En Samhällsekonomiskt utvärdering av Uddevalla kommuns satsning på handelscentret Östra torp
There is an irregularity in the interregional migration in Sweden. An increasing proportion ofthe population is drawn to the metropolitan areas, which creates problems for the smallermunicipalities and towns when their population declines. At the same time, our whole societyis faced with a great challenge: we need to redirect towards a sustainable development, wherethe environmental issues are discussed and dealt with to secure that all present and futuregenerations are given equal opportunities to live a good life.The aim of this study is to, focusing mainly on the environmental dimension of thesustainability concept, examine the attractivity of housing with sustainability claims. Toanswer this, three research questions were used:? Was the migration motive to reduce their environmental impact a part of the decision tomove, among migrants who had moved to housing with sustainability claims?? If the motive was a part of the decision, how much impact did it have compared to othermigration motives?? Which factors in housing aiming at sustainability are considered important by peopleliving in housing with sustainability claims?The research questions have been answered using quantitative data, gained in the form of selfadministeredquestionnaires which were distributed in four different Residential areas withsustainability claims in the county of Västra Götaland, Sweden.
"Varför blev det så här?" : om utemiljön på Herrgården från 60-talet och framåt
The Residential yard at Kvarteret Landsfiskalen 1, in the area Herrgården in Rosengård, Malmö was built in 1971 and has since then been reconstructed twice, in 1984 and 2008. The yard is found in an area which was built during the years 1965 ? 1974, a period in which the swedish goverment approved a decision to build one million homes, and much of the events in this particular yard is also typical for the process in many other areas built during the same period.At the original construction the design of the yard was entirely incused by the pressure in time and finance, one was under at that time, in order to over- come the housing shortage. The design it has nevertheless been given, reflects the esthetic ideals of that time well.The building of the area was barely finished when the swedish authori- ties started handing out grants in order to support the rearmament of the outdoor environment in the areas built during the so called ?million program?.

?Här flyttas man hem till någonstans man kanske inte väljer? : Tankar och erfarenheter kring att ge stöd till personer med psykisk funktionsnedsättning på särskild boende
Bakgrund: Många personer med psykisk funktionsnedsättning har en upplevelse av låg livskvalitet. De har också en sämre utgångspunkt materiellt, ekonomiskt, socialt och hälsomässigt. Att beviljas insatsen särskilt boende innebär att få stöd, service och omsorg i sin vardagstillvaro. Tidigare studier har visat att för att ett stöd ska upplevas stödjande behöver personalen ha både kunskap och vissa egenskaper, lyssnande, medkännande och lyhördhet.Syfte: Att beskriva vårdpersonals erfarenheter och tankar kring hur man utformar vardagligt stöd till livskvalitet för personer som bor i särskilt boende.Metod: Halvstrukturerade intervjuer gjordes där sammantaget tio personal deltog från fem särskilda boenden. Som analysmetod användes kvalitativ innehållsanalys med induktiv ansats.Resultat: Personalens erfarenheter av att ge stöd till livskvalitet rörde sig inom tre olika områden.
Bergsbrunna södra : analys och programförslag
This final project includes an analysis and a programme proposal for the
area Bergsbrunna södra. The area is situated along the railway between
Uppsala ? Stockholm, just south of Uppsala city. A new railway station is
planned here, which make the area attractive as Residential area.
There are several values to take into consideration when developing an
area. An extensive analysis and valuation may define and protect different
characters and values, and also find the places most suitable to build
upon.
The area consists of three separate characters of landscape: the wide open
cultivated fields, the hilly wooden ground and the more varying little valley.
There are visual, cultural, social and ecological values to preserve.
The south part of the area is woods with high natural values that borders
to a national park in the natural forest of Lunsen.
Renovering av Säteriet, Råda - Från miljonprogram till attraktivt bostadsområde
The homes that were built in the 60?s - and 70's are now so dilapidated and worn that they need thorough renovations. These renovations are expensive to implement for the landlords, which means that the funding for these renovations can create problems. Currently there are no government subsidies for these renovations. This report will examine how Förbo performed the renovation of Säteriet.

The Civil Engineering office in Skellefteå needs to develop the users' participation
in the planning of parks and playgrounds. In order to get such a procedure
to work one have to find a method that can work in the daily activity. My
work aims to find such a method and to implement it in practice. Apart from
helping the Parks departement to find an functional method I will also develop
a deepened knowledge about users?participation wich can be very useful i my
future profession.
This work can be divided in three stages.

