Companies today are exposed to a turbulent market with fierce competition and the ability toinnovate itself becomes increasingly important. But what innovation is and how it is managed is farfrom obvious. In this case study at EVRY the research questions are: ?What is innovation in ITconsultant companies?? and ?how can innovation be managed in IT consultant companies?? ITconsultancy is a complex type of business and their focus is often to innovate the customers businessrather than their own. The study is based on a literature review, field studies, unstructuredinterviews and an interpretive analysis.

Ekonomisk information och effektivitet - Den ekonomiska informationsspridningens betydelse i ekonomistyrningen

Företag använder sig alltmer av ekonomisk information för att motivera sina anställda till ökad prestation på arbetsplatsen. Teorin menar att spridning av ekonomisk information medför delaktighet och på så vis blir motiverade att göra sitt yttersta på arbetsplatsen vilket i sin tur ska medföra att företagens effektivitet ökar. Är tillhandahållande av ekonomisk information en motiverande faktor? Studien visar att tillgång till ekonomisk information gör att de anställda känner sig delaktiga men att det inte alls behöver betyda att motivationen ökar. It is important, for companies operating on a homogeneous product market, to understand and adapt to customer needs. Since coffee is a homogeneous product in food retail it is vital for coffee companies to work extensively with differentiation and the fierce competition. The prevailing homogenity makes it difficult for companies to develop the product itself and must therefore work to create added value to the product.The purpose of this thesis is to carry out a study on consumer decision-making when purchasing homogeneous products, and to examine how companies work to strengthen their brand and gain market share in a homogeneous product market. The market that this thesis highlights is the coffee market.To answer the purpose of this thesis the writers have conducted a questionnaire survey regarding consumers? decision-making process and interviewed two marketing managers for two major actors on the coffee market.

Large companies in today?s business environment are to a great extent depending on their credit score by rating institutes like Moody?s and Standard & Poor?s. There is however indications that these big institutes are not always rating companies accurately. This is why this thesis aims at developing a new credit rating model, CRITA-Score, with the objective of determining a company?s financial health more accurately.

Industriell marknadsföring ? varumärkets betydelse för inköp inom byggbranschen

Syfte: Då vi har funnit att en stor del av tidigare forskning kring varumärken fokuserar på konsumentmarknaden vill vi närmare undersöka varumärkets betydelse i en industriell kontext.Metod: Vi har genomfört en kvalitativ undersökning genom ostrukturerade och öppna intervjuer. Vi utgick från våra respondenters svar och analyserade därefter svaren med hjälp av relevanta teorier. Undersökningen har således en induktiv ansats med ett tolkande synsätt. Teoretiska perspektiv: I vår teoretiska bas har vi samlat teorier från tre olika ämnesområden; nätverksbyggande och relationsmarknadsföring, inköpsteorier samt varumärkesteorier. Dessa tre områden ligger till grund dels för vår egen förståelse för ämnet samt för hur vi tolkar och analyserar det empiriska materialet.Empiri: Vårt empiriska material består av tio djupgående intervjuer på totalt fem företag.

The construction and maintenance of a brand plays just like the communication a very important part. These parts also have a lot to common and affect each other in a large extent. Expander is one of those companies and in this research report we studied communication and brand building, focusing on brand management, relationships and integrated marketing. Here we drew the conclusion that all these areas are important for a company, especially in the Business-to-Business marketing in different ways.

Recently, retailers within the Swedish grocery retail sector have launched lines of products under its own brand, quite often produced by manufactures within the same category of products. The common term of this phenomenon is called private labels. Therefore, private labels could be seen as competitors against branded goods, despite the fact that it is, in several cases, the same manufacturer who produces each of the products.The main purpose of this study is to provide understanding of how the manufacturers choose to position themselves, formulate their strategies and compete on the market among private labels, also to examine the motive behind the manufacturer's choice to produce private labels. The study intends to provide a broader view of how the interaction between manufacturers, retailers, private labels and branded goods appears on the Swedish market. We decided to use a qualitative research method and personal interviews to approach the study.

They need a suggestion for configuration for how the system and the application can work together. The work presented in this report is a suggestion for how you can make business configuration of an IT-based Treasury System in general. The exact configuration for the case received from If is presented as a separate report, found in Appendix A and is called the If-report. The If-report presents the suggested technical set-up of the configuration.

Möbelbranschen - hur små företag kan överleva på den svenska marknaden

The furniture retail industry in Sweden has gone trough large changes during the last decades. Today the industry is tough and in the maturity stage where few new companies enter, especially if they do not have a unique offer. The furniture companies have become larger and fewer, the changes have lead to difficulties for smaller and medium sized companies to grow and be profitable.Our purpose is to analyse, evaluate and compare three smaller companies in Stockholm with the intention to find what kind of marketing strategies they are using to survive on the Swedish market. First we interviewed the three companies to see what they do to survive on the market, then we asked 100 persons to fill in a questionnaire to see if they had the same opinion as the companies described.With help from theories we prepared questions which laid the foundation to the empirical part of the essay.The result from this study shows that the three companies differ from each other when it comes to using relationship marketing and placing the customer in the centre. All of them are aware of the importance of doing so, but because of different limits and possibilities they can not fully adjust everything to the customer.
