När en verksamhet ska etableras på en ny geografisk marknad så uppstår en lokaliseringsproblematik och det är detta som är fokuseringen på denna studie. Bakgrunden till studien är en verksamhet som är baserad i Arvika och som vill etablera sig på en ny marknad i Europa. Företaget, som bland annat tillverkar och säljer fordonstvättar för tunga fordon (till exempel buss, lastbil och tåg), finns idag etablerad på den svenska, amerikanska och kanadensiska marknaden. Dessutom finns de representerade på den polska och finska marknaden. De vill nu undersöka vilka möjligheter som finns i andra länder inom Europa, närmare bestämt i England, Frankrike, Tyskland och Benelux-länderna.

Den arabiska våren är ett uttryck som kom att användas i svensk media under revolutionerna som ägde rum ibland annat i Nordafrika under vintern/våren 2010-2011. Revolutionerna fick stor uppmärksamhet i medierna och många ledare behandlade ämnet i svensk press under denna period. Framställningen av händelserna i dessa ledare handlade om bland annat kampen för demokrati, folket som kämpade mot illvilliga despoter samt Västvärldens förhållningssätt till konflikterna och regionen. Vi ville se om dessa förändringar i Nordafrika har påverkat sättet som media framställer regionen. Det har bedrivits postkolonial forskning om framställningen av Orienten, och när nu tillfälle gavs att få studera detta ur en ny angreppsvinkel väcktes vårt intresse.

The residential yard at Kvarteret Landsfiskalen 1, in the area Herrgården in Rosengård, Malmö was built in 1971 and has since then been reconstructed twice, in 1984 and 2008. The yard is found in an area which was built during the years 1965 ? 1974, a period in which the swedish goverment approved a decision to build one million homes, and much of the events in this particular yard is also typical for the process in many other areas built during the same period.At the original construction the design of the yard was entirely incused by the pressure in time and finance, one was under at that time, in order to over- come the housing shortage. Syftet med denna uppsats har varit att undersöka hur stor mängd av artiklarna om kommunal verksamhet i Piteå-Tidningen och Norra Skåne som är kritiskt granskande. Det finns en brist på undersökande journalistik i svenska lokaltidningar. Det visar både resultaten från tidigare forskningar och resultatet från undersökningen som gjorts i den här uppsatsen. Slutsatsen är ganska deprimerande för den som hyllar granskningsidealet. Cirka nio procent av texterna är undersökande och tre procent av dem har nått upp till det hårdare kravet på en kritisk granskning.

Aim: The aim of the study was to investigate 1RM and what power could be generated in bench-press and half squat concentric at certain percentages of 1RM. Special interest was put to evaluate men (M) and women (K), strength trained (ST) verses non strength trained (EST) in generating absolute power as well as power relative to 1RM.Method: In total 59 subjects mean (± SD) age 24.9 ± 4.1 years divided into four test groups: 20 male non strength trained GIH-students (EST M), 20 female non strength trained GIH-students (EST K), 10 male strength trained - sprinters on national/regional level (ST M), 10 female strength trained - sprinters (ST K) on national/regional level. They did two tests on 1RM and power in events of concentric bench-press and half squat in a Smith machine. In the first test session 3 ? 5 lifts were made to measure 1RM in each event.

Within the 60 years EU has functioned it has developed and expanded further. In 1952 it evolved around the trade of coal and steel between six countries, today it includes 27 nations and oversees a large number of topics such as foreign affairs, a common currency and regional politics. EU has grown at several times, the latest expansion was the largest where 12 new countries became members. The writer has attempted to discuss the distinction between the necessary and the contingent. It begins with a criticism against the possibility for a so-called ?a possible worlds realism? to give a ?philosophical explanation? of this distinction. The aim of this thesis is to assess the strategic importance of Central Asia as a whole and interests of great powers in the region in particular within the theoretical framework chosen. The work shows Central Asia as an area of the New Great Game, analogue of the original Great Game which was played out between the British Empire and Tsarist Russia in XIX century. The parallels between the original Great Game and the New Great Game are drawn in order to understand the scope and the true intentions of the players of the latter one. Also, the security issues in the contemporary Central Asia are explored and analyzed to provide with the background for future predictions. Furthermore, the indirect purpose of the thesis is to examine whether the international system has changed from that of two centuries ago by comparing the structure of the international systems at the time of two Games.

Per Wahlöö is one of Swedens most internationally renowned authors with the crime novels about Martin Beck as the crown jewel. His career as a journalist is not that famous. The cardinal question in this paper therefore is whether the social criticism that made his authorship so famous emanates from the journalism he produced before or simultaniously with his work as a novelist. To do so I have used a text analytical method on all of Per Wahlöös journalistic writings between the years 1947 and 1965. The sources have consisted of both daily newspapers, most notably Kvällsposten, and weekly magazines like Veckorevyn and Folket i Bild.

Abstract Hot mot journalister är inget nytt fenomen. Däremot är debatten kring denna problematik mer aktuell än någonsin. Samtidigt råder det en viss brist på vetenskapliga undersökningar, som går på djupet vad gäller enskilda journalister och deras erfarenheter av hot. Det huvudsakliga syftet med denna uppsats är därför att utforska åtta journalisters upplevelser i samband med sådana. Utöver detta kommer jag dessutom att analysera hotupplevelserna utifrån journalistikens uppgifter enligt olika demokratimodeller. Mina teoretiska verktyg består vid sidan av teorier rörande olika demokratimodeller och deras syn på journalistik av känslo- och problemfokuserade copingstrategier mot vilka jag kommenterar journalisternas upplevelser.

This report is the result of an evaluation of a project, conducted by five regional libraries. Through a training course the project should inspire small and medium sized enterprises to use modern information technology and Internet when searching for information. To evaluate the project, qualitative interviews were conducted with five librarians and quantitative questionnaires were distributed to all the course participants. The evaluation shows that the project goals were met, apart from the number of course participants, which was much lower than anticipated. It also shows that the project resulted in an increase in information technology and competence at the libraries, and that the course participants profit from their increased knowledge in their daily work..
