Effektivisering av kravspecifikationsprocessen
The goal of this project was to make the requirement process at the Swedish
Coastguard more effective. The first step to achieve this was done by locating
bottle necks in the process with value stream mapping method. The result of
this study showed that the biggest restriction in the requirement process was
while examining older requirement documents to understand what elements were
suitable for the particular project.
This was followed by a study of literature, interviews and theory of Lean
Production with the ambition to investigate how the requirement process was
handled on other companies and how to improve the process on the Swedish coast
guard. This led to a number of potential enhancements of the process which
later was evaluated.
Requirements written by different people in different organizations were
analyzed in order to sort out if there were some similarities? which could be
used as standard elements in a future standardization of the process.

In 2009 transgendered persons were included in the Swedish law against discrimination. Prior to the inclusion a commission made an investigation of the necessity of such change in the law and how it could be designed. This essay focuses on the discourses regarding gender that appear in the law and the report written by the commission. Using theories by Judith Butler and discourse analysis inspired by Norman Fairclough it identifies two main discourses regarding gender: a two gender discourse and a queer discourse. The two discourses meet in the studied material in an antagonistic way, a conflict that is solved by separating the two and making one part of the law focus on gender and one on transgender.

Background: The basis for a price valuation of a company is dependent on both its assets net worth and earnings calculations. While the assets are an important part of the valuation of a company, it is important that the valuation is reliable and resource usage can be measured and allocated to each time period. Purpose: The purpose of this essay is to illustrate the difficulties when valuating and allocating own produced fixed assets. Accomplishment: We have chosen a case study where the aims are to understand and explain the difficulties with valuating and allocating own produced fixed assets. The research is based on nine personal interviews.
Simulated Annealing : implementering mot integrerade analoga kretsar
Today electronics becomes more and more complex and to keep low costs and power consumption, both digital and analog parts are implemented on the same chip. The degree of automization for the digital parts have increased fast and is high, but for the analog parts this has not come through. This have created a big gap between the degrees of automization for the two parts and makes the analog parts the bottleneck in electronics develop. Research is ongoing at Electronics systems group at Linköping University target the increase of design automization for analog circuits. An optimizationbased approach for device sizing is developed and for this a good optimization method is needed which can find good solutions and meet the specification parameters.

The purpose of this study is to examine the popular cultural form of television within the field of gender studies. The study focuses on the representation of masculinities in the American television series The O.C. This is done by using textual analysis to gain information from the first and the second season of The O.C. The theoretical framework used is based on Judith Butler and R.W. Connell.
Lärande i andra vågen : En studie om lärande inom företag efter implementering av nytt affärssystem
Introducing a new type of IT-structure means a change that employees within an organization must adapt to. Today, many companies have implemented information technology in the form of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems and find themselves in th so-called Second Wave stage where an after work is ongoing with continual improvement that involves changes that employees need to understand and act upon. To learn how to work with these recurrent misadventures is of importance because it is seen as a critical factor in order to take advantage of the ERP system and its benefits. To study this a study was conducted through personal interviews at Apoteksgruppen AB which a few years ago introduced a new ERP system. There the authors saw that employees learned in different ways depending on the position, and that the more responsibility this person had the greater freedom this person had to resolve their problems and therefore learned more effectively.
"Som syskon, fast ändå inte" : En studie av familjehemsföräldrars egna barns erfarenheter
The aim of this study has been to create an understanding for the situation of an often forgotten group in foster care, the carers? own children. Our main focus has been the experience this group has of foster care, their experience of participation in caring for the foster children and their possible need of support and help. Our chosen method has been qualitative interviews with six adult children of foster carers, two men and four women. The theory used in this study has been Sense of Coherence.Our interviewees gave mainly a positive description of being part of a foster family even though they could give examples of difficult situation and of loss.

