Mitt emellan : En undersökning om hur nÄgra arabiska unga mÀn förhÄller sig till den svenska alkoholkulturen i samband med den arabiska alkoholkulturen

The purpose with our essay is to examine how Arabic young men, with Islamic background, behave to the origin culture of alcohol in relation to the Swedish alcohol culture. To get the information we used a qualitative method. We interviewed young men with Islamic background.Some central questions that character our essay was about the interview person's positions between the different alcohol cultures and if the Islamic religion in some way affects their view on alcohol. Another important question was how they interpret the message of the Koran about alcohol.The conclusion with our study is that the majority of the interview persons consider them selves between the two different alcohol cultures. All of the interview persons were in some way influenced of the Islamic religions rules concerning the use of alcohol and this even if some of the persons didn't see themselves as faithful Muslims..

SO - en orientering i en tid av förÀndring : En kvalitativ undersökning av SO-lÀrares syn pÄ sitt Àmne, dess plats och framtid

SO Àr ett blockÀmne, bestÄende av geografi, historia, religions- och samhÀllsvetenskap, som under de senaste femtio Ären haft en plats i den svenska grundskolan. SO-Àmnets innehÄll, organisering och arbetssÀtt har dock varierat under dessa femtio Är. Syftet med denna undersökning Àr att ta reda pÄ hur verksamma SO-lÀrare ser pÄ sitt Àmne, sin behörighet och pÄ de förÀndringar som Àr pÄ vÀg att ske inom SO-Àmnet. Undersökningen grundar sig i en fenomenologisk ansats och för att fÄ svar pÄ syftets frÄga har fem SO-lÀrare intervjuats.Studien visar pÄ hur de intervjuade lÀrarna ser positivt pÄ SO-Àmnets blocktanke och gÀrna vill utveckla detta blocktÀnkande. I samma anda visar lÀrarna pÄ en vilja att öka integreringen mellan SO-Àmnet och andra skolÀmnen.

Are immigrant pupils experiences used as a resource in school?A descreptive investigation out of a teching point of wiew

Today many people immigrate to Sweden, many of them with another religious belonging than the Christian. According to Lpfö98 and Lpo94, the Kindergarten and the school have the task to help alla the pupils to develop an understanding for their own cultural inheritance and the the swedish culture. The task is also to make the pupils feel as a part of the common culture.The aim with this essay is to investigate if - and how - the teachers in two different schools are u sing the immigrant pupils experiences and knowledge about other cultures and religions than the Christian. Does the teachers use the parents of the immigrant pupils or other relatives as a resource in their teaching?We also wanted to investigate what the teachers are doing with the pupils of another religious belonging than the Christian, who is not allowed to join the celebration of Christian festivals in school, such as Easter, Christmas and breaking-up ceremonies in the church.In this essay we have used a form.

The purpose with this essay is to examine the need of moral education and the presence and the framing of moral education of seven teachers in religion. The purpose is also to analyse where and how the moral education should be included in the curriculum. The survey was conducted through qualitative interviews with a hermeneutic approach.

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to examine how the religious education is implemented in junior and grammar school. As a base for my examination I used two private schools and two municipal schools. My main goal was to get a better view of the content of the education, the treatment of the students and the conditions for the students to get a greater understanding and respect for others? religious beliefs and opinions through education. To reach this goal I did interviews and field studies which means that the paper has a qualitative approach.The examination showed clearly that the private schools spend a lot more education time on their respective religions while the municipal schools have a more comprehensive education.

Religion i historieböckerna, utmaningar och möjligheter : En didaktisk analys av lÀromedel i historia

Swedish students in the upper secondary school will recieve informaition regarding religion from multiple sources. If we look past the students surroundings like the family, friends or multimedia school is still the primary arena for religous education. Discussions about religion will take place in other lessons than just the subject religion. History is in my opinion the subject closest related to religion and the two makes up for a lot of the values work in swedish schools. Textbooks is still one of the most important tools for education and that makes them important as objects to study.

MÄngkulturalism i svensk barnlitteratur?

The purpose of our master thesis was to investigate how a multicultural society is reflected in childrens books picture books, books for children and young people, published in 2002. We found this issue interesting since children of today experience a change in society, where people of many ethnicities, cultures and religions live together to a greater extent than before. Since children in their everyday life are exposed to these different cultures, we think they also should be exposed to them in the books they read. In order to enhance an understanding of why such books are important to children, especially immigrant children, we have in our thesis included a passage with childrens linguistic development, identification and stereotypes. Other passages concern libraries and their roles in a multicultural society.

Böckerna Àr publicerade mellan tidsepokerna 1960-2010.

Religionskunskap - Ett Àmne i tiden? : En studie av kristendomens roll i Àmnet religionskunskap

Before the autumn term 2011 the Swedish compulsory school adopted new syllabuses in relation to, inter alia, religion. Changes within the religion topic have historically been a heavily debated issue among decision-makers, interest groups and the church, where the role of the Christianity has been particularly controversial.The main purpose of this study is therefore to investigate how the Swedish compulsory school?s teaching of Christianity has changed over the years. I have in order to conduct this study applied a descriptive method as well as a content analysis. The Swedish compulsory school?s current and historical syllabuses in religion have served as basis for this study.The outcome of this study clearly shows that the Christianity has received less influence to the benefit of other topics.

Religionsundervisningens nytta : En kvalitativ undersökning kring sex elevers syn pÄ religionsundervisningen och pÄ dess nytta

Under vÄra VFU ? perioder har vi uppfattat att elevernas intresse för religion Àr lÄgt.Syftet med denna studie Àr att granska sex gymnasieelevers tankar kring nyttan med religionsundervisningen i skolan och varför deras intresse kan uppfattas som lÄgt. I studien undersöks ocksÄ hur elever uppfattar lÀrarens tydlighet kring meningen med religionsundervisningen, religion, livsÄskÄdningar och etik. Med utgÄngspunkt i detta syfte granskar vi elevernas syn för att hitta, för lÀraren, nya förhÄllningssÀtt och undervisningsmetoder som kan gynna elevernas intresse och lÀrande.Undersökningen har utförts med hjÀlp av kvalitativa intervjuer, gjorda pÄ sex elever pÄ gymnasienivÄ. Det vi fann i undersökningen sammanstÀlldes och transkriberades för att sedan kunna diskuteras i förhÄllande till teorier.Resultatet av denna studie pÄvisar att det finns en plats för religionsundervisning i skolan.
