Destinationsutveckling - perspektiv på samarbete och attityder i nätverk. En fallstudie av Nyköping

Tema: Destinationsutvecklingsproblematiken handlar framförallt om svårigheterna att enas och agera utifrån en gemensam vision. Turismbranschen är starkt fragmenterad och uppfattningarna är många och olika beroende på utifrån vems perspektiv man betraktar fenomenet. Ambitionen är därför att belysa ett alternativt perspektiv på destinationsutvecklingsarbetet genom att se till samarbetsprocesser och attityder i nätverk.Frågeställning: Hur kan en positiv destinationsutveckling skapas i praktiken?Syfte: Det överordnade syftet med uppsatsen är att få kunskap om och förståelse för vad som skapar destinationsutveckling i praktiken. Vidare ska detta även leda till en förståelse för turistorganisationens betydelse för en positiv destinationsutveckling.Metod: Studien är av en teorialstrande natur och är utformad för att genom befintlig teori undersöka empirin och skapa ny kunskap om destinationsutveckling ur ett nätverksperspektiv.

VAD ÄR VÄL EN DAG PÅ SLOTTET? Ett möte mellan design och museipedagogisk verksamhet

The project objective was to make parts of our cultural heritage available as a resource for learning, by developing the pedagogical activities on a medieval castle, that today functions as a museum. I also wanted to explore the role of a designer in a process that aims to develop the interaction between schools and cultural institutions.By a selection of objects and locations in the castle, illustrations with accompanying texts were made, which through the children?s imaginative ability may bring them to a historical scenario. This resulted in a working material that supports the children?s activities and reflections during their visit to the castle.

Industrilandskapet i Norrköping : Synen på ett områdes förändring från ett industriområde till turistisk resurs

Industrilandskapet is an area in central Norrköping who has undergone major changes during the 1900s. The area has in recent decades gone from being an important industrial area into a place that today is focused on knowledge production and visit activities. This study focuses on how four selected businesses in Norrköping look at the change that Industrilandskapet has undergone. The four businesses all have in common that they use and care of Industrilandskapet in both marketing and as a working place. The businesses are in this study represented by four informants who were interviewed with semi-structured interviews.The results from the informants are analyzed by support of theoretical points.

The aim of our study was to examine Swedish crime reporters? approach to the social medium Flashback. Our main focus was the crime reporters? use of the medium Flashback, and attitude towards their own use of media ethics in relation to the medium Flashback.Flashback as a medium is not obliged to any media ethics and lacks a legally accountable publisher. In the search for information about committed crimes people tends to visit Flashback for the information that the traditional media cannot offer.

Fitta mot fitta, kan STI smitta! : En queerteoretisk granskning av STI- information i Kalmar och Växjö.

Background:Several studies have shown there has been significant lack of knowledge about women who have sex with women cross infect each other with STIs. It has been less likely that women who have sex with women visit health care than heterosexuals, they often felt badly treated, invisible and did not always know where to turn in case of an STI. Objective: The objective was to examine if STI information from Kalmar and Växjö county websites and GCK-summit, targeted women who have sex with women. Method: With a queer theoretical perspective a critical discourse analysis was made by STI information on the internet. Results: Women who have sex with women have been excluded in the STI information currently available through Kalmar and Växjö county websites.

Samernas första politiska rörelse runt sekelskiftet i Sverige var startskottet, inte bara för samernas egen politiska organisation, utan också för en debatt kring samernas rasifierade identitet. Debatten kretsade kring rätten till land, och huruvida den skulle förbehållas endast nomadiserande renskötande samer, eller om rätten skulle inkludera alla samer oavsett levnadsuppehälle. Samtidens argumentativa klassificeringssystem satte samernas yrkesutövning främst, men med rasifierade premisser kring samernas temporala och spatiala tillhörighet. En av premisserna för argumentationen, samernas temporala tillhörighet, präglades ur svensk medias synvinkel av en stark tro på att samerna riskerade att försvinna. Jag argumenterar för att detta hade en rasbaserad logik i form av en anakronistisk tillhörighet utanför en (svensk) evolutionistisk tidslinje.

Vikten av att målgruppsanpassa butiksatmosfären: en studie om atmosfärens påverkan på konsumenter i modebranschen

Research in the FMCG sector shows that in-store atmosphere has a great impact on customer attitude and behavior. Despite this, there is a lack of knowledge regarding how the atmosphere influences the customer in a fashion store setting. The purpose with this paper is to investigate if and how visible in-store atmospherics influence customer attitude and behavior in a fashion store setting. We also investigate if behavior and attitude is affected by the customer's expertise and the purpose of the visit. The study takes place in two different fashion stores within the same fashion chain.