These flows and the need for strategy and managing the processes of planning, implementing and control of the supply chain, has given name to the concept supply chain management. Supply chain management involves all movement and storage of raw material, and all the processes that is needed to manufacture a product from origin to consumption. Globalization, technology and increasing time and quality-based competition are all driving forces behind the concept and reasons for an increasing interest in supply chain management.The purpose of this essay is to by using a qualitative case study examine which decisive success factors that can be identified for effective supply chain management. We have compiled different theories on the subject to use for analyzing a case study Li & Fung, who is a successful supply chain management company.
Competence Management-system på Tetra Pak
Uppsatsen är baserad på en fallstudie gjord på Tetra Pak. Syftet med fallstudien var att utforma en lista med faktorer att som bör beaktas för att ett införande av ett Competence Management-system ska bli framgångsrikt. Tillvägagångssättet i fallstudien har varit en dokumentstudie och ett antal intervjuer. Använda teorier är hämtade från områdena Change Management, Knowledge Management, Competence Management och Human Resource Management. Undersökning resulterade i ett antal intressanta faktorer som bör beaktas.
Intranät för personliga assistenter : En studie av förutsättningar för effektiv informationshantering i vardagspraktik med stöd av IT
While designing an intranet for people with mobile work there are things you have to consider. This thesis is aim to bring understanding to the difficulties involved in these kinds of situations. Our focus is to develop ideas that motivate the assistants to use the intranet. We have looked into the profession of personal assistants and wish to highlight their problems to access the intranet. And we will as well demonstrate their needs for communication.
Lanczos potentialer i kosmologiska rumtider
We derive the equation linking the Weyl tensor with its Lanczos potential, called the Weyl-Lanczos equation, in 1+3 covariant formalism for perfect fluid Bianchi type I spacetime and find an explicit expression for a Lanczos potential of the Weyl tensor in these spacetimes. To achieve this, we first need to derive the covariant decomposition of the Lanczos potential in this formalism. We also study an example by Novello and Velloso and derive their Lanczos potential in shear-free, irrotational perfect fluid spacetimes from a particular ansatz in 1+3 covariant formalism. The existence of the Lanczos potential is in some ways analogous to the vector potential in electromagnetic theory. Therefore, we also derive the electromagnetic potential equation in 1+3 covariant formalism for a general spacetime.
Beslutsstöd för val av angreppssätt vid integrationsprojekt i SME
Denna studie avser att ge information och vägledning vid val av angreppssätt vid ett integrationsprojekt. Med angreppssätt avses facelift och convert som kan jämföras med Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) och Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). Det är idag en avsaknad på material angående val av angreppssätt vilket kan försvåra för en organisation att veta hur de skall angripa ett integrationsprojekt. Att genomföra denna undersökning är steg mot att ge organisationer vägledning om hur de skall angripa ett integrationsprojekt och vad som är viktigt att tänka på. Denna studie tar hänsyn till att integrera antingen genom att integrera existerande system med hjälp av middleware (facelift) eller att byta ut de existerande systemen mot ett ERP-system (Convert).

Antalet frivilliga ökar alltmer och därmed ställs det alltfler krav på frivilligledare/ledare inom ideella organisationer. Min förförståelse är att ledare inom ideella organisationer ska värna om de frivilliga, motivera, ?hålla lågan uppe? och stödja ?eldsjälarna?. Då det inte finns mycket skrivet om hur frivilligledare/ledare inom Röda Korset går tillväga för att leda frivilliga, är syftet med studien att belysa hur ledare inom en ideell organisation, Röda Korset, ?leder? de frivilliga som ingår i organisationen och hur ledarna ser på sitt ledarskap.
HR-PERSONERS BESKRIVNING AV BRA LEDARSKAP OCH HUR DE VERKAR FÖR BRA LEDARSKAP INOM ORGANISATIONEN
Personer som arbetar med human resource (HR) har ett samarbete med cheferna i organisationen. Föreliggande studie är kvalitativ, där personer som arbetar med HR beskriver bra ledarskap och hur de verkar för bra ledarskap inom organisationen, vilket även var studiens syfte att undersöka. Resultatet baserades på halvstrukturerade djupintervjuer med sex HR-personer. Resultaten tolkades genom en kombination av deduktiv och induktiv tematisk analys. Studien resulterade i åtta teman gällande beskrivning av bra ledarskap, vilka i diskussionen strukturerades upp till tre faktorer; personlig mognad, social kompetens och chefsförmåga.

Before that, the devices must be made to be able to withstand years of usage without having to change power source as that would be too costly. These devices are typically small, inexpensive and severally resource constrained. Communication is mainly wireless, and the wireless transceiver on the node is typically the most power hungry component.
