On Ericsson Ltd in Borås a wireless communication system called MINI-LINK? is produced. In order to sell their product with the best possible quality guaranty, there is a signal processing circuit called ATLAS implemented in the system. The main purpose of this study was to translate Stuttering Severity Instrument 3 and to evaluate its reliability and validity. Five speech-language pathologists assessed 35 adults who stutter with this assessment tool. Overall the results showed a very high inter- and intrarater reliability. A highly significant correlation between Stuttering Severity Instrument 3 and ratings of severity, made by the speech-language pathologists, strengthen the validityof Stuttering Severity Instrument 3. No correlation was found between the total score of Stuttering Severity Instrument 3 and the self-report measure Overall Assessment of the Speaker's Experience of Stuttering, whichindicates a lack of social validity in Stuttering Severity Instrument 3.

This paper deals with the question of why companies choose to go on trade fairs and exhibition examines how the media works. The essay's main focus is on stand contractors and why those hired to produce other company stands. The study is based on three interviews, a visit to a trade fair and a questionnaire survey. Inom sjukhus sker dagligen ett stort antal överrapporteringar och i samband med förflyttningar och överrapportering finns risken att viktig information går förlorad. SBAR är en kommunikationsmodell som används inom vården vid överrapportering för att ge tydligare struktur åt informationsöverföringen. Syftet med denna litteraturstudie var att undersöka om det fanns evidens för att SBAR kan kvalitetssäkra kommunikationen samt om det fanns ett samband mellan implementering av SBAR och minskad förekomst av vårdskador. Studien genomfördes som en systematisk litteraturstudie i vilken 22 vetenskapliga artiklar ingick. Resultatet visar på att det finns starkt vetenskapligt underlag för att SBAR som kommunikationsmodell kvalitetssäkrar kommunikationen och ett begränsat vetenskapligt underlag för att SBAR kan minska förekomsten av vårdskador.

Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka hur lärare som är verksamma i grundskolans tidigare år resonerar kring och arbetar med de genusrelaterade mål och riktlinjer som finns nedskrivna i de nationella styrdokumenten. Studien är baserad på en kvalitativ undersökningsmetod där fyra lärare med olika arbetsplatser och erfarenheter har intervjuats. Min undersökning visar att jämställdhet är ett ämne som samtliga intervjuade lärare anser är mycket relevant att arbeta med. Undersökningen visar emellertid också att lärarna, trots de genusrelaterade mål och riktlinjer som finns nedskrivna, saknar ett tydligt gemensamt förhållningssätt rörande genus och jämställdhetsarbete i skolan. Jämställdhetsarbete förekommer i viss mån på klassrumsnivå men utöver det visar studien att riktlinjer för ett övergripande jämställdhetsarbete saknas..

Syftet med examensarbetet är att förvärva kunskap och förståelse för elever med specifika matematiksvårigheter som ska ligga till grund för vårt kommande yrke som matematiklärare. Vi avser att undersöka hur elever med specifika matematiksvårigheter identifieras samt hur elevens vardag påverkas. För att uppnå detta har vi gjort en fallstudie av en elev med specifika matematiksvårigheter. Vi har studerat relevant litteratur i ämnet, utfört kvalitativa intervjuer samt observerat eleven i en specialpedagogisk miljö. Resultatet visade att eleven uppvisar en hel del tecken som innefattas av specifika matematiksvårigheter.

Companies started these accounts because their rivals started having them and today most large companies have a environmental account or sustainable development report. The information given by the companies have been seen as slanted, and others see it only as a part of the image production for the companies. There have been several investigations of the stakeholders of environmental reports and it is not clear who is the primary stakeholder, in other words who actually reads them. All different stakeholders have different views of what an environmental account should encompass.

This report presents a study of the basic criteria for computer programmes that may be consideredadequate for aiding children with autism in their education and upbringing. I have based thisstudy on descriptions, opinions and proposals from people who deal with treatment and/orother issues concerning children with autism, as well as relevant literature.The study has been carried out in a major Swedish metropolitan municipality. The intervieweeswere civil servants from this municipality and representing different institutional endeavourson the issue of autism.I used a combination of both quantitative and qualitative techniques, as there was need for bothstandardization and qualitative variation. The main aim of the study was to seek suggestionson how computer programmes should be. That is, if they are to be considered appropriate föraiding children with autism develop their personality.The general conclusion of this study is that computer programmes, that may be consideredappropriate for the above mentioned purpose, should have certain characteristics of whichpedagogic usefulness and user suitability are of primary importance..

The main purpose with this study is to make the modified parenting visible in relation to the school over time. How have the views of parenting and support, by the pedagogues and the parents, earlier been interpreted and how is it today? The results of the interviews, which were more like an everyday dialogue, were analyzed through a phenomenological effort with a hermeneutist method interpretation. The theory connection has mainly consisted of relevant terms for this study.I have come to the conclusion that parents today feel that they have an extended responsibility when it comes their own children?s knowledge.

This study focuses on the booking agencies in Sweden and their point of view on the reality with a focal point from the mass media perspective, which says that they have become rather wealthy because of the changes within the music business. The mass media describes the booking agencies situation as golden because of the economical and technological changes that more or less have paralysed the record industry. The study is performed with a qualitative approach and is based on interviews with relevant individuals from eight different Swedish booking agencies. These individuals have been chosen to match as many different segments in the booking agency business as possible. On account of the qualitative approach it is difficult to generalize the conclusion of the study.

The purpose of my study was to visualize how teachers works with multilingual children in pre-school, the methods used to stimulate and develop primary and secondary language and how teachers does see second languages development with the help of the primary language. The study consists of qualitative methods in form of interviews which are made with four teachers who work within the pre-school. The findings during the collection of data (interviews) are going to be connected to the relevant literature on the subject I have chosen.The result showed that the concrete materials are used to stimulate and develop primary- as the secondary language and that the teachers have different opinions on secondary languages development with the help of primary language even if the primary language seems to be an important asset of all teachers that I interviewed..

This paper aim to present a model for evaluating what we choose to call HTML-frameworks, a framework that contains a set of CSS layouts and occasionally JavaScript support, based on the characteristics of the software quality standard ISO/IEC 9126-1. The methods used to produce this model is based on a field study that involved making a web portal with the help of a HTML-framework, some relevant literature and an analysis of the framework based on the characteristics of the ISO/IEC 9126-1 standard. The result was a model based on twelve different characteristics; functionality, web browser compatibility, collaborative skills, user-friendliness, documentation, visuals, graphic layout, performance, activity, professional support, replaceability and license. This model should be viewed upon as a suggestion to what a model for choosing HTML-framework could look like, because we haven?t had the time to test it in a real situation, so further studies are needed, and we believe there could be improvements made in the objectivity of the assessments of the characteristics..

The intention is to focus on the implementation of the tablet in preschools and how the intentions around the introduction of the tablet take shape in different preschools. The method is semi structured interviews where the respondents consist of 3 preschool directors and 6 teachers where the preschool directors work. This is a relevant subject to illustrate, as the tablet has become a tool in preschool where it seems to be different opinions about how it should be used. This study aims to understand how the implementation can take form in different preschools, what kind of similarities and differences we can see with the intentions of the tablet and if there is need of clarification on the workings of the tablets in preschools. The results show that the intentions around the introduction of the tablet in preschool look different in the preschools, and the implementation of this new technology starts in a small scale with help of photographing and videotaping.