På vilka sätt kan bibliotek vara användarvänliga för människor med dyslexi?

The purpose of this study is to find out how libraries can be user-friendly to people with dyslexia by focusing on how adult dyslectics experience the library. Data were collected through literature and interviews with adult dyslectic students. Two different types of user studies served as a theoretical framework; one was an individual-related study by professor Wilson and the other was a system-related one from professor Buckland. The findings in this study shows that dyslectic library users often experience difficulties when seeking for materials in the library, due to the libraries organisation of material according to the written language. Through technical aid and a more user-friendly organisation of materials it may be easier to find relevant material for dyslectics.

Du är vad du inreder - En kvantitativ studie om inredning i bostadsannonsers påverkan på köpintresse

The Swedish real estate market has experienced an intense increase of demand during the last ten years. Thus, people regularly visit real estate websites, as well as home improvement and interior design have become extremely popular. However, the Swedish real estate agencies still have not developed a theoretical framework on how to most effectively market the properties. The main purpose of this study was to investigate how interior in apartment advertising affects the buyer's interest in the apartment, and furthermore to start building a framework for how to effectively use interior as a marketing tool. The study connects theory regarding social identity, advertising effectiveness and product personality in order to investigate consumer behaviour in the real estate market.

Intäktsdrivare inom hotellverksamhet

Bakgrund och problem:Besöksnäringen sammansätts av olika branscher så som hotell-, restaurant-, fritids-,kongress- samt transportbranschen. Den anses vara en av de största branscher i världendär 3 % av den globala arbetskraften är direkt anställd inom övernattningsverksamheten.Hotellverksamhet karaktäriseras av bland annat höga fasta kostnader, kapacitetsproblemsamt oförmåga att lagra tjänsten. Dessa faktorer ställer speciella krav påekonomistyrningen inom hotellverksamheten. Tidigare forskning inom hotellverksamhetenhar fokuserat framförallt på kostnadssidan, prissättningen samt budgeteringoch intäktssidan har endast skrapats på ytan. Vi anser därmed att det finns ett öppetfält för en intressant forskning som leder till vårt syfte:Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att kartlägga och analyserar intäktsdrivare som påverkarintäkter inom hotellbranschen.

After repeated criticism of the social services about how they manage family care, the National Board of Health and Welfare decided to solve the problem by importing a model used in England (Integrated children's system). This was translated into Swedish conditions and named BBIC (Barns behov i centrum = Child?s needs at the center). Our study aims to investigate whether BBIC will contribute to more and more extensive follow-ups of children placed than before, with a focus on the child's best. This has been studied through qualitative interviews with six social workers who work with children investigations.

Folkbiblioteket i vardagslivet. En studie av folkbibliotekets betydelse för människor i vardagen

The aim of this Masters thesis is to examine the importance of public libraries for individuals in their everyday life and to study the differences in views between the individuals. Questions posed in this study are: What do public libraries mean to individuals? Which differences between individuals views of the public library are to be found? What is the reason for differences to occur? The analysis is based upon qualitative interviews with six persons, four women and two men between 31 and 55 years of age. The theoretical starting points are Anderson and Skot-Hansens theory of four different roles of public libraries and Bourdieus theory of lifestyle. The study acts on a hermeneutic attitude.

Liljedal Communication AB is a marketing company with twelve employees in Örebro. In the marketing business is it extra important to work creatively to reach the target market with a message.Creativity is defined as the creation of new ideas where the idea is adequate, useful and feasible. Organisational creativity is created by individuals in the right environment for using their creativity. In this paper we present theories about creative individuals and the situation that affects their creativity. Furthermore theories are presented about different strategies that aim to increase creativity.

Vem läser vad och varför i bibliotekets tidskriftsrum?: En studie av tidskriftsläsandet i Västra Frölundas bibliotek.

The purpose of this study is to determine who visits the V Frölunda Library, Gothenbug,what magazines they read and why. The data presented in this thesis are collectedusing four methods: general observation and counting numbers of visitors, interviewswith 202 magazine readers, the completion of 1308 questiomaires regarding approximately350 maghes and interviews with more than 100 library visitors.The data indicates that men are significantly overrepresented among magazine readersas compared to the female visitors. These men are primarily from the white collar sectorof the community. This leads to a pronounced underrepresentation of the blue coIlarworkers. Young people visit the magazine room in the library at a rate about twice thatexpected from the population distribution.Women are primarily interested in magazines dealing with the home whereas men aremore interested in business, cars, boats and sports.
