When Swedish authorities are to purchase or rent something, public procurement is used as a means to an end. Authorities as well as suppliers are subjects to the fact that Swedish law regarding public procurement regulates the form of procurement in one set of particular regulations (LOU) and the form of contracts in another set of general regulations (AvtL). Suppliers and purchasing authorities close a contract regarding the subject of procurement and the law of public procurement regulates when such a contract can be closed, simultaneously the law of contracts regulates when parties are held to contracts and when contracts are to be rescinded. I investigate in this essay what these two types of regulations can result in for the contracting parties. As it is today agreements that have been entered into wrongfully still are valid, even if a court of law nullifies the procurement and sentences the purchasing authority to make a new public procurement.

To work in an unpredictable work environment requires communication that functions well. In every organization it?s important that employees receive information that is relevant yet not confusing. Due to that, our ambition with this study is to understand how rescue effort organizations communicate in meetings; and whether their communication is clear or not. Our subject for this case study is the Emergency Services in the region of Karlstad.

Identitet har länge varit föremål för diskussion, både inom filosofi och inom juridik. Min avsikt var att försöka utröna om det finns ett sammband mellan hur filosofer respektive jurister identitesbegreppet, vad gäller ting jag har använt en text skriven av en nutida filosof för att försöka utröna hur filosoferna ser på identitesbegreppet. För att kunna utröna hur jurister ser på begreppet har jag studerat ett antal rättsfäll. jag har inte kunnat hitta några direkt synbara kopplingar mellan hur begreppet"identitet"används inom filosofin respektive inom juridiken. De har helt enkelt för olika utgångspunkter och för olika värden att tillvarata.

Detta examensarbete behandlar undervisningsmetoden infärgning. Infärgning kan beskrivas som en metod att öka intresse, motivation och förståelse för kärnämnen på yrkesförberedande gymnasieprogram. Rent konkret består metoden i att man använder kunskaper och annat som anknyter till elevernas karaktärsämnen som en del av sin kärnämnesundervisning. Nödvändigheten av detta visar litteratur, skolverksutredning samt styrdokument på. Syftet är att undersöka huruvida infärgning av ämnet samhällskunskap i en klass på ett yrkesförberedande program kan leda till ökat intresse, motivation och förståelse för ämnet.

Den här studien använder Agency-teorin och Stewardship-teorin för att undersöka hur motiverande ett Resultatandelssystem (RS) är för de anställda på en mindre svensk bank. Mer specifikt så undersöks hur påtagliga så kallade Free rider-problem är och vilka bakomliggande orsaker som påverkar vikten av sådana problem. Detta bygger på en rent kvalitativ undersökning baserat på intervjuer med anställda på Leksand Sparbank. Resultaten visar att förekomsten av Free rider-problem inte är så vanlig som Agency-teorin antyder och att detta beror främst på att monetära belöningar inte är den primära motivatorn på banken. Resultaten visar också att RSet inte motiverar på det sätt som det är tänkt, RSet har dock en del andra positiva egenskaper..

The collective agreement contains many important provisions concerning the relationship between employers and employees. When a collective agreement applies in the workplace, both employers and employees are bound by it. However, only employers of those two, can take part in the collective agreement, and therefore negotiate the content of it.The purpose of this study is to answer the following question: Why are rules that has been interpreted in collective agreements not expressed in writing? Therefore, the Swedish collective agreement system will be examined, and a distinction between types of silent regulations will be made to find causes. The potential for workers to act on a collective agreement with quiet regulations will also be examined.Collective agreements are signed on three levels: central, union and local levels.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate the points of view of three groups of actors about their local learning center and its collaboration with the library. By interviewing groups of actors from the municipal sector, the library staff and students, I aim to investigate their associations of the learning centre, what kind of services it should offer, and how they understand the role of the library staff in specific collaboration between the public library and the adult education administration. The study design is based on Gunnar Grepperud?s and Terje Thomsen?s three missions for a local learning centre; the mission of a broker, a meeting place and a motivator. I also use Carol Kuhlthau?s levels of mediation as an approach to investigate how the actors want the library staff to work in relation to the centre.

