BackgroundSexual health is affected by disease, dysfunction and disability but can also be experienced in spite of illness. To get a deeper knowledge of what the nurse does for the patients the background is written with the support of the holistic care and Katie Eriksson theoretical perspectives health and suffering.AimThe aim of this study is to describe the factors to why nurses do not prioritize patients' sexual health in the nursing care.MethodA literature review based on nine qualitative and quantitative studies focusing on the barriers perceived by the nurses to address sexual health.ResultThe result of this study showed that the barriers were many. Factors related to nurses unwillingness to talk to patients about sexuality and sexual health were difficulties in nurses' psychosocial work environment and lacking competence concerning sexual health. The fact that sexuality is a sensitive subject, factors related to the patient and that it was someone else's responsibility to raise the topic were other factors that made it difficult.ConclusionWe conclude that a stressed workplace where there is a lack of time and stress along with a poor education and uncertainty leads to no grasp of the subject and the problem slides between health professionals. Patients' sexual health remains untreated.

The need for a more efficient electrical grid has made the smart grid concept popular in recent years. The aims of this study are to identify the conditions in Sweden for implementing a smart grid and to analyse the opinions of stakeholders. One finding is that the large capacity of Sweden?s existing electrical grid decreases the immediate need for smart grid solutions. However, the rapid increase in wind power might push the development of a smart grid in the coming years.

Background:Borderline personality disorder is a complex mental disorder that has become increasingly common in those individuals who seek care today. These individuals are often perceived as being different by society and the health care system, because of the prejudice and lack of knowledge that exists around mental illness and borderline personality disorder. Aim: Highlighting adults experiences of living with a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder. Method: Literature study with qualitative approach. Seven articles were chosen to be read, reviewed and analyzed.

Arbetsuppgiften var att ta fram rekommendationer på driftpraxis gällande argonspolning vid en efterbehandlingsstation på SSAB Tunnplåt AB i Luleå. Rekommendationerna skulle gälla tiden för slutspolningen efter att behandlingen av stålet, såsom tillsatser av råmaterial för att uppnå rätt kemisk analys samt temperaturjusteringar för att optimera gjutningen, var färdig. Syftet var att minska mängden oxidinneslutningar i EHS-stål som orsakar igensättning vid gjutningen, samt uppnå kundens förväntningar på rent stål. Insamling av prover (Total Oxygen Sample) och mätningar (syresond) har gjorts vid efterbehandlingsstationen, CAS-OB, och i gjutlådan. Med hjälp av proverna har syrehalten beräknats vid noterade spoltider.

Denna studie syftar till att granska forskning och litteratur kring skuld och skam med utgångspunkt i skuld- och skamkänslor och dess effekter. Problem som har uppkommit undervägs kommer att belysas, både hur studiens resultat formades och hur hela processen med studien påverkade mig rent personligen. Teorierna i studien är kopplade till skuld och skam med syfte att undersöka vad som påverkar och händer inom oss när vi känner och upplever skuld- och skamkänslor, samt vilka följder det kan medföra. Studien kommer att presentera metoder som skulle kunna bidra till skolans-, individens personliga- och samhällets utveckling, och avslutas med ett resonemang kring hur dessa metoder tillsammans med empati kan lösa upp känslor av skuld och skam..

På senare tid har flertalet rättsfall kring transpersoners rättigheter dykt upp och haft policyförändrande karaktär. Syftet har därför varit att bringa förståelse för detta fenomen, där en fallstudie genomförts gällande avskaffandet av tvångssteriliseringarna av transpersoner, vilket avskaffades genom en dom. Fokus har legat på de påverkansstrategier som använts för att avskaffa tvångssteriliseringarna, för att se om domstolsvägen är en ny strategi för transrörelsen och vad som i så fall har möjliggjort denna. Jag kom fram till att det är en medveten strategi från HBTQ-rörelsen och att judikaliseringen i samhället, alltså att domstolarna blivit mer politiska, verkar ha spelat en roll för att göra denna väg möjlig. Judikaliseringen har öppnat upp rent systemmässigt och idémässigt för att driva transpolitiska frågor den rättsliga vägen som mänskliga rättigheter..

