This paper has its aim to investigate in which way the theory about the dynamic of the triadic nexus, presented by Brubaker, needs to be revised. In the first place this theory is presented and after then applied on the triad formed by: the Hungarian national minority in Transylvania, Romania and Hungary. Through the empirical evidences, that are presented here by following up the political relations and its dynamics over time between the three fields, is shown that the theory is usable for the case in question. Further as we approach the more actual development of the political life in the triad appears a need to deal with one more field which would be for example the NATO or/and EU.This means that Brubakers theory has to be revised so it would take in account a forth field and that of an international organization/institution. The arguments for this needed change is put forth through empirical evidences on the political relations that the two states has with NATO or/and EU and the huge influence these have on the states..

Reservdelsinköparna på avdelningen Support & Services på Saab är utspridda på sex orter i Sverige med skilda verksamheter och affärer. Dessa skillnader påverkar de logistiska beslut som tas och ökar svårigheten att använda en gemensam lagerstyrningsstrategi. I Tannefors, vilket är den ort som har tydligast uttalad lagerstyrningsstrategi, grundar sig de största lagerstyrningsproblemen i att systemstödet som används vid den dagliga planeringen inte är användarvänligt. På de mindre orterna där Saabs inköpsverksamhet inte bedrivits lika länge består problemen till stor del av att en uttalad lagerstyrningsstrategi saknas vilket leder till brister i planering, ett kortsiktigt tankesätt och brådskande expressbeställningar. För att möta dessa utmaningar har denna studie utformat en gemensam lagerstyrningsstrategi för de två största inköpsorterna, Tannefors och Nyköping, vilka kan ligga till grund för att kunna utöka strategin till alla Support & Services inköpsorter.Lagerstyrningsstrategin utformades genom att först genomföra en dubbel ABC-klassificering av alla artiklar och sedan gruppera ihop de klasser som kan styras likartat samt bestämma en önskad servicenivå för respektive grupp.

This project is a learning CD-ROM production aimed at first-time parents. It is using both sound and images, moving as well as non-moving. The purpose of the production is to be an interesting alternative to traditional books. We have been looking at similar productions like drivers license educational CD-ROMs and encyclopedias for inspiration and ideas on how to proceed. In order to give the content some dynamics, we've also added the element of 3D-animated sequences.

Denna rapport undersöker möjligheten att bryta ner ett stort program till mindre och enkaler moduler och skapa en dataöverförings- och kommunikationsarkitektur mellan dem. Dataöverföringen skall vara dynamisk för att olika moduler skall under exekvering ha möjlighet att byta modul den vill ha data ifrån samt centralisera koden och kommunikationen skall optimera antalet meddelandeöverföringar. Arbetet resulterar i två arkitekturer som uppfyller tidigare satta målen i ett parallellt system, arbetet analyseras sedan analytiskt och styrkor och svagheter undersöks. Arkitekturerna medför att många problem med att utveckla stora system undviks och detta skapar fler möjliga kopplingar, mindre komplexa moduler samt centralisering av funktionalitet i programmet..

This bachelor thesis includes two different manuals and design of an interface box between a test object and a general test station (computer) with ARINC429 communication.There are three different purposes with this project:The first is to setup a general test station with ARINC429 communication using a communications card from DDC (DD-42916i3-300) and software from Ampol Technologies (dataSIMS).The second is to design a new interface between the test computer and the test object. As well as implementing two components in the equipment.The third is to write two separate manuals to guide the users of this equipment. There are two different kinds of users of this equipment, technicians and system engineers. Technicians use the equipment to test and repair flight components. System engineers will implement new components in the equipment.The result of this project is a working test station with a new interface and two manuals..

The data acquisition system COMET developed by Saab AB contains a unit for signal conditioning and A/D conversion, called KSM. The varieties in signal conditioning constitutes of a number of specific PBAs and maintenance as well as reconfiguration of these are complicated not to mention costly. This thesis has aimed to investigating whether the signal conditioning circuits can be replaced by a general purpose, programmable solution. If so, how can this be done? The development has been carried out by evaluating ideas through the use of a laboratory environment and has resulted in an analog design for laboratory purpose.

