Background:Companies of today commonly search to gain competitive advantages throughout different forms of co-operation, one of which is referred to as Supply Chain Management. Although little research has been assigned to the topic of how to manage and control this type of relation, lately a growing number of academics has been arguing that ABC is an appropriate mean of controlling this type of relationships.Purpose:The purpose of this thesis is to investigate to what degree the ongoing debate on the use of ABC as a mean of control within SCM correspond to the present theories related to ABC and SCM respectively.Research method:The thesis takes it?s starting point within the literature, meaning that the empirical information consists of published articles in the ongoing debate. This information is put in relation to the original theories concerning both topics.Conclusions:The results shown in the thesis in some content agrees with the ongoing debate referring to the positive aspects that could result from using ABC as a mean of control within SCM. However the main result of the study is the discovery of a lack of discussion concerning the problems that implementing ABC within SCM might implicate, a fact that we believe contributes to the mainly positive view on using ABC within Supply Chain Management..

Den djupstudie som projektgruppen genomfört visar på tydliga generaliserbara grundläggande lärdomar om kopplingarna mellan den lilla och den stora organisationen. Initialt döljs de principiella likheterna mellan projektarbetet och företaget av de betydande skalskillnader och verksamhetsskillnader som föreligger. Gruppen kunde dock vinna insikt i dessa likheter över tid i arbetet. De likheter som identifierades tycks kunna kategoriseras i fem framgångsfaktorer, alla gemensamma för den lilla och den stora organisationen. Framgångsfaktorerna kan delas in i externa respektive interna faktorer.

In this paper the authors are trying to understand what separates men from women when they save and invest their money. But also what factors that influence them in their decisions. To investigate how men and women actually act when investing their money the authors construct a survey. The authors also turn to the Swedish banks for information on how they think there customers are behaving. The authors find that men are more risk- taking than women and therefore invest more in products with higher risk, for example shares.

During its lifetime, a road goes through a number of different stages; pre-study,inquiry of the road, work plan, documenting stage, building stage and operatingstage. The operating stage is the one that takes the longest time and costs themost. Those have a tendency of becoming unnecessarily high because the projectengineers don?t always take the management and maintenance prerequisites intoconditions.To decrease the management and maintenance costs, the Swedish RoadAdministration SouthEast has been in need of a work procedure that makes theroaddesign engineers take the management and maintenance of the road intoconsideration. This shall be achieved by a checklist where the most commondesigns that lead to increased management- and maintenance costs are compiledand listed.Through interviews with project leaders in management, the most commonproblems have been identified, analyzed and summarized under the headlineswinter-road, vegetation, road equipment and road designs.To elucidate the problem from several points of view, interviews wereimplemented with project leaders in investment and roaddesign engineers.

Syfte: Vårt syfte är att beskriva och analysera den nya typen av lån som kommit upp på den svenska marknaden, seniorlån. Vi kommer att undersöka villkoren för utlåning enligt de olika långivarna som handhar produkten seniorlån. Vidare kommer också en internationell jämförelse att göras med USA och Storbritannien där motsvarande produkt funnits längre än i Sverige. Metod:För att uppfylla vårt syfte har vi valt att använda oss av en abduktiv metod vilket har gjort att vi inte känt oss begränsade utan vi har både kunnat tillämpa den insamlade empirin samt studera teorier på ett bra sätt. Vår primärdata är insamlad genom intervjuer med berörda långivare samt genom en enkätundersökning till allmänheten.

This report is focused on a research to find out if the Customer Relation Management (CRM) of Quicknet AB works and if their customers are satisfied with it. During this investigation I tried to see if the customers had a need for taking the CRM and use a tool called Social CRM. The report will conclude if the clients of Quicknet think that there is something that can be done in the relation between both parts and how it can be improved. At the same time I am going to build an application which relates to the problems of this report.To solve the problem I am going to do a survey which will include the CRM and also try to find out if the customers of Quicknet share the same thoughts about having a Social Customer Relation Management. Also if this survey shows what the customers think about the CRM, it could improve the relation between Quicknet and themselves. The result from the survey showed two things.

Higher demands of competitiveness and efficiency have led to increasing sizes of farms, with more land, more capital and more comprehensive logistics. The aim is to gain benefits of scale economies that reduce the production cost per unit. However, a greater extent of the business exposes the farm of increased risk where small deviations rapidly can erase the benefits. A modern dairy farm thus put high demands on the farmer?s ability to coordinate, plan and manage the forage production through the whole process until storage to obtain silage of the desired quality and quantity at the right price. Background: There has been an increase in savings and investment in recent years along with an increased interest in responsible investments. Ethical mutual funds has developed and gained increasingly popularity.Aim: The aim of the study is to examine if ethical mutual funds are an equivalent alternative to traditional mutual funds in terms of return, risk and risk-adjusted return on the Swedish stock market.Theory: Beta, Jensen's Alpha, Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio, and Modern Portfolio Theory.Method: Quantitative survey method, a statistical study.Conclusion:The study concludes that there is no significant difference between ethical and conventional mutual funds in terms of return, risk and risk-adjusted return. The small differences that exist between the two fund groups are in favor of the ethical fund group, indicating that funds is a comparable investment option compared to traditional mutual funds..

PURPOSE: By analysing collected data using theory, we aim to interpret the design, implementation and the usage of BSC in NPO?s to be able to contribute to the research. Everyone can help to counteract the enhanced Greenhouse effect by reducing the amounts of energy they use and by not consuming more products then they need.Schools are some of societies many consumers and therefore contribute to the Greenhouse effect. The School also has an important task; to teach and disseminate knowledge and information about the climate and the environment. According to the Swedish National Agency for Education, Skolverket, must all schools regularly consider the environment and sustainable development throughout the entire education process. Unfortunately, this is not the case for many schools in Sweden today.One of many tools that can be used to coordinate environmental work and initiatives, and also to make it more efficient, is environmental management systems.

Deep litter is a system for animals kept in separate stalls, loafing and bedding in wind shelters. The litter can consist of different bedding, like straw and peat. The system is allowed to build over and to ensure optimal proportions it is necessary to add new straw regularly and to have good conditions. Important conditions are aerobic state, humidity, amount of organic substance and acceptable temperatures in the litter. The micro organisms are depending on temperature for their living conditions and to get the bottom layer in the litter to start burning.

En upprörd patient sitter i väntrummet på en akutmottagning. Patienten har väntat på vård i flera timmar och äntligen kommer en sjuksköterska in. Patienten reser sig upp och bereder sig på att följa med. Tyvärr utropar sjuksköterskan någon annans namn och den väntande patienten frågar undrande: ?Ursäkta, när är det min tur?? Problem:Vi anser att det finns problem i arbetsprocessen på akutmottagningen som orsakar att patienten får vänta onödigt länge.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att, med utgångspunkt från bostadsrättsföreningars årsredovisningar, ta reda på vilka risker som finns med att köpa en bostadsrätt samt hur stora dessa är. Vi vill även jämföra olika föreningar för att se vilka skillnader som uppstår och vad dessa beror på. I uppsatsen används vetenskapssynen fenomenologi eftersom det är mycket likt det tillvägagångssätt vi har valt. Den kvalitativa metoden är också central i denna uppsats, då både en analys av bostadsrättsföreningars årsredovisningar samt intervjuer är baserade på denna metod.
