymnasiet, dess inverkan på teknikintresset samt påverkan på valet av tekniskt program på gymnasiet. Andra frågor som jag har belyst är om eleverna i första hand väljer program eller skola, och hur viktig inriktningen på tekniskt program tycks vara för valet. Undersökningen bygger på intervjuer med fem elever som går första året på gymnasiets tekniska program. Intervjuerna har sedan analyserats med hjälp av den narrativa analysmetoden inom berättelseforskningen, och resultatet består av fem berättelser som skapats utifrån intervjuerna.

The purpose of this paper is to examine how teachers comprehend LUS as a development program, but also how they think about one of the points in the program. The study is based on interviews with five teachers working with ages between preschool to ninth grade.The results show that the development program is splendid, it doesn?t come with a lot of paperwork and it has a humanistic approach. When it comes to point 18a which is the main examination, the teachers mainly agree with each other. They all talk about preunderstanding, reading speed and the amount of literature as the main characteristics to be placed at point 18a.

Driveability analysis of terrain data offers an important technique for decision support for all kinds of movements in the terrain. The work described in this report uses a high resolution digital terrain model generated from the laser radar data and further processed by the Category Viewer program, and information from the Real Estate Map. Properties of features found in a filtering process are calculated and compared with a set of rules in a knowledge base to get a driveability cost. This cost is then visualized in a graphical user interface. An evaluation of what driveability is and what it is affected by is performed, and a general cost function is developed, which can be used even if not all relevant information is available.

Abstract I have made a Website called ?Art school? for Liljevalchs art Gallery, Culture administration in Stockholm and Culture school in Stockholm. It is with scholarship from these that this Website has been possible. The work whit the ?Art school? started in the autumn of 2005 and ended in May 2006 on distance from Stockholm towards Blekinge technology school in Karlshamn. The Webb place is for the general public, but most for people who have interest in art and for those how want to learn more painting in different mediums. This Websites I name: oil, watercolour, acrylic, coal, gouache, and graphite. On each one of these mediums you?ll get to know about their history, what technique they have, what sort of material you need, practise and tip.

Kursen Datorkunskap ingår i 15 av de 17 nationella program som finns inom gymnasieskolan idag. The concept of leadership development plays an important role within the modern organization. As a result of the increasing interest in developing leadership competencies, investments in leadership development programs are becoming a common part of business strategies. However, the return on those investments is seldom evaluated. The reason for this is considered to be the complexity created by the many factors that influence leadership but have no relation to the program. This is a case study based on interviews with participants from a one-year leadership development program that was carried out at AB Previa.

The aim with this study was to describe how the board members of athletic clubs view and value their youth program. A qualitative approach was used in form of interviews. The interviews were made face to face as well as being taped, this to facilitate the analysis. When the board members viewed their youth program to be in alignment with the overall club philosophy there was a discrepancy between their views and the ?de facto? conditions of the youth program.

The theses discuss information seeking with a focus on Google and social networks. Students attending the librarian program in Lund have been examined by means of two methods; diaries and information horizons, where they had to solve a specific assignment. The information horizon as a method contributes to getting a structural perspective on the information search process instead of viewing information search as a procedure. Information horizons use social network analysis.The aim of the theses is to investigate the importance of the social network in information search, with a particular focus on Google as a search tool. Our hypothesis is that Google acts as a compensator to the social network when the students search for information and in the educational program.The research indicates that there is no direct correlation between usage of the social network and usage of Google.

In my essay I will study the injustice within science in movies, in this particular case: Archaeology. This essay will also examine whether there is reason to believe that there is aconnection between this unfairness and what's being displayed of the archaeologist in popular culture. In my case I have decided to focus on the movie industry because it's a dominant part of our daily life. I have chosen to explore two different groups of students studying an occupation. One is, of course, the archaeological institution at Lund University, and the other is a high school (upper secondary school) program called ?Omvårdnadsprogrammet? at Rönnens in Malmö.

Uncertainty is a well-known phenomenon that is recurring in biographies, imaginative literature and science, but is less studied in nursing science. The aim of this participatory action research project was to, in collaboration with nursing students; explore nursing activities for relieving patients? uncertainty. A qualitative approach was chosen with focus groups and the text was content analyzed. The students studied their third semester on a nursing program.
