Systemutveckling i praktiken - konsten att tillmötesgå den okända användarens krav
ABSTRACT
System development has become more and more concentrated on development for the
Web and this has resulted in larger target groups. It will most surely continue
to be so considering that the Web will be the infrastructure of business and
services in the future. A big target group involves that the owner of a system
can earn a lot of money from the paying users, but that assumes that the system
can meet user needs. If a system on the Web does not satisfy the user?s demands
then they will use the competitor?s system instead because it is only a
mouse-click away.

The purpose of this thesis is to examine how social procurement can be a further development of public-private partnership. This is done with interviews and a case study of the social procurement Mitt Gröna Kvarter and its labor effort Boendebyggarna. The theoretical framework used in the thesis consists of public-private partnership and corporate social responsibility. It tries to answer the following questions:What does this social procurement mean by the concept of public-private partnership? What does this social procurement mean for the participants involved? How can social procurement be seen as a further development of public-private partnership? The thesis uses the theory development around the concepts of public-private partnership and corporate social responsibility and shows that social procurement does indeed have similarities to public-private partnership and could very well be a further development of it..
Upplevelser av fysisk aktivitet i ett slättlandskap :
Title: Experiences of physical activity in a flat country
Regular physical activity provides many chronic diseases and is an important contributor to health promotion. According to Swedish goals for public health, community planning ought to provide opportunities for exercise in all groups of the population and exercise in daily life should be uncomplicated, even in rural areas. The purpose of this study was to explore how individuals living in a flat country experienced their opportunities for exercise on a regular basis. Four semi-structured interviews were carried out with a phenomenological approach and for the analysis a phenomenological-hermeneutic method was used, resulting in two main themes and nine sub themes. The first main theme ?The reciprocal relation between physical activity and the landscape? showed that the informants experienced that they had good opportunities in the landscape for physical activity, it was easy to exercise on a regular basis, provided there was motivation.
Chefen hos Matisse : konst för organisationer och ledarskap
My analysis consists of an in-depth study of the experience of a group of development programme participants who were exposed to the use of art and artistic work in organisation and leadership development, resulting in positive effects. My starting point is creativity as a concept according to paediatrician and psychoanalyst DW Winnicott who stresses how important playing and creativity is for us, even as an adult, for us to utilise our full potential. He believes that we have a psychological space ? a crossover area ? where the outer, objective reality and the inner, subjective reality meet. Playing, creative development and experiences occur in this space.

Kunskap, motivation och stöd : En studie om kompetensutveckling inom statistisk analys av experimentella stöd
Testing and analysis of measurement data is a major part of the workday for development engineers within the section Fluid and Emission Treatment to assure the quality of products developed by Scania CV. The ineluctable variation and therefore uncertainty of results can be quantified and discussed with the use of statistical methods. The overall objective of this study is to examine how the competence of development engineers can be improved within the area of statistics. This has been done by relating the concept of competence with the use of statistical methods to analyse experimental data and by investigating which factors that influence the competence of the engineers. Observations of the daily operations, interviews and a focus group with development engineers and a workshop with management personnel, has been used as research methods in this study. The results show that the desired competence, from the perspective of the individual, consists of knowledge, motivation and support. It is important that none of these parts are neglected when the competence of engineers is to be strengthened.
Folkbiblioteket som en regional och lokal utvecklingsfaktor
This study aims mainly to investigate what kind of role the public library plays in the regional and local development. The aim is also to investigate how the public library can strengthen the role as a factor of regional and local development. To explore the subject, the study is focused on the Swedish region of Västra Götaland. Three officials along with two policy documents, are included in the study as representatives of the region. Four public library managers are also interviewed but as representatives of the local perspective.
Vetenskap, Teknologi och Ontologiska frågor
This essay is a study that takes interest in technical and technological change essential to philosophy of science. What is shown is the importance of an active attitude towards this change, by the articulation of the question: Does technical development lead to new ontological questions for science? - and by the answer that such questions do appear. It is clear that passive assumptions in this matter might prohibit science in the proceeding search for truth.By examples of ways in which technical development helps and challenges science, it is concluded that scrutiny of the relationship between technical development and ontological suppositions and hypotheses within science is well motivated..
Kristianstad Kommuns destinationsutveckling : Utvecklingen utifrån tre hållbara aspekter

A Green Belt of synergies : a study on the implementation of a contemporary Green Belt
The prevailing urban migration is a worldwide process. This results in growing cities and a diminishing proportion of people living in the countryside. As the urbanization continues a large amount of the world?s population is expected to live in urban settlements of informal character by 2050. Green Belt has for many years been used to control urban growth and to secure the sustention of larger green areas around towns and cities.
Inkluderande ?garskap i varierande demokratiska kontexter: En j?mf?rande fallstudie av svenskt utvecklingssamarbete med Rwanda och Tanzania
This thesis investigates how recipient countries' domestic type of democracy affects its
inclusive ownership in international development cooperation. This is done by examining
Swedish development cooperation with Rwanda and Tanzania during the period from 2010 to
2014, a time when ownership - a concept which emphasizes recipient countries' leadership
over its own development - was a central part of the international development agenda. The
two cases were selected through a most similar case design where the value of potential
explanatory variables was similar, except for the recipient countries' types of democracy.
Furthermore, the case study uses a comparative analysis to analyze strategies and reports
done by SIDA and the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Previous research focuses on the
exclusion that national ownership can result in, in undemocratic national contexts. The main
argument for this should be seen as the fact that ownership can not be representative if the
power of the recipient's development agenda is limited to a decision-making elite.
Leder icke användarcentrerad systemutveckling till låg användbarhet?
Within system development users have rarely been involved or received much attention during the development. Most of the times, the primary focus within system development lies on insuring functionality, rather than making the system usable. The literature specifies that a non user-centered approach can contribute to a product with low usability, which can lead to an ineffective and unsatisfactory experience for the end users. The purpose of this thesis is to begin an investigation to see if the use of non user-oriented system development methods is a possible cause of low usability in the final system. To achieve the purpose of this thesis, we have conducted a case study. Within the case study we examined the usability of a time reporting system. The case study included seven minor studies; an investigation concerning the development of the system, an expert evaluation of the system, interviews and observations of users, developed paper prototypes and executable prototypes, both which user testing was performed on.The result of this study shows that by working with user-entered methods, the usability in the time reporting system increased after the design had been revised.
Digital doggy bag : iPhone applikation som tar med dina mat- och dryckupplevelser
In this project an iPhone application for storing food and drink experiences was developed with focus on an easy interaction design. The already existing market of similar applications were studied and evaluated to extract their positive and negative features. Interviews with experts within the food and drink business where made in the pre study to get a good perception of how to divide and categorize the sections in the application. To optimize the usability, workshops with potential users with different technical experiences where continuously held during the development of the design.During the development two variants of development environments where evaluated. The final result of the application was developed in the environment that made the best impression and seemed to be the best alternative. The resulting product has a thought out design meant to be easy to understand, even for the first time users.
