SO - en orientering i en tid av förändring : En kvalitativ undersökning av SO-lärares syn på sitt ämne, dess plats och framtid

SO är ett blockämne, bestående av geografi, historia, religions- och samhällsvetenskap, som under de senaste femtio åren haft en plats i den svenska grundskolan. SO-ämnets innehåll, organisering och arbetssätt har dock varierat under dessa femtio år. Syftet med denna undersökning är att ta reda på hur verksamma SO-lärare ser på sitt ämne, sin behörighet och på de förändringar som är på väg att ske inom SO-ämnet. Undersökningen grundar sig i en fenomenologisk ansats och för att få svar på syftets fråga har fem SO-lärare intervjuats.Studien visar på hur de intervjuade lärarna ser positivt på SO-ämnets blocktanke och gärna vill utveckla detta blocktänkande. I samma anda visar lärarna på en vilja att öka integreringen mellan SO-ämnet och andra skolämnen.

The task is also to make the pupils feel as a part of the common culture.The aim with this essay is to investigate if - and how - the teachers in two different schools are u sing the immigrant pupils experiences and knowledge about other cultures and religions than the Christian. Does the teachers use the parents of the immigrant pupils or other relatives as a resource in their teaching?We also wanted to investigate what the teachers are doing with the pupils of another religious belonging than the Christian, who is not allowed to join the celebration of Christian festivals in school, such as Easter, Christmas and breaking-up ceremonies in the church.In this essay we have used a form.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to examine how the religious education is implemented in junior and grammar school. As a base for my examination I used two private schools and two municipal schools. My main goal was to get a better view of the content of the education, the treatment of the students and the conditions for the students to get a greater understanding and respect for others? religious beliefs and opinions through education. To reach this goal I did interviews and field studies which means that the paper has a qualitative approach.The examination showed clearly that the private schools spend a lot more education time on their respective religions while the municipal schools have a more comprehensive education.

Religion i historieböckerna, utmaningar och möjligheter : En didaktisk analys av läromedel i historia

Swedish students in the upper secondary school will recieve informaition regarding religion from multiple sources. If we look past the students surroundings like the family, friends or multimedia school is still the primary arena for religous education. Discussions about religion will take place in other lessons than just the subject religion. History is in my opinion the subject closest related to religion and the two makes up for a lot of the values work in swedish schools. Textbooks is still one of the most important tools for education and that makes them important as objects to study.

Kristendomen i skolans undervisning : Betydelsen för utvecklingen av barns och ungas kulturella identitet

Denna studie syftar till att undersöka vilken plats och betydelse kristendomen har och har haft över tid i religions-, historie- och samhällskunskapsundervisningen när det gäller att leva tillsammans i ett samhälle, familj eller bara som man och kvinna. Studien syftar också till att undersöka vilken betydelse kristendomen har för barn och ungas kulturella identitet och hur skolan kan bidra till att utveckla denna hos barn och unga. Metoden som använts är en så kallad textstudie, vilket innebär att olika texter studeras och jämförs för att ge svar på frågeställningarna och syftet. Den litteratur jag har studerat främst är kurslitteratur i ämnen historia, religion och samhällskunskap för mellanstadiet, årskurs 4 till och med 6. Böckerna är publicerade mellan tidsepokerna 1960-2010.

Religionskunskap - Ett ämne i tiden? : En studie av kristendomens roll i ämnet religionskunskap

Before the autumn term 2011 the Swedish compulsory school adopted new syllabuses in relation to, inter alia, religion. Changes within the religion topic have historically been a heavily debated issue among decision-makers, interest groups and the church, where the role of the Christianity has been particularly controversial.The main purpose of this study is therefore to investigate how the Swedish compulsory school?s teaching of Christianity has changed over the years. I have in order to conduct this study applied a descriptive method as well as a content analysis. The Swedish compulsory school?s current and historical syllabuses in religion have served as basis for this study.The outcome of this study clearly shows that the Christianity has received less influence to the benefit of other topics.

Fyra lärares tankar och syn kring arbetet med integration, mångfald och värdegrund på en mångkulturell skola

The purpose of this qualitative research study is to examine if and how the teachers from a multicultural International School work with intercultural pedagogy. The school in question isprofiled and consists of both Swedish- and English classes. The study examines if and how the teachers related to the great variety of cultures and created opportunities for integration between the students and handling with values at school. It is important to be aware as a teacher to be able to take an active part in working towards a school that gives possibilities for different cultures to meet. If this is neglected, it may increase the risk of problems and cultural clashes between the students.

Religionsundervisningens nytta : En kvalitativ undersökning kring sex elevers syn på religionsundervisningen och på dess nytta

Under våra VFU ? perioder har vi uppfattat att elevernas intresse för religion är lågt.Syftet med denna studie är att granska sex gymnasieelevers tankar kring nyttan med religionsundervisningen i skolan och varför deras intresse kan uppfattas som lågt. I studien undersöks också hur elever uppfattar lärarens tydlighet kring meningen med religionsundervisningen, religion, livsåskådningar och etik. Med utgångspunkt i detta syfte granskar vi elevernas syn för att hitta, för läraren, nya förhållningssätt och undervisningsmetoder som kan gynna elevernas intresse och lärande.Undersökningen har utförts med hjälp av kvalitativa intervjuer, gjorda på sex elever på gymnasienivå. Det vi fann i undersökningen sammanställdes och transkriberades för att sedan kunna diskuteras i förhållande till teorier.Resultatet av denna studie påvisar att det finns en plats för religionsundervisning i skolan.

This essays overarching aim is to contribute to the theoretical discussion of transformation processes that are shaping the urban landscapes and further to problematize contemporary planning discourses in Sweden. Drawing on the concept of Foucault?s heterotopia and actor-network theory for spatial analysis, the paper seeks to analyze the complex urban landscape transformation process as an emergent property of human and non-human actor-networks seeking to transform and order space. With the district of Rosenlund in Gothenburg as a starting point, this thesis intends to examine how the cultural infrastructure - used by the residents and visitors of the city - are related to the city's planning and development processes. The case study is based on a boat (Rio Rio) in Rosenlund canal that is defined as a cultural infrastructure.
