Palliativ vård innebär ett förhållningssätt där patientens livskvalitet står i centrum. Vården kännetecknas av en holistisk människosyn där patientens fysiska, psykiska, sociala samt existentiella behov ska tillgodoses. Från sjuksköterskans perspektiv kan palliativ vård bedrivas inom såväl primärvård som slutenvård och omfattningen av det palliativa vårdandet varierar beroende på inom vilket område sjuksköterskan är verksam. Oavsett kontext har sjuksköterskan en relations­skapande funktion och relationen har stor betydelse för patientens välbefinnande. Professionell hållning inom palliativ vård innebär att sjuksköterskan medvetet tillämpar ett empatiskt förhållningssätt.

The following text constitutes an attempt to present the French philosopher Gilbert Simondon's genetic ontology through an account of his reconfiguration of the problem of individuation in his doctoral thesis from 1958, L'individuation à la lumière des notions de forme, information, potentiel, métastabilité. The intention is to show how Simondon through this reconfiguration of a classical philosophical problem ? in which concepts and schemas from contemporary physics and technology is utilised in a critique of the bi-polar hylomorphic schema as its traditional, substantialistic solution ? becomes able to articulate an anti-substantialistic and anti-reductionistic ontogenesis as first philosophy. A systematic philosophical conception that according to Simondon precedes every critical investigation of the subject as well as every scientific ontology ? not by establishing a pre-critical position, but by exceeding Kant's critical position: that is, through a displacement toward a conception of the transcendental conditions for the genesis of being and thought as real conditions, rather than conditions of mere possibility.

I en alltmer konkurrensmässig värld, där synbarheten blir allt viktigare, fyller public relations en viktig funktion i hur företag finner och behandlar relationer till sina följare. En ny trend är att utelämna information i kampanjer för att skapa förvirring och därmed få nyhetsvärde. Branschen är delad i huruvida detta är ett etiskt korrekt tillvägagångssätt. I denna studie undersöker vi, genom en fallstudie, hur kampanjer av detta slag dels ser ut men även planeras med syfte att skapa förståelse för eventuella för- och nackdelar med tillvägagångssättet. Studiens teoretiska inramning bygger på att med hjälp av förståelse kring kampanjplanering, medias dagordning och vikten av förtroende, ge insikt i hur en PR-kampanj skapar värde genom uppmärksamhet.

Kvalitetssäkringssystem används i livsmedelsproduktionen för att identifiera och kontrollera de potentiella faror som kan påverka slutproduktens kvalité och säker-het. I produktionen av pastöriserad dryckesmjölk är Hazard Analysis Critical Con-trol Point (HACCP) ett väl etablerat redskap som används för att eliminera de mi-krobiella, kemiska och fysikaliska risker som kan drabba mjölk. Kvalitetsförsäm-ring hos mjölk kan orsakas av flera olika bakterier och kvalitetsledningssystem genomförs på både mjölkgård och mejeriföretag för att säkerställa att mjölkens bakteriehalt hålls på en godkänd nivå. Syftet med denna litteraturöversikt är att sammanställa den information som publicerats om de mikrobiologiska faror som hotar produktionen av kvalitetssäker mjölk samt vikten av att kontrollera dem med hjälp av kvalitetssäkringssystem som HACCP. Fokus har lagts på de bakterier som är vanligt förekommande i miljön kring mjölkproduktion samt hur de riskerar att kontaminera mjölk, vars kvalité och säkerhet därmed försämras.

The purpose of this thesis is to study how today?s consumer society can be understood from ananalysis of the phenomenon Every Day Carry (EDC). The aim is thus to problematize the daily useof the artifacts that surrounds us and investigate how these can be understood as networks of humanand non-human actors, aswell as identity- and meaning-making practices in today?s consumersociety.The theoretical and methodical framework is built upon an eclectic variety of consumptiontheories,Michel Callon?s, John Law?s and Bruno Latour?s work on Actor-Network-Theory,Discourse analysis inspired by Michel Foucault, Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe and anethnographic methodology specifically adapted for online research. The empirical material consistsof photographs and commentaries from two EDC blogs aswell as commentaries regarding EDCfrom a commentary field on Youtube.com.

Background: The growth of the venture capital industry has given birth to new relations between investors and entrepreneurial firms. Venture capital firms are by definition investors serving as an active partner which implies a deeper relation between investors and entrepreneurs than has been the case previously. This new situation leads to a number of questions. Do venture capitalists really act as active partners with a long term interest in the venture? Do they add any value besides capital? How important is their influence in the portfolio company's decision making process? Purpose: The purpose of this study is to give a deeper understanding of the relation between venture capital firms and IT companies in the start-up phase.

