Arbetsmarknaden är idag ansträngd. Faktorer såsom effektivisering av organisationer, skepsis mot att nyanställa samt hög arbetslöshet medför att konkurrensen om arbetena har ökat. Därtill är sjukskrivningstalet högt. Långvarig sjukskrivning kan medföra mänskligt lidande bland annat på grund av att individen kan uppleva känslor av utanförskap samt otrygghet som ett resultat av att denne går miste om den gemenskap som vanligtvis återfinns på arbetsplatsen. Hög sjukfrånvaro genererar samtidigt höga kostnader för den statliga kassan.

Survey of regulations concerning pesticides in Sweden and the EU : cultivation techniques and competition aspects for Swedish onion and apple producer

As a member of the EU, Sweden has, in some cases, transferred the controlling Rights to the Union. This means that the rules defined by the EU must be followed in all member countries, including Sweden. The European Agricultural policy constitutes the largest part of the EU's annual budget and is in contrast to many other areas fully funded at EU level. The last decade, many new regulations on chemicals and pesticides have been introduced which brought great changes and a lot of work throughout the Union, including Sweden. Sweden has always had a strict policy on chemicals and has been at the forefront when it comes to sustainable agriculture and environmental management.

Abstract The people of Colombia suffer from a deep spiral of internal conflicts and unstable social conditions. The aim of this study is to highlight inequality in Colombia by applying Charles Tilly?s theory of durable inequality through categorical pairs. A qualitative method is applied in order to gain deeper insight to inequality in Colombia. The essay examines the phenomenon by completing a content analysis.
