The aim of this thesis is to examine how five works of fiction about anorexia and bulimia have been received in Swedish daily press reviews. The investigation is based on 60 reviews, which are analysed with a qualitative method consisting of close-reading and where a feministic perspective is used. The main question concerns how and to which extent the basis of valuation in the reviews is effected by the fact that the books describe a primary female world of experiences. The investigation shows, among other things, that many reviewers consider the books about eating disorders to be too many. They categorize the books about anorexia and bulimia as a genre of its own and place the books into the literary system principally by referring to other books about anorexia and bulimia.

This study analyses how different companies offer customer support through social media andthe customer experience of it.Facebook emerged in Sweden during 2008 and today it has more than 800 million user acrossthe globe. Initially Facebook was created for individuals. However, over time, Facebook hasincreased its functionality to support the presence of companies as well. Today most companieshas got a Facebook page and through it, they can easily communicate with their customers.Customer support is one of the communication forms that Facebook is used for.1A questionnaire that received a hundred responses together with a survey of the differentFacebook pages was done in order to determine how the companies work through socialmedia. The results from the questionnaire and the survey was analyzed with different theoriesregarding corporate presence on social media and Facebook.The results shows that only a few people actually used Facebook for customer support butamongst the ones who did the majority thought it worked well.

Studiens utgångspunkt var att beskriva och analysera vilka föreställningar som ungdomar på gymnasieskolans omvårdnadsprogram har om genus. I bakgrunden beskrivs hur skolan utvecklats ur ett genusperspektiv, samt ges några nedslag i den aktuella forskningen som bedrivs inom området. Den teoretiska ramen består av Pierre Bourdieus (1998) vetenskapliga analys om mäns makt över kvinnor, samt Berit Ås (2004) härskartekniker. Studien var av kvalitativ karaktär och metoden som använts har varit kvalitativ intervju. Antalet intervjuer som genomfördes var åtta.

The aim with this study is to investigate how Swedish public service local radio uses information subsides in the form of press releases. In terms of which entrants gain entrance to the news feed, in which forms and in which subjects. Also we wanted to study how the journalist uses the content in the press releases. To do this we cooperated with the public service radio channel Sveriges radio P4 Kalmar. For 28 days, four weeks, we collected all incoming press releases to the newsroom of P4 Kalmar.

The information regarding the case is based on the results from a questioner, conversations by and observations from the author. This study is based on narratives from two victims of violence. A raped old woman has turned to be the core of this narrative of narrative. She is both a narrator and the head person in her narrative. Her narrative turned out to be a dialogue between two genres namely her trauma story and her life story. By experience violence has been associated with masculinity and powr, which is discussed in some detail.

The purpose of the thesis is to investigate whether a higher income make individuals more likely to exceed the speed limit. In addition to income the variables age, sex, perception of the speed of the average driver and offense history for the last three years are taken into account.The method used is based on a survey performed at the mandatory annual motor-vehicle inspection (Bilprovningen). 177 individuals were asked to participate, of these, 124 completed the survey which in turn left us with 117 usable observations.The analysis is based on two forms of regression, a linear regression and an ordered logit regression to confirm the results for the ordinal data.The final model indicates a result where income and age are statistically significant. Sex is considered insignificant for our data material and is excluded from the model. Age has a negative effect on the propensity to exceed the speed limit while income has a positive effect.

Syfte: Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka det kliniska användandet av melatonin vid sömnsvårigheter hos barn och ungdomar på barnpsykiatriska kliniker i Uppsala län.Metod: En tvärsnittsstudie genomfördes med en webbaserad enkät utformad i Google Forms. Enkäten sändes sedan till urvalsgruppen som var läkare (n=29) på barnpsykiatriska kliniker i Uppsala län.Resultat: Resultatet visar att 13 av 14 läkare förskriver melatonin och även circadin till barn som lider av sömnproblem. De diagnoser som läkemedel vanligen förskrivs för är främst ADHD, autism och depression. Förskrivning av läkemedlen sker till alla åldersgruppen, vanligast var dock från sju år och uppåt.Slutsats: Trots läkemedelsverket tveksamma inställningar till melatonin för behandling av sömnproblem bland barn förskriver 13 av 14 läkare i denna undersökning ut preparatet och anser att det fungerar..

Utökningen kräver samtidighetskontroll där användaren ska informeras av eventuella konflikter. Undersökningen avser att granska hur samtidighetskontroll implementeras och hanteras i applikationen.

This paper is a study of 18 extant pieces of panegyrical music for the Swedish king Karl XI (1655?1697). The compositions are preserved in two forms. There are a few contemporary prints, but the largest amount of music is preserved as manuscripts in the Düben­collection (Uppsala University Library). The paper focuses on four different aspects of the production of these 18 compositions.

This study?s aim is to investigate how multilingual students learn mathematics and teaching strategies used to support the students? development of knowledge. A total of eleven scientific articles were selected for analysis and comparison. The aim of this essay is to study constructions of femininity and sexuality in Sara Stridsberg?s novel Darling River (2010). The analysis is based on queer theory and the term ?skev? ? a variation of ?queer? that allows one to focus on additional forms of normativity apart from sexual desire ? and examines how the characters of the novel are challenging the heteronormative framework by performing gender and sexuality in non-normative, subversive ways. In short, I discuss how the relationship between femininity, body and destiny is being portrayed, how the characters question heteronormativity by overdoing femininity, and by being unable (unwilling) to perform adult femininity.