Our post-modern society is being continually more characterized by the working life, where corporate relations and the understanding of human momentum, limitations and knowledge is the basis of the quality of the corporation. In other words, it is of the greatest importance to keep in mind the attitudes, behaviour, stress levels and motivations that constitute a good working environment. We find it interesting to study what social psychological approaches and social processes could be of importance to good cooperation. The research has its starting point in a qualitative method focused on semi- structured interviews, where we have interviewed eight respondents working within the psychiatry. The research has strengthened our pre-understanding but also made clear the existence of other social processes and approaches that affect cooperation.

The purpose of the essay is to draw attention to my approach in relation to a boy I choose to call Emil, and how I can increase my understanding of his behavior. I explore conceivable reasons for why he breaks down so often, especially when other children are given attention. Is he simply unusually egoistic, and to a large degree only able to see to his own interests, or am I overlooking the real reasons for his actions.In order to explain the reasons for Emil?s apparent frustration in sensitive situations, I explore the significance of attachment theory. I argue about possible effects of Emil?s parents? way of describing and guiding him, as well as how I, and my colleagues, risk fulfilling and amplifying negative expectations.As the prime reason for his repeated sense of unhappiness seems linked to a lack of empathy, I explore different ways of understanding this, as well as how I might contribute to fostering compassion.

Politiken i Sverige har de senaste åren blivit allt mer medialiserad, vilket innebär att medierna har en stor makt att påverka politiken indirekt eftersom det är via dem som nyheter och information sprids. Inom det politiska området har Public Relations (PR) fått ett allt större utrymme genom dess arbete med organisationer, politiska organ/ aktörer, journalister och media och så vidare. PR-bolagen arbetar i det ?dolda? och det framgår inte alltid för mottagaren att det är en PR-byrå som konstruerat meddelandet. Eftersom PR-byråerna har ett stort nätverk har de således många kontakter, vilket ger dem en viss makt när det gäller olika sakfrågor eftersom de använder sig i hög grad av lobbning för att åstadkomma opinionsbildning och annan påverkan.

Forskningen på området präglas av en klassisk bild av att företagens storlek påverkar informationsinnehållet på deras hemsidor, ju större företag desto bättre kvalité och innehåll på informationen. Frågeställning: Då forskningen de senaste åren har stagnerat inom detta ämnesområde samt att den senaste studien av svenska förhållanden gällande företagsstorlek kontra IR-kvalité är snart tio år gammal vill denna uppsats reda ut: Vilka skillnader i informationsinnehållet finns mellan stora, mellanstora och små företags IR-sidor? Syfte: Studiens syfte är att undersöka vad det i första hand finns för skillnader i informationsinnehållet på företagens hemsidor mellan stora, mellanstora och små företag.

AbstractIT can facilitate communication among individuals and connect people across geographical distances. On the contrary, citizens of the society who do not use communication technologies to some extent might feel excluded from the information society. As elderly citizens are already in a vulnerable position for the digital divide, communication technology becomes an important tool for interacting with friends and family. The social situation of elderly, 60 years of age and older, is a topic of current interest since they are the fastest growing age group in the world today. Further, social interaction becomes more important among elderly since it has a positive effect on well- being.

During the summer of 2005 a number of steer producers in Skåne, Sweden, found that their animals graded less favourable according to the EUROP carcass grading system when slaughtered, than ordinary. The aim with this project was to determine factors that affects the production result in steer production and to find the reason to the lower classification. The project was initiated by Anita Persson, LRF, Skåne and was preformed with supervision from Ingemar Olsson, SLU, and Jens Fjelkner, Skånesemin. Ten producers of dairy steers located in Skåne was chosen for this study. The producers were interviewed to collect information about their steer production with respect to their planning and results.

Denna studie har utförts i syfte att utifrån begreppet ekosystemtjänster spåra hur lärarstudenter resonerar om människans beroende av och relation till naturen. Data utgår huvudsakligen från ett för- och eftertest som utförts på 29 lärarstudenter. För- och eftertestet har analyserats utifrån en fenomenografisk forskningsansats. Som komplement till studien har transkribering av ett fokus-samtal innehållande fyra av de 29 studenterna använts för att undersöka hur studenterna resonerar om sin personliga relation till naturen.Genom för- och eftertestet kunde fem kvalitativt skilda sätt att resonera om villkor och förutsätt-ningar för mänsklig överlevnad urskiljas. Grupperna kunde rangordnas med stigande komplexitet där människans beroende av naturen kunde urskiljas i tre av dessa.