Syftet var att undersöka hur (elever och lärare på ?mellanstadiet? kan resonera kring elevinflytande) åtta elever i två fyror och deras klasslärare resonerar kring elevinflytande. Vi avsåg att undersöka om eleverna efterfrågar ökat inflytande över undervisningen som bedrivs samt hur deras lärare rent praktiskt arbetar med elevinflytande. Vi avsåg också att undersöka om det fria skrivandet skulle kunna vara ett sätt för pedagogen att främja ett utökat elevinflytandet. I de två klasserna valdes fyra elever samt deras klasslärare ut och intervjuades.

We wish to explore what are the meanings and implications of diversity for the employees of each company, how their discourses on diversity reflect hypocrisy in the organizations and if and how national context has an impact on discourse on diversity.Methodology: Interviews were conducted, transcribed and codified. Comparison and evaluation of the different discourses were examined around diversity and in the talk of interviewees within the two companies.

Previous research and patient complaints to the Swedish Patient Support Committee shows that there is a lack of substance in the patient-nurse relationship. This may suggest that it can be difficult for health care to live up to health-care law which requires it to be of good quality, based on dignity and respect and designed so that the patient is an active participant and can make their own decisions when it comes to their health care. For a better understanding of what a dignified patient-nurse relationship is, this study aims to clarify what the patient values as good patient-nurse relationship and describe how they have experienced the patient-nurse relationship during their stay at an emergency care department. The study is a descriptive cross-sectional study with a quantitative approach, where the population consisted of patients who were cared for at an emergency care department in the County of Västmanland, Sweden during 2007. The sample consisted of 93 patients which were asked to answer a questionnaire.

Om sjukhuskuratorns yrkesroll och funktion råder det en generell osäkerhet och oklarhet. Det finns således ett påtagligt behov av att klarlägga och definiera detta arbete. Denna uppsats avser därför att beskriva kuratorns arbete inom inriktningen för reumatologi samt att undersöka den metodiska aspekten av denna verksamhet. Uppsatsens syftar också till att påvisa kuratorns teoretiska grunder för det psykosociala arbetet. Studien tar sin utgångspunkt i följande frågeställningar:? Hur kan en problemsituation se ut för en reumatiskt sjuk patient?? Finns det några tydliga och beskrivbara tillvägagångssätt som kuratorn använder sig av i arbete med reumatologiskt sjuka?? Kan dessa tillvägagångssätt i så fall formuleras till en metodbeskrivning för kuratorns arbete?? Finns det några särskilda teorier som kuratorn anser vara behjälpliga i arbetet? Vilka är i så fall dessa?Studien har genomförts med hjälp av en kvalitativ metod där jag intervjuat fyra kuratorer vid två av Västra Götaland regionens reumatologiska kliniker.

Uppsatsen studerar hur arbetsmiljön på barn- och familjeenheten (BoF) på socialtjänsten i en kommun i mellersta Sverige, en enhet som har både hög arbetsbelastning och personalomsättning, ser ut. Studien utgår från fyra stycken intervjuer med socialsekreterare som har lång erfarenhet inom barn- och familjeenheten (BoF) i kommunen. Resultatet visar att arbetsbelastningen och stressen har ökat med tiden genom att personalen har fått förhålla sig till nya krav på arbetsplatsen och därför har tidspressen blivit större. Den höga personalomsättningen leder till rekrytering av ny personal, vilket påverkar den befintliga personalen. Den befintliga personalen introducerar de nya och får ta de tyngre ärendena, vilket slutligen ger mindre tid åt klientmöten.

If Swedish companies are to compete with companies in low-cost countries they have to achieve a more efficient production. The purpose of Total Productivity Maintenance (TPM) is to increase the company's profitability by increasing the productivity. TPM is a method that involves all employees and aims to prevent failures in order to increase the availability of existing equipment.The aim of this paper is to evaluate the implementation process of TPM and give recommendations for the further implementation process. The conclusion and the analysis are based on a case study done at a production department at ABB Cewe-Controls facilities in Nyköping. The case study consists mainly of qualitative data from participation observations, surveys and interviews.Commitment of the management is a key factor in the implementation process of TPM.

Cambodia, in Southeast Asia, has tropical monsoonal climate with distinct dry and rain seasons. Many people are poor and live in rural areas. Farmers mainly culture rice, and raise pigs, cattle and poultry as well. During two months, a minor field study was performed in Cambodia. The main purpose was to evaluate the impact of contributions done by projects that started in 2005 and were managed by the local organization CelAgrid.
