The purpose of this essay is to analyse and understand how branding can take place in a football organisation. Football clubs have for a long time been seen as non-profit organisations but since money have become a main factor also in football these days the organisations are more or less turning in to commercial businesses. Football organisations have for many years neglected the assets of actively contributing values to their brand. Despite that branding doesn't seem to be seen as important in football organisations as it is for real companies who spend a fortune of money on building strong brands, which makes us curious to find out how this approach can be developed also in football. We are also interested in what the characteristics are and which underlying factors that determines the choice of a football brand.

The purpose of this study is to examine how immigrant authorsare mediated in texts. The study is based on three magazines which are directed towards the library sector. These texts have been published from the year 2000 to the year 2012. The study focuses on two of these magazines, namely Bibliotek i Samhälle and Biblioteksbladet. The study focuses on authors who write in the swedish language, but who still seem to be perceived as immigrant authors.

The European Union has been working to promote equality between women and men for a long time. Despite this, Sweden still have a gender segregated labor market where men generally has the leading positions. According to European law the member states shall promote gender equality and to take all appropriate measures. Statutory gender quotas for company boards is one such measure that some of the European member states have implemented in national law. The Swedish law has no provisions governing gender quotas and therefore the purpose of this study is to explain how gender quotas for company boards relate to current law, both of European law and national legislation.

By conducting a text analysis this study analyzes possible similarities in the portrayal of story characters between historical Norse myths and contemporary film productions. The chosen historical texts are two stories from Norse mythology which render a myth about Thor and a giant named Hrunge as well as the myth Trymskvädet. The selected movies are two of the comic company Marvel?s productions about super heroes ? Thor and The Avengers. Different categories that this study compares are how the characters are defined by their possessions or artefacts, the actions and the choices which the characters make, and also how their Relations, roles and origins are being portrayed.
Feodalismen som fenomen : den säregna makten i det tidiga feodala samhället
The French historian Marc Bloch is considered to be one of the masters of medieval history, particularly his creation Feudal Society has been an essential piece of work for everyone who desires a deeper understanding of the general feudal society. Bloch gives his readers a vivid and living picture of a society so far beyond our present that it is sometimes hard to keep in mind that this society is part of our legacy. At the same time Bloch endows his readers with the special historical outlook he and his successors has developed, the history of the mentalities. By reaching further back in time, to the Roman and Germanic cultures and the manorial system, he proves his point that the feudal society was build on the legacy of older structures and institutions.In the coming study I will disentangle the early feudal structure of power as Bloch has described it in his Feudal Society. The essence of this power structure is to find in the very characteristic tie between two men, the vassalage.
Patienters psykiska hälsa efter en hjärtinfarkt : En litteraturstudie
Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva patienters psykiska hälsa efter en hjärtinfarkt.Studien genomfördes som en litteraturstudie. Sökorden myocardial infarction, mental health, experience, psychological health och quality of life kombinerades för att hitta artiklar. Arton artiklar inkluderades i studien och hittades i databaserna PubMed och Cinahl och genom andra artiklars referenslista. Undersökningarna i artiklarna var genomförda med intervjuer, enkäter och observationer. Resultatet visade att män upplevde en bättre hälsorelaterad livskvalitet än kvinnor samt att kvinnors psykiska hälsa påverkades mer efter en hjärtinfarkt.

This study focuses the gendered Relations of the Military Academy of Karlberg. More specific the study is investigating the experiences among young women and men cadets of suppression techniques. The purpose of the study is to get more knowledge about the work climate and suppression techniques at the officers? training program 2007/2010. The research questions employed for the study were:- Do the women and men officer students/cadets have any experiences of master suppressiontechniques at the officers? training program?- What kind of master suppression techniques occur at the officer?s training program?- What kind of master suppression techniques do women experience?- What kind of master suppression techniques do men experience?The study is a survey and data were retrieved by a questionnaire sent out to the participants.
Folksonomi ? en förklaring i perspektiv av kunskapsorganisation
The aim of this master's thesis is to investigate and to explain the concept of folksonomy in the perspective of knowledge organisation. By creating a conceptual explanation and defining what folksonomy as a concept consists of, the intent is to establish a basis for evaluating folksonomy and to discuss what relevance folksonomy may have in the field of knowledge organisation. By applying a qualitative content analysis a review is performed on how folksonomy is perceived and discussed in a selection of articles written on the subject. Employing the theory of classification, subject indexing and bibliographic retrieval, folksonomy as a method for knowledge organisation is analysed. The practice of tagging in existing systems is also studied.