Population growth leads to an increased need for new buildings, both Residential and commercial. The regulations of structural design also changes with time. From a sustainable community perspective it may be profitable if existing buildings, that no longer performs their original function, are reconditioned. Knowledge and understanding of the surroundings of the residence must be available. Regulations regarding accessibility to all has increased.
Standardisering av brukarrelaterade indata för energiberäkningar på kommersiella lokaler
In this thesis, input data for energy performance calculations on commercialpremises have been studied. In energy performance calculations, where internal heat gain parameters are unknown, template values that, in a reasonable way represent the activity in the room, are necessary. These values can be used as input data for whole-year calculations, or for calculations on shorter periods of time.The purpose of the Sveby project is to create standardized work practice in energy issues for the construction industry. The work in this thesis is conducted to correlate with the purpose of the Sveby project, with aims of contributing with information and guidelines for the continuing work with commercial premises.In this report, suggestions for template values for internal gains parameters, based on research and calculations in the field are presented. Suggestions on how these can be implemented in a user-friendly way for two energy performance calculation software are also given, VIP Energy and IDA ICE.
ANALYS AV FLERBOSTADSHUS : Med inriktning på ytfördelningen över tiden
Currently, there are no clear statistics on how the floor plan and room size in apartment buildings has changed over time since the postwar period. The statistics available is average area per apartment which can be found on Statistics Sweden's website. This report has the aim to increase knowledge about how the Swedish home have changed over time.The questions that the report will answer are:For apartment buildings, how has the living area been distributed since the postwar period?Why has the area distribution changed over time?A survey of the houses built during 1950-2014 was made before questions could be answered. A case study was also made which a total of 90 apartments were analyzed and divided into three eras, the people´s home, the million programme and the neomodernism.
Boendes lägespreferenser : En studie om varför vissa bostadsområdens lägen i Halmstad blir populära
Problem: Forskning finns avseende vilka lägespreferenser köpare av småhus vanligen föredrar (Betts & Ely, 2008). Forskning finns även avseende hur marknadsföringspsykologi i form av varumärken påverkar konsumentens val av en vara (Arnold, 1993). Däremot har författarna till denna uppsats inte lyckats hitta annan forskning som kopplar samman marknadsföringsteori och bostadsområden, det vill säga hur varumärket påverkar köparens val av bostadsområde i samspel med praktiska faktorer. Studien vill även undersöka hur trendsättare som exempelvis kända personer och yrkesmän inom bostadsbranschen, kan påverka hur ett bostadsområdes efterfrågan kan komma att öka.Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka vilka faktorer som kan få ett bostadsområde att öka alternativt minska i attraktivitet.Metod: För att komma fram till syftet har både kvalitativa och kvantitativa undersökningar utförts. Genom att noggrant välja ut fastighetsmäklare verksamma i Halmstad, har det genom öppna intervjuer framkommit viktig kunskap om vilka trender som råder på bostadsmarknaden i Halmstad.
Boendesprinkler : Hur ska boendesprinkler projekteras och installeras för att undvika vattenskador och tillväxt av legionella?
Rapporten är sammanställd av två kandidatstudenter vid Kungliga tekniska högskolan på högskoleingenjörsprogrammet Byggteknik och design, i samarbete med Säker Vatten AB. Efter tre års studier är detta en examinerande rapport för utbildningen. Rapporten är ämnad för alla typer av läsare, men utan byggingenjörsexamen likt vår, eller med motsvarande kunskapsnivå så kan läsare uppfatta rapporten som svårläst.Metoden för rapporten har varit så att författarna kontinuerligt intervjuat aktörer med olika intressen för hur branschen utvecklar sig. Aktörerna i fråga har alla mångårig erfarenhet eller en relevant utbildning bakom sig. Litteraturstudier har gjorts av föreskrifter, standarder, normer och rapporter som behandlar boendesprinkler, rörförläggningar, legionella och vattenskador.
Green Building : Ett företags energieffektiviseringsarbete i ett byggprojekt samt de krav som ställs för att få byggnaden Green Building klassad.
The examination has been performed at Bjerking AB, which is an architectural and engineering company. Bjerking AB has the ambition to be a member of Green Building.The Green Building program developed in year 2005 by The European Commission, the program is an environmental system with the aim to improving energy efficiency within the sectors of non-Residential buildings. The minimum requirements to participate the program are following: in new-built buildings the calculated energy consumption must be 25 % lower than the requirements in the BBR (Building regulations) and in refurbishment the reduction must be 25 % lower than before the optimization.The aim of this study has been to examine and review the company Bjerking AB's energy efficiency work in the project of building the school/kindergarten S:ta Maria Alsike, where the goal is to get this building Green Building classed. A description of requirements to become a member of the Green Building has also accomplished in the thesis.The methods performed in this study are literature review, searches on the Internet, studies on the project database for facts/values, calculation of energy consumption and interviews of members of the Green Building. The following issues have been dealt with in the report;- Did the building in the project manage the requirement to achieve an energy consumption that is 25% lower than the requirements in BBR?- What technical measures/system was selected in the building?- What kind of cooperation was the project based on?- What is required for consultancy companies and real estate owners to become members of the Green Building?The study of the project and calculation of estimated energy consumption in the building, give the result 47 kWh/m2, year.
Fantastiskt, omväxlande, berikande! Ingen dag är den andra lik ! : "Arbete med ensamkommande barn"
Syftet med studien är att utveckla kunskap om hur personalen på boenden för ensamkommande barn utifrån empowerment arbetar med att möjliggöra de ensamkommande barnens delaktighet, inklusion och integration i samhället. Vidare syftar studien även till att belysa hur personalen på boenden själva ser på detta arbete. De frågeställningarna som belyses i studien är: Vad i arbetet med förhållningsätt skapar möjlighet till ensamkommande barns delaktighet i samhället, enligt personal på boenden för ensamkommande barn? Finns det skillnader mellan personal på HVB- boenden om vad man anser om att arbeta med delaktighetsfrämjande arbete? Om ja, kan dessa skillnader då förklaras med kön, ålder, utbildning, erfarenhet etc. av att arbeta med ensamkommande barn? Metoder som används i studien har en kvantitativ och kvalitativ ansats och innehåller en enkätundersökning och tre intervjuer gjorda med boendepersonalen i Kalmar län.

Energy issues are constantly increasing attention in today's society. People's impact on Earth isentered in more contexts. Many discussions are about how the entire social structure needs to bestreamlined in order to achieve sustainability. The Residential and service sector accounts for 39 % oftoday's total energy consumption in Sweden and the increasing electricity prices have made buyersmore interested in energy issues.There are many buildings in need of refurbishment today, including all the apartments that werebuilt in the 1970s to reduce the housing shortage at the time. 650 000 apartments of one millionapartments were built during the so-called the one million program and is currently in need ofrefurbishment.
