Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka om en högre risk ger en fondsparare i PPM högre avkastning vid ett långsiktigt fondsparande och om den avkastningen speglar den risk spararen tar.Metod: En kvantitativ studie som är baserad på sekundärdata, som är inhämtad från Morningstar. 60 pensionsfonder analyseras från tre olika riskkategorier, med en mätperiod på 10 år. Frågeställningarna har besvarats med hjälp av relevanta teorier, hypotesprövning och korrelationsanalys.Slutsats: Efter att ha undersökt dessa PPM-fonder så kan man väl konstatera att en högre risk ger en högre avkastning. Däremot speglar inte avkastningen ökningen i risk, förvisso har högriskfonderna bäst sharpkvot men lågrisk fonderna har bättre än medelriskfonderna, vilket betyder att vi inte kan säga att avkastningen i förhållande till risken blir lika bra eller bättre för att du ökar ditt risktagande..

Working with health-management has become something most organizations would describe as essential for being legitimate today. The aim of this thesis is to investigate how this subject is handled in an existing company and how this work is percieved by the employees in the organization. Due to the fact that limited research has been conducted on this issue, we see this thesis as a potential for increasing the understanding of how health management is articulated in practice. Our results show that health management in our studied organization is far reaching in comparison with most organizations, but has room for improvement according to the Integral Theory. The consequence of differences in perceptions between management and employees could result in that health management does not become an integral part of the company and its daily operations to the potential extent..

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka konsekvenserna för ett företag som uppvisar en oren revisionsberättelse. Metod: Kvalitativ metod har använts för att uppfylla uppsatsens syfte. Primärdata har samlats in genom semistrukturerade intervjuer med representanter från var och en av intressegrupperna, kreditgivare, skatteverket och ekobrottsmyndigheten. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the process and consequences of a shift in business model for a consultant by using a methodology based on action research. A business is always dependent on its customers. It is therefore important to ensurethat customers are satisfied with the product and the warranty included.The study was conducted in cooperation with the building contacting companySkanska Sweden. The aim is to use interviews to collect and process experiences in order to answer the question: How should the recovery process in the construction industry be performed to ensure a professional handling of warranty? The results have shaped my conclusions and I have turned them into a proposal that companies in the industry can benefit from. The study indicates that the industry is not geared for a five year warranty, which was introduced in 2004 and 2006.

This master thesis is developed based on the desire of the water and sewage department in the municipality of Karlskrona. The department, which vouches for the quality of produced drinking water and sewage cleaning, was in need of help dealing with risk analysis.The water and sewage department is obliged to identify and assess risks according to Swedish legislation. However, no guides for this purpose regarding safety, health, environment and quality were available. The aim of this report was to accomplish a guideline for the performance of risk analysis within water and sewage plants. If the guideline is used, the requirements in the legislation will be obtained.

The purpose of this study was to review a group of youths in a municipality which all had committed criminal acts. The study is based on 66 youths between the ages of 13 and 20 that were all matters for the social services. The social inquiries of the youths where reviewed using a quantitative method. Their backgrounds where examined to identify what type of risk factors they had and what type of crimes they had committed with an aim to detect if there were a relationship between the risk factors and the art of the crime. The result of the study showed that the majority had committed crimes against another person and the risk factors included family related factors and school problems.

The manufacturing industry is currently in a short-term downturn while the competition is increasing. The result of this is that companies must find new ways to bring out their products. Traditional competitive strategies, such as low pricing, is not sufficient today as the customer is inquiring something more than just a good product. Higher demands are presented on an accurate, well functional, communication between customer and companies, as this has become an important strategic factor in achieving long-term profitability.The aim of this independent project was to analyze and evaluate the communication process between a company and its sales companies.In order to illustrate this process, a case study was carried out at Alfa Laval, their sales companies and employees at their distribution center in Tumba. In order to see the differences in attitudes between the management, the sales companies and the employees regarding communication and involvement a gap analysis were used.The theoretical part of the study considers theories about business mission, communication, involvement, quality and creating value.The result showed that a smaller gap exists between the sales companies and the management while a slightly larger one exists between the employees and the management.