The aim of this paper is to describe and explain how the separation between state and church effects the power Relations between state and religious groups and organizations. Former state church, The Swedish church, is in this paper, not included in the definition of religious groups. The reform (?stat-kyrka reformen?) took place between 1995 and year 2000.I?m examining if religious groups had any influence on the reform. My expectation is to give a clearer picture of religious groups and its power position in Swedish politics and society.

Mergers between companies has become more and more common in Sweden and in the rest of the world with the motive to increase the competitive strength in the current markets and has an important role within organisational development of companies. When organisations merger there is not only buildings and objects that are put together but also their individual organisational structures, people, values and cultures. This can be a difficult process and can affect many people in how they think conscious as well as unconscious, feel and react.The purpose of this thesis is to gain a deeper understanding of how employees are affected following a merger when changes in the organisational culture come up, and how these changes are expressed.This thesis is delimited to investigate only one company, Skruf Snus AB and only focus on their business and employees in the region of Stockholm. The thesis contains a qualitative investigation with semi structured interviews that has been carried out with eight employees at Skruf Snus AB. The thesis is partly based on a model of Schein which describes the different levels in organisational culture and partly on some theories about reactions to change in relation to the integration between the employees following a merger.The results of the investigation indicate that with a merger the whole organisational culture is affected and therefore also the employees.
Kritik i arbetet - varför så negativt? : En socialpsykologisk studie om kritikens betydelse för sociala relationer i ett lärarlag
Kritik är ett begrepp som inte har fått lika stort utrymme som feedback i forskning om sociala relationer. Den här studien visar på dess betydelse för relationer mellan lärare på en gymnasieskola. Utifrån teorier som Scheffs sociala band, Asplunds problemlösning, Meads ?I? och ?Me? med flera, belyser vi kritikens olika aspekter och vad som krävs för att den skall tolkas som positiv kontra negativ. Vi har under den här studien hittat en del saker som är relevanta när det gäller hur personer förhåller sig till kritik, exempelvis på vilket sätt den bör framföras och tas emot.
Naturens lockelse : en studie av dubbelhet i Karin Broos bildvärld
The aim of the study has been to examine the duality that I seemed to find in Karin Broos works, primarily on the basis of her renditions of nature. The objective is to study the duality on various plans and to examine which traces of Intertextuality that may exist.In the study of the duality I have taken note of how nature is presented in terms of style and form, as well as that I have seeked cultural references pictorial and symbolic. I have also examined the images with reference to Intertextuality. The following questions has been applied during the work: How is nature produced in the paintings? What place occupies nature in relation to the people, in the works? What is being communicated by nature's participation in the works?As a method, and as a tool for analysis and interpretation of selected works, I have chosen to use Panofskys iconological interpretative method. As a guide to seek Relations of intertextuality the theories of Julia Kristeva has been useful, which includes thoughts that new images are created or re-created in relation to other images all the time and in new contexts.As a result of the study I have found some kind of expression of balance, though it did not seemed to look that way from the beginning.
Långtidsfrisk eller arbetsglädje - vad speglar arbetsrelaterad hälsa?
The work related illness has increased and instead of focusing on what?s causing it more and more efforts are put on trying to find the health factors within and outside the work environment. During the past years the term ?long-term health? has arisen; instead of focusing on the number of employees on the sick-list, the focus should be put on the number of employees that has a record of long-term health within an organization, i.e. health-presence.

A new generation has entered the labour market. The group is presented as Generation Y andis described as egocentric, spoiled, unloyal and money oriented. Lecturer advice companieson how to understand and lead this new generation. The advisement creates stereotypicalcharacteristics of the group, which then reflects on the generations own identity development.But aside the stereotypes that are created on the labour market, the generation puts a lot oftheir spare time into volunteer work, which is seen as altruistic. This gives us a contradictoryportrayal of the new generation.The purpose of this paper is to understand the factors that contribute to the voluntary work ofGeneration Y and how the group experiences their own commitment.
