LRF Konsult is a big consulting-firm with offices located all over Sweden. The corporation offers a wide range of services and a lot of the customers are small businesses active within the green sector. An analysis of the corporation made in 2006 showed that one of LRF Konsults weaknesses is that many customers are unaware of the wide range of services that LRF Konsult offers. The internal communication is believed to play a big role in marketing these services. Therefor, the objective of this thesis has been to investigate why the transfer of customers between accounting consultants and business advisors is not greater and how this can be improved.

Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to examine how students who also serve as writers of bachelor theses mainly utilizing the discourse analysis methodology comprehend the method of discourse analysis, and in what way the students bestow it in their research.Methodology and Material: This is a case study of the theses, which are also the text material, as it can be used examining numerous cases. Another beneficial factor is the relationship to the theoretical framework. And also which arguments the politicians performed on both issues. The study was based on the protocol 2011/12:91 from the parliamentary debate in Sweden. The aim of the study was to examine political standards is identified according to parenting and family in the assisted reproduction and surrogacy debate.

Background: There has been an increase in savings and investment in recent years along with an increased interest in responsible investments. Ethical mutual funds has developed and gained increasingly popularity.Aim: The aim of the study is to examine if ethical mutual funds are an equivalent alternative to traditional mutual funds in terms of return, risk and risk-adjusted return on the Swedish stock market.Theory: Beta, Jensen's Alpha, Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio, and Modern Portfolio Theory.Method: Quantitative survey method, a statistical study.Conclusion:The study concludes that there is no significant difference between ethical and conventional mutual funds in terms of return, risk and risk-adjusted return. The small differences that exist between the two fund groups are in favor of the ethical fund group, indicating that funds is a comparable investment option compared to traditional mutual funds..

Patienter som är malnutrierade eller risk för sådan kan vara svåra att identifiera inom sjukvården, vilket i det postoperativa förloppet kan leda till komplikationer. Syftet med denna studie var att belysa vilken påverkan malnutrition kan ha på det postoperativa förloppet efter kirurgiskt ingrepp samt vilket tillvägagångssätt som används för att identifiera patienter med risk för malnutrition. Metoden var en litteraturstudie som granskade 10 vetenskapliga artiklar. Artiklarna hittades i PubMed, MedLine och Science Direkt. Resultatet visar att screeningmetoder som kan skilja på den underliggande sjukdomen och malnutrition är mer tillförlitliga. Behandlingen blir mer effektiv eftersom orsaken till malnutritionen identifieras och kan åtgärdas. Risken för komplikationer ökar ju mer malnutrierade patienterna är.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka varför triadiska köpprocesser avbryts och vilken som är den vanligaste anledningen till att detta sker. Vi vill få svar på om brist på tillit och upplevd risk, låg användarvänlighet eller bättre alternativ är anledningar till att triadiska köpprocesser avbryts. Vi undersöker även vilken av dessa tre anledningar som är den vanligast förekommande orsaken till att triadiska köpprocesser avbryts. Den empiriska datainsamlingen görs på e-handelsföretaget HinnerDu.se. Det teoretiska ramverket används som grund för den kvalitativa undersökningen som består av 30 intervjuer med personer som enligt empiriföretaget avbrutit köpprocessen på hemsidan.

Approximately 400 people in Sweden die each year by lung cancer caused by radon gas. Authorities have in recent years invested big resources and organized campaigns to encourage people to take action against high occurrence of radon in residences. With low frequency of applications for radon allowances as the main measure, a lot interprets on a very low commitment. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate the reasons for the low commitment among people. The study is based on a questionnaire survey sent to 444 house owners in Uppsala.

This study concerns how Muslims are portrayed in a choice of twelve news articles from Swedish dailies and tabloid newspapers on the aftermath of the film Innocence of Muslims published on YouTube. All articles are distributed in the newspapers Aftonbladet, Expressen, Dagens Nyheter and Svenska Dagbladet in the period of September 11th, 2012 until September 30th, 2012.For this study, a qualitative text analysis has been embraced and focus has been on van Dijk?s Critical discourse analysis to the texts, with additional features from semiotics applied on the images.The theories consist of Critical discourse analysis, hegemony, ideology and power, postcolonialism and stereotyping.In the qualitative content analysis, concrete examples from the articles are retrieved and commented. These have been divided into various themes, which are trends that the authors have been able to distinguish in the analysis.The result shows that Muslims in the analyzed newspapers are portrayed as the others, unimportant and extremely religious, in a negative manner rather than a positive. Moreover the press has tendencies to generalize Muslims as a group.

This paper addresses the role of homework within the home and school environments using a qualitatively approach inspired by discourse analysis method and theory. The paper considers three newspaper articles to identify current attitudes and understanding regarding homework?s role. The paper?s structure brings results and analysis together allowing the discussion to be continuously extended and deepened.

This thesis is a case study with a qualitative approach. The company examined is The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) making user interfaces for mobile phones. The company has had a growth of 1453% from 2002 until 2006. We have examined what are the key factors for keeping innovation while growing. The most significant factor not supporting innovation within the case company is the will to take calculated risks.

Many companies today are investing in various computer-based tools to support their planning, decision making or communication processes. However, end users are often reluctant to accept the available information systems, which mean that these investments are extremely risky. Understanding why users choose to accept or reject an information system has proved to be one of the most challenging problems in this research area. Previous studies have focused on users' beliefs and attitudes regarding use intentions, but the results have, however, been both mixed and incomplete. In this study, I have used the Swedish youth? s use intention of mobile banking and a quantitative study was performed based on five different hypotheses derived from previous studies.

Huvudhypotesen i detta examensarbete lyder "en persons mentala belastning ökar om hon/han upplever att risken ökar", oberoende av de krav uppgiften ställer, dvs uppgiftens svårighetsgrad.Undersökningen utfördes som ett experimentet med inomgruppsdesign och 24 försöksdeltagare. Två oberoende variabler med vardera två nivåer användes: Konsekvens, normal/ökad och Information om svårighetsgrad, normal/ökad. Dessa var avsedda att manipulera riskuppfattning.

With the prospect of future construction on the Skutskär Pulp Mill property, Stora Enso Fine Paper has initiated an investigation of soil contaminants and a risk assessment of these contaminants. A soil and groundwater investigation has therefore been conducted on an open area of about 16 000 square meters, situated between the current wood room and digester house. To be able to integrate this study into an investigation for the whole industrial property, the study has been carried out as a phase 2 study according to the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency?s Methods of Inventories of Contaminated sites (MIFO).The site investigation has involved soil and groundwater sampling, together with the analysis of heavy metals and organic contaminants. The degree of hazard posed by the contaminants, the level of contamination, the potential for migration of the contaminants, as well as the degree to which protection of human health and the environment is required in the area, have been weighed together for an overall risk assessment of the area with regard to human health and the environment.The investigated area was built up by filling in the coastal waters.

Thesis purpose: The purpose of the master thesis is to analyse the battle of meaning creation regarding the notion of smoking and to reveal the production of unequal power relations. The battle is fought by different stakeholders through means of language and the study focuses on the tobacco industry in Germany. Methodology: A critical discourse analysis is applied with a qualitative research strategy. Our data collection was inspired by grounded theory and is limited in scope through a relevant case within the context of smoking in Germany. Empirical data is collected by means of an internet based document study of publicly available texts.
