Det vi med detta arbete vill belysa är hur den samiska traditionella kunskapen om naturen som funnits och finns bland samerna som folk kan lyftas in den i en institution som den samiska förskolan. Uppsatsen är vårt utvecklingsarbete kring traditionell kunskap i naturen som en del i forskningsprojektet ?Gal dat oahppa go stuorrola?. Teorierna som vi lutat oss mot är från Mikkel Nils Saras (2004) lära om naturen från ett samiskt perspektiv, Asta Baltos (1997) teori om samisk barnsuppfostran samt Linda Smiths (1999) och Rauna Kuokkanens (2000) skrivningar om kolonisering och dekolonisering. Sara har systematiserat och kategoriserat natur utifrån ett samiskt perspektiv.

The aim of this essay was to investigate how religious topics and events are presented in five coursebooks in social studies. To do this the following questions were answered: In which context do discussions about religion take place? Are religions brought up in different contexts? To which extent do discussions about religion occur? The method consisted of a both quantitative and qualitative content analysis. The results of this essay showed that discussion regarding religion in social studies coursebooks mainly focuses on wars, conflicts, terrorism and to some degree the human rights. Islam was the religion that occurred most frequently in the coursebooks.

Genom regeringens satsning Matlandet Sverige har Sametinget fått medel för att satsa på den samiska maten. Satsningarna har bidragit till att placera den samiska maten på den svenska matkartan, men en tydlig och gemensamt förankrad framtidsstrategi för den samiska maten har saknats. Denna examensuppsats för Agronomprogrammet med landsbygdsutveckling som inriktning ämnar skapa en bild av vad den samiska maten är för samerna, samt hur samerna i framtiden ska marknadsföra och profilera maten. Samer är Europas enda ursprungsbefolkning och en stor del av deras identitet kretsar kring rennäringen och den traditionella kulturen kring renen. Exploateringar och det instrumentella samhället hotar rennäringen och samernas traditionella leverne. Sápmi är en gastronomisk region med stark terroir i maten, vilket betyder att maten bär på ursprung, historia, platsbundenhet och kultur.

Syftet med att undersöka björnceremonin var från början att ge ett nytt perspektiv på rovdjuren. Nu är dock syftet att förklara varför samerna ägnade sig åt björnceremonin. Hur kan man förklara de riter som björnceremonin innefattar? Jag vill helt enkelt tränga djupare ner i de teoretiska förklaringar som omger riter och titta på om dessa går att använda när man ser på just den samiska ceremonin. Jag ska med hjälp av teorierna försöka finna nya svar i det material som många forskare studerat före mig.

Denna uppsats är en studie i divination som användes i fornnordisk, samisk, irländsk-keltisk, grekisk och romersk religion. Syftet med uppsatsen har varit att undersöka om det finns något som kan sägas vara typiskt inom den fornnordiska divinationsformen. This thesis is a study of how Norse religion and early Christianization is presented in three Swedish museum contexts. Empirical studies of the exhibitions relating to religion have been conducted at The Historical Museum in Stockholm, The Museum of Gotland and Östergötlands Museum and interviews with the museum staff compliment the empirical data. With a religious psychological perspective this paper focuses on how religion is communicated during an investigation, and how religion might include in the decisions and the implementation of committed honor killings. This study pinpoints the question if it´s reasonable to unilaterally declare honor killings with culture, which is based on a distinction between culture and religion. The study is done on a court case where the offender confessed to a murder that is categorized as a so-called honorable motives. The material consists of interrogation reports during the investigation and several notes written by the offender before the murder. With a broad definition of religion the text material is analyzed with the theory of attribution.

With this thesis I have examined the views of religion among six comparative religion teacherstudents, with the perspecitve of their life stories. I have also examined what stance they want to take due to their personal beliefs in their forthcoming teaching. To achive this I have used in-depth interviews among the six soon examined teacher students, and within the interviews I have had a particularly focus on turning points of the students? life stories. Att leva med flera kulturella identiteter kan vara en rikedom för en människa men kan också skapa en inre konflikt när det inte genomsyrar alla delar i dennes liv. Syftet med detta arbete är att studera sätt att skriva låtar och sjunga i mötet mellan min amerikanska musikidentitet och min samisk/svenska kulturtillhörighet. Jag vill undersöka vad som händer om jag i mitt musikskapande försöker använda mig av mina identiteter, eller rättare sagt, hela min identitet på olika sätt. Projektet består av låtskrivande som resulterat i sju låtar vilka i samarbete med en producent arrangerats, gjorts demoinspelningar på och slutligen spelats live vid en konsert. Under processens gång har jag analyserat huruvida och i så fall på vilket sätt det hörs att jag försökt att ta med hela identiteten i låtskrivandet och arrangemangen.

Swedish students in the upper secondary school will recieve informaition regarding religion from multiple sources. If we look past the students surroundings like the family, friends or multimedia school is still the primary arena for religous education. Discussions about religion will take place in other lessons than just the subject religion. History is in my opinion the subject closest related to religion and the two makes up for a lot of the values work in swedish schools. Textbooks is still one of the most important tools for education and that makes them important as objects to study.

The following essay aims to determine what textbooks and teaching media educators in the county of Västerbotten use when teaching the relation between religion and science. Based on educational science theory and through analyzes of factual texts, the teaching materials was examined to determine how much focus they put on the thematic of religion and science.
