Today's climate and environmental issues have now been up for discussion for quite long. Various environmental measures have been taken, but it is not always certain that those measures actually are for the better because of the complexity of our environment. Therefore, studies of whole life cycles are very important even if they are time and resource intensive.Real estate accounts for 15% of global carbon emissions, but also affects our environment in many other aspects. In Sweden this number is even higher. About 30 % of its carbon dioxide emissions originates from building sector and changes are therefore of great importance.

This plan of multiple-use is made on the private owned forestproperty Äspinge 2:2 in the middle of Skåne. The term ?multiple-use? came to Sweden in the beginning of the twentieth century and has slowly grown until about 30 years ago when the laws of nature conservation and sustainability was written into the forest law. The so called ecoturism got more and more popular and people began to seek space and silence in difference to the life in the highly populated areas. This also encouraged foreign tourists to come to Sweden. Mostly danish, german, and dutch people.

The aim with this thesis was to investigate what characterises an English Arts and Crafts garden how they could be modernised in Sweden. My research was limited to 20 weeks of full-time writing and worth 30 ECTS. Through literature studies, interviews and site visits I could analyse my findings which resulted in a concrete garden design project. The Arts and Crafts was a movement that started in England during the 1880?s and evolved as a reaction towards the industrialisation. The influence came from the writings and practices of John Ruskin (1819-1900) and William Morris (1834-1896) who advocated the importance of craftsmanship. The Arts and Crafts movement also became a ?recipe for life? and was associated with a healthy and morally pure way of living.

Most companies have a bottleneck in their production, that is a constraining re-source. When the demand is higher than the capacity in the constraining resource it is impossible to produce the demanded output. This thesis is the final part of bachelors program of Nuclear Engineering at UppsalaUniversity (program code KKI1). The work has been carried out in cooperation withForsmark Kraftgrupp AB. The topic studied deals with possible improvements ofefficiency at the planning department at block 2 in Forsmark i.e. FMP2.FMP2 plans and coordinates over 3,000 operations which is carried out during theannual overhaul of block 2 in Forsmark. I think that the lack of proper premises is the reason way not more of the ordinary machinery maintenance or upkeep is performed on the farm. When I did my literature survey I found that the Swedish environmental code, set by the Swedish law regulate how drain or sewer should be built. The environmental code however leaves a lot for your own interpretation. It might not be so bad but it must be very hard for the local environmental office to interpretation the regulations, since they are the ones that gives permission for the sewer in your workshop.

Att föda barn är för många kvinnor en av de största händelserna i livet. Ett flertal faktorerpåverkar kvinnans upplevelse såsom smärta, kontroll och stöd. Att få kontinuerligt stöd underförlossningen påverkar både förlossningsupplevelsen och förlossningsutfallet i positivriktning. Det finns flera studier om förlossningsupplevelser men få som enbart fokuserar pånegativa upplevelser av förlossningen. Studier som beskriver vad kvinnor med en negativförlossningsupplevelse upplever skulle vara viktigt för att få en mer positiv upplevelse saknashelt.

Uppsatsens syfte har varit att, ur ett systemperspektiv, kartlägga dels vilka problem som funnits inomavhjälpande underhåll för amfibiebåtsystemet fram till idag, dels att kartlägga vilka framtida möjligheter som finnsför att förbättra detsamma. Två frågor har besvarats i uppsatsen: Vilka problem finns inom avhjälpande underhållför amfibiebåtsystemet fram till idag? Vilka framtida möjligheter finns för att förbättra det avhjälpande underhålletför amfibiebåtsystemet?Frågeställningarna har besvarats med hjälp av systemteori och metoden kvalitativ fallstudie. Tekniken somanvänds för att samla in det empiriska materialet har varit intervjuer i form av frågeundersökning.Uppsatsens svar på den första frågan kan sammanfattas till:Det har varit problem i och med att det inte genomförts någon underhållsberedning. Detta har fått till följd att detär brister i uppläggningen av verktyg och reservmateriel på olika resursnivåer samt brister i utbildning av tekniker.Vidare är det brister i samband och informationsflöde.

The purpose of this master thesis is to attract attention to the undefined spaces of our urban landscape and emphasize the need of these spaces in the city. The different values of these spaces are here clearly presented so that they can be considered when real estate developers show a particular interest in any one of these undefined spaces. The term undefinied spaces can mean a lot of things. The spaces that I now choose to define as undefined spaces are neither planned nor designed. It could for instance be a piece of leftover land in between two residential areas, or as times change, a formerly planned area might be forgotten and left to its own.

At Volvo Construction Equipment outside Eskilstuna a wide range of heavy equipment machines are developed that are used by a variety of industries worldwide. For the handling and maintenance of these machines a deep knowledge is often required. Volvo CE and their dealer Swecon offer courses for both drivers and technicians that last for 1-2 weeks. Out on the workplaces however, the knowledge from these courses need to be supplemented with information from the machine?s operator and repair manuals.

De åtgärder som krävs för att öka produktionen ska identifieras. Vid utförandet av arbetet har bland annat teorier inom statistik och Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) använts. Arbetet inleddes med att en tidsstudie genomfördes samtidigt som kännedom om linan gavs genom observationer av arbetet.

In Sweden today many municipalities and sport clubs chooses to build artificial turfs becauseof the increased period of using the turfs during the year and less maintenance requirementsthan for natural grass fields. What could be problematic with artificial turfs is the rubbergranules used as infill material in the turf matt. The rubber granules are often made fromrecycled tires, which may contain for the human health and the environment, harmful substances.This was the reason why the Swedish Chemicals Agency commissioned a statusreport in 2006 which, among other things, concluded that the environmental and health risksassociated with granules made from recycled tiers in artificial turf fields were small, but thatthere could be a local environmental hazard. The purpose and objective of the risk assessmentwas to identify how artificial turf plans granules can affect recipients in the area closeto the pitches and provide input to reduce the spread of metals and substances harmful forboth human health and the surrounding environment. The work was divided into three parts:(1) the construction of artificial turf pitches and their material content, the spread of granulatesoutside the fields and disposal of artificial turf pitches.