In the late 20th century there has been some changes in the public sector. These changes are described as New Public Management. When ideas from the private market is transferred to the public sector, for example to regard citizens as cus-tomer. Central in this paper is the use of term customer in the Swedish public sec-tor. There are two questions in the paper; which possibilities has a disappointed customer to effect the public sector, and what may happen with democracy, the common good, when the citizen becomes a customer?To answer the questions I study two different cases, Svedala kommun and the tax department, Skatteverket.

The main purpose of our thesis is to discuss the subject e-books from a Swedish public library perspective. The aim of the thesis is to locate and analyse statistics in regards to lending electronic books in public libraries. With this background a text analyse have been done, which views different arguments about e-books. We have studied the current statistics about lending e-books to the public users, the statistic material was gathered from the two main providers of e-books, eLib and E-biblioteket. With this statistic report as a background, arguments from scientists, journalists and users of e-books have been studied.

Studien syfte var att belysa och analysera vilken kunskap och inflytande eleverna har över sin arbetsmiljö i skolan. Vi genomförde en kvantitativ studie i form av enkäter. Enkäterna lämnades ut till ett antal elever i årskurs tre i en gymnasieskola i Norrbotten. Genom studien hoppades vi få svar på vilken kunskap och inflytande eleverna har om sin arbetsmiljö i skolan. Resultatet av studien visar att eleverna har bristfälliga kunskaper i frågor om skolans arbetsmiljö.

New method for measuring road quality- A statisticalstudy of the relationship between road quality andsocioeconomic development A new tool with implications for road maintenance has the potential to yield statistical data for road quality in a large number of regions. This thesis investigates the possibility to develop a method, from this data, for evaluating the effects of road quality on socioeconomic development.The thesis is essentially divided into two parts. Part one looks to qualitatively establish the link between socioeconomic development and road quality and the second part focuses on how to develop a method for evaluating the effects of road quality on socioeconomic development. A method was devised using categorical data and a multinomial regression model. This method provides a comprehensive overview of the complex relationship between a variety of different variables.

»Does it have to be so green?« is a visual communication project focused on packaging design. I attempted to challenge the clichés of graphic design for organic products and designed a packaging concept for a fictional food brand. The project had a special objec¬tive which was to explore ways to use the package as carrier for in¬formation about the enviromental impact of the packaging itself.The process included research about packaging design and its ef¬fect on the consumer, an investigation of the Swedish market for organic foods, creating and defining a brand, and designing a cohe¬rent packaging concept for a product line which communicates the brand?s values and appeals to the intended target group.The project resulted in prototypes for a muesli package, tea car¬ton and honey jar, as well as a manual that explains the application of the graphic program..

Purpose/Aim: To create a communication strategy for PADI Nordic with the intention of getting Swedish divers, who have been certified abroad, to Swedish dive centers.Material/Method: The study is based on a number of personal interviews conducted with a) divers who are active in Sweden, b) divers who are not active in Sweden and c) representatives from PADI and PADI affiliated dive centers.Main results: The main reason that people who have been certified abroad do not dive in Sweden is that they regard it as being too complicated, too cold, too expensive and with nothing interesting to see. These might partly be misconceptions that can be corrected through a communication strategic effort. The best way to change this perception is by two different forms of communication. One will go from PADI Nordic straight to the divers through an email. This will have the purpose of getting their attention, making diving sound interesting and raise their awareness in preparation for the other part of the process.

Swedish students' knowledge of mathematics has deteriorated in recent years. Teaching of mathematics is therefore starting point in an ongoing discussion among researchers, school leaders, politicians, teachers and others, who all thinks they know best about how teaching should be designed to the greatest extent possible to raise students' proficiency levels in the subject. Teachers' practices have long been the focus of discussions and views on these differ. The purpose of this paper is therefore to study students 'conceptions of mathematics and mathematics teaching, with teachers' methods and tools of focus, in relation to previous research on the subject. The method used was a survey of students in secondary school and a textual analysis of previous studies on the subject.As revealed by the survey was that the textbook has a big advantage in mathematics education in Sweden today.Many students are not accustomed to working in a different way and thereforedoes not know either what the alternative approach entails.