The purpose of this study is to explore and understand the social and structural dynamics of an organization working with questions regarding development. The organization in question is Vi-agroforestry, a Swedish based NGO that works around the lake Victoria basin and the focus will be on their office in Rwanda. I have used a qualitative approach and conducted participatory observation as well as semi-structured interviews to gather data. I have emanated from the individuals in the organization by using a theory of microsociological organisationperspecive to understand how the employees create and is created by the existing social structures. (Blomberg, 2003) Even though the office in Rwanda only is a relatively small part of Vi-agroforestry?s operations it is still highly individual and independent from the rest of the organization.

This study will chart the changeover work, with a standpoint in the SMED-theory, at the company Peter Ernst AB in Värnamo. They are suppliers in plastic moulding industry and delivers to amongst other Saab in Trollhättan and Scania. The company are in a very competitive market, and they have to make manufacturing more efficient and rationalise their costs to be able to compete. A big problem, which the company has identified, is their long changeovers. It brings higher costs, a more stressful work climate and holds back the company from becoming more efficient.Field studies will be conducted on the changeover, which will be observed and filmed.

Saab Aerosystems är en affärsenhet inom Saab-gruppen. Stridsflygplanet JAS 39 Gripen är huvudprodukten och den kompetens som används till Gripen nyttjas också till andra produktområden såsom obemannade farkoster, taktiska system, pilotutbildningar, simulatorer och nätverksbaserade försvar. När det gäller Aerosystems produktstrategier har dessa förändrats över tiden då företagets marknadssituation förändrats i och med att de gått från en enda kund (försvarets materielverk) till att verka på en mer internationell marknad. Kraven har skärpts, vilket gör att Aerosystems behöver en mer kostnadseffektiv produktion. Samtidigt måste de möta marknadens krav på flexibilitet, kvalité och leverans. Syftet med studien är att, genom en analys av rör- och svetsavdelningen, ta fram en uppdaterad och standardiserad planeringsstrategi för givna avdelningar. Därigenom ska företaget nå kortare ledtider, minskad kapitalbindning och ett kostnadseffektivare utnyttjande av resurserna. Både rör- och svetsavdelningen är utformade som funktionella verkstäder.

Det här examensarbetet har gått ut på att hos Saab Systems, en del av koncernen Saab Group, i Linköping vidareutveckla en mätplattform som ska användas för att studera kosmisk strålnings inverkan på RAM-minnen, i detta fall handlar det om minnen av typen DDR2 SDRAM. Kosmisk strålning är något som elektronik utsätts för då den finns i ett flygburet system på hög höjd, den här strålningen finns även nere på jorden till viss del men det är inte förens på hög höjd som det blir ett problem. Strålningen kan ge upphov till bit fel i minnena, att en nolla ändras till en etta eller tvärtom. Detta är exempel på mjuka fel, det kan även uppstå så kallade hårda fel där själva hårdvaran tar skada. Att elektroniken idag blir av mindre och mindre storlek ger tyvärr upphov till ökad känslighet mot den här typen av strålning, något som ökar behovet för att kunna testa minnen ordentligt innan de används i flygplan, vilket skulle kunna genomföras med en sådan här mätplattform.Mätplattformen består av en PowerPC mikrokontroller och mitt uppdrag var att skapa en mjukvara till denna som skulle skrivas i programmeringsspråken C och Assembler.

Detta examensarbete har som syfte att konstruera en prototyp av en testsändare inom Sbandet,2.2 ? 2.4 GHz. Arbetet innefattar konstruktion och utveckling av hårdvara och kodför testsändaren, samt tester och optimering av den framtagna prototypen.Koden designades för en FPGA i Quartus II med VHDL. I FPGA:n hanteraskommunikationen mellan användaren och hårdvaran. Designen av mönsterkortet gjordes iprogrammet Altium Designer.

This thesis describes a system for dealing with free surface fluid simulations, and the components needed in order to construct such a system. It builds upon recent research, but in a computer graphics context the amount of available literature is limited and difficult to implement. Because of this, the text aims at providing a solid foundation of the mathematics needed, at explaining in greater detail the steps needed to solve the problem, and lastly at improving some aspects of the animation process as it has been described in earlier works. The aim of the system itself is to provide visually plausible renditions of animated fluids in three dimensions in a manner that allows it to be usable in a visual effects production context. The novel features described include a generalized interaction layer providing greater control to artists, a new way of dealing with moving objects that interact with the fluid and a method for adding source and drain capabilities..
