This project concentrates on musicians who work in a professional music studio.The task of this project was to design a new headphone system called Foldback system.The advantage of this system is that all involved in a music project could influence their ownlistening during the project. SAMMANFATTNING Sedan lång tid tillbaka har hangrisar kastrerats för att undvika ornelukt, en fekal-urinliknande doft som uppkommer i galtkött vid tillagning. Kastrationen är smärtsam och forskarna letar nu efter alternativ till det kirurgiska ingreppet. I denna litteraturstudie har jag valt att fokusera på hur man kan hindra produktion och upplagring av orneluktsämnena androstenon och skatol i subkutant fett genom att förändra grisarnas miljö. Stallhygienen har visat sig ha betydelse för ornelukt där smutsiga grisar har betydligt högre halter skatol i subkutant fett än rena grisar. Även ljus och temperatur har en inverkan på orneluktsämnena. Höga temperaturer och korta ljusperioder ger ökade halter av androstenon och skatol.

Syfte: Att beskriva följsamheten av handhygien hos hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal och hur följsamheten av handhygien hos sjuksköterskor kan ökas. Metod: Litteraturstudie med beskrivande design. Data samlades in från databaserna PubMed och Cinahl. Resultatet baserades på 12 artiklar. Resultat: Den generella följsamheten av handhygien hos hälso- och sjukvårdspersonal var låg men sjuksköterskor tenderade att ha en något högre följsamhet än övrig personal.

The buying decision process describes how the consumer makes a purchase decision through a rational process (Markin, 1979) and an understanding for how consumers make a purchase decision can according to Sands et al. Material handling is a term that includes all kinds of handling of material from a raw product to a finished one. ABB is active in the following segments; foundry, packaging and palletizing, metal industry and plastics industry.The demands for efficiency and reliability have been set very high in the industrial sector. Optimizing of the material handling will give the company higher cost-effectiveness. Around the robot there are different kinds of material flows, to optimize the cycle time, consisting of carriages combined in different ways.Motion Control is a complex system with main functions such as; positioning, synchronizing, indexing and more. The products in the system need to cooperate to make these functions possible therefore integration of motor- and servo products are important.

This work is about euthanasia and how to use it on horses, dogs and cats. A description for each animal is done, about when it is time, why, which methods can be used and who is allowed to use them, how and where it shall be done. The methods we have concentrated on are: - Chemical destruction and the most common drugs for euthanatize horses, dogs and cats. - Physical disruption of the brain activity by a captive bolt, only for horses. The captive bolt only makes the horse unconscious and must always be followed by cutting off the vena jugularis. Then the horse dies because of loss of blood. No matter which method used for euthanizing, the animal must be declared to be dead by the operator before other measures. The testing criteria for death: muscle relaxation and cyanosis, cessation of reflex activity and pupillary dilatation, cessation of respiratory activity and cessation of all cardiac activity.

Studiens syfte var att beskriva hemodialyssjuksköterskors kunskaper om fosfater, livsmedel med ett högt fosfatinnehåll samt förmågan att omsätta den kunskapen till ett dagsintag. Metod: Designen var deskriptiv med komparativa och korrelerande inslag. En egenkonstruerad enkät användes med kunskapsfrågor som var indelad i tre teman; kroppen, livsmedel och dagsintag. Totalt 19 hemodialysenheter besvarade enkäten vilket gav en undersökningsgrupp med 181 respondenter. Statistiska uträkningar gjordes för sammanställande av antal poäng per tema och korrelation mellan kön, ålder, antal år som sjuksköterska och antal år inom dialys.

Denna uppsats syfte är att undersöka och förklara hur brand extension produkter kan påverka ett företags image. Vi har valt att undersöka Jaguars, Porsches och Ferraris brand extension produkter då dessa avviker mycket från deras core product. Uppsatsen besvarar även hur konsumenterna uppfattar dessa brand extension produkter och företagens bakomliggande motiv till dem. Vi har under uppsatsskrivandet gång pendlat mellan teori och empiri. Vår empiri består av kvalitativa undersökningar.

Peat litter has been used in animal houses for a long time. Because of its good ability to absorb liquid and nutrients from the manure it can create a dry surface for animals and a valuable manure product. Through changes in agricultural practises the use of peat litter has diminished and is to a great extent replaced by straw, sawdust and cutter shavings although Sweden is rich in peat-findings. The aim of this work was to summarize the presented knowledge about the used of peat litter, techniques, advantages and disadvantages and to compare with other commonly used litter materials. Articles on peat litter have been searched for in magazines, databases and books at SLU library. Visits to peat industries, interviews with peat producers and with peat researchers contributed to the material. Peat is not a uniformly material.

This work is about silage contaminated with slugs (Arion lusitanicus). The hypothesis was: Do slugs affect the nutritional value and hygiene quality of silage? During the winter season 2007/2008 silages were discarded in big amounts due to the contamination of slugs. Both the Swedish Farmer Association (LRF) and the National Veterinary Institute (SVA) received phone calls from farmers and animal owners about contaminated silage. The Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) and SVA decided to initiate this project as a master thesis.

This report describes the results of the project "Concept development of jet engine inspection plugs" carried out in the spring of 2008. The work was done at the department of product definition at the company Volvo Aero in Trollhättan. The objective of the work was to develop concepts for a "Volvo-unique" inspection plug. The work is part of Volvo Aero's focus on proprietary (self-developed) technologies. Inspection plugs can be found on virtually all aircraft engines and gas turbines.

This thesis aims to study brand change, which can be of interest since a brand during its lifetime can be expected to meet a lifecycle consisting of five phases; innovation, introduction, growth, maturity and recession. In order to avoid the recession phase and the sales decline that follows there is a need for a change of the brand.In order to study brand change, theoretical framework is compared to two real world cases that have gone through an active change.The conceptions of positioning, repositioning and revitalization are clarified. Positioning deals with how brands are located in customer?s minds as well as on the real market. Repositioning implies a change of the current position and is also often a move towards a new market segment.

The background to this paper is the fact that many products are demonstrated to show the consumer value of the product. This is generally the fact when it comes to agricultural products, such as tractors. The growing number of models makes this even more import for the retailer to perform a demonstration that really catches the interest of a prospect customer. One problem is that these demonstrations are expensive and many small retailers have difficulties to afford demonstrations of every model.
