This thesis is a case study that analyses the seaside resort Ystad Sandskog and its private architecture between 1850 and 1940. The multitude is evident in the area's architecture. The architectural development is analysed with the use of a social historical perspective, including class and hegemony. Regional as well as national affective factors are used in the analysis. Aside from the social aspects, architectural ideological developments, general development of the seaside resort and the area's committee with its prescriptions are all factors considered.By dividing the development in four different chronological phases, which all represents a certain architectural expression exemplified by a selection of buildings and the social class that it accompanies, a culmination in the architectural structural development of Sandskogen is shown.

Upphovsrättens framväxt har genom tiderna alltid varit nära sammanknuten med tekniska framsteg. Med den senaste tidens utveckling inom främst det datatekniska området, har en ytterligare anpassning och komplettering av upphovsrätten blivit nödvändig. Jag avser med denna uppsats att belysa problematiken med att upprätthålla en balans mellan upphovsrättsinnehavare och användare samt redogöra för denna utveckling. Varje inskränkning i upphovsrätten bör och skall vägas mot åtgärdens faktiska rubbning i en tänkt balans mellan upphovsman och användare. Efter antagandet av infodirektivet kan situationer uppstå vid vilken upphovsmannen förvisso har förlorat sin spridningsrätt genom regional konsumtion, men fortfarande har en viss kontrollrätt av verket genom tekniska skyddsåtgärder.

This essay discusses the use of history, and primarily how the current Swedish society perceives and uses the Viking age. The analysis is based on a literature study as well as a case study of the planned theme park in Fullerö north of Uppsala, Sweden. The aim of the essay is to understand the regional debate which arose in media regarding the planning of Fullerö Park and how it reflects the contemporary use of history. Research about the use of history has become increasingly common in recent years and deals with how history is actively being used in society in order to meet its existing needs. These needs varies among different groups and individuals and results in a multitude of usages, where the interests of the different actors may be contradictory.

Syftet med denna studie var att utifrån en litteraturöversikt beskriva arbetsterapeutiska fallpreventioner för äldre individer och bedöma de inkluderade studiernas vetenskapliga bevisvärde. En litteratursökning utfördes med i förhand utvalda sökord och sökordskombinationer i olika databaser. Utifrån abstrakten valde författarna att inkludera de studier som uppfyllde de på förhand uppsatta inklusionskriterierna. De studier som inkluderats lästes igenom av båda författarna upprepade gånger och analyserades för att få fram studiernas vetenskapliga bevisvärde och en sammanställning av vilka arbetsterapeutiska fallpreventioner som utförts. Dataanalysen resulterade i tre olika huvudgrupper av de utförda interventionerna i förhållande till Kielhofners (2008) indelning på miljö- och individnivå.

Klimatförändringar befaras ge en mängd olika konsekvenser för samhället. Ökade översvämningsrisker är bara en av dessa. De ökade översvämningsriskerna kommer att påverka den möjliga markanvändningen och många områden som idag anses säkra att bebygga och odla kommer att bli riskzoner för översvämning i ett framtida klimat. I samhällets anpassningsprocess ligger nödvändigheten att skydda befintlig bebyggelse men också att kunna lokalisera ny bebyggelse, odling och infrastruktur till säkra zoner. Den kommunala fysiska planeringen har styrmedel som kan påverka bebyggelsens placering och utformning.

How can you do a right measurement of culture as well as with other social sectors and with what can culture contribute when it comes to a town´s development? We found out that in Linköping the regional federation Ostsam recently (2005) started mapping the region's creative centers in order to look into the spreading of the culture in the county, and then use the uniqueness of the culture as an advantage in society- planning contexts. The reason was that both municipal - and State directions detected that the culture has a broader importance when it comes to building up society and infrastructure than earlier considered. This is called Cultural planning and is the foundation- method that Östsam used when working with their new projekt The creative sector. The outcome of the Östsam study resulted in an exciting study basis to work further on with and to examine through own demarcations and directions.This research manages the matter of the creative sector as an extension to the cultural sector.

Forskningsproblem: De två forskningsfrågor vi utgått från i denna studie är: ? Hur ser företagens riskredovisning ut på deras hemsidor idag? ? Hur ser företagens avvägningar ut vid redovisning av risker och riskpolicyer? Vi tittar även närmare på om det kan vara lämpligt att dela in företagen i olika grupper till exempel efter bransch och lönsamhet. Syfte: Vårt syfte är att kartlägga företagens riskredovisning till aktiemarknaden på deras hemsidor och att undersöka de avvägningar som företagen har gjort vid beslutet att redovisa/inte redovisa dessa risker och policyer. Metod: Detta är en kvantitativ totalundersökning som utförts med hjälp av en enkät och studier av de aktuella företagens hemsidor. De företag som ingår i vår population är alla A-listade företag på Stockholms fondbörs som uppgivit en svensk kontaktadress via e-mail på deras hemsidor.

The aim of this study is to examine the possibilities to use gamification to reach thepolitical goals for the transportation system in the Stockholm region. The study has aninterdisciplinary approach and is based around two main building blocks: gamificationand the transportation system in the Stockholm region. The first part examinesgamification. This includes contemporary use, debate, academic definition and aninvestigation of how gamified applications should be developed. One of the mainfindings is a suggestion that gamification should be seen as a process rather that a setof predefined game mechanics that can be applied to any activity.

This survey examines how a regional archive, Värmland Archives, interprets and works from the departure point of national cultural accessibility goal ?Everyone should have the opportunity to participate in cultural life?. And it is also a comporative study of discourse regarding accessibility between Värmland Archives and some other actors in the archival cultural system. Critical discourse analysis, according to Norman Fairclough, is used as a theory method. A discourse analysis is made on empirical data based on document study and qualitative research interviews. My conclusion is that if the term Accessibility is seen as a focal point the accessibility discourse in the documents of Värmland Archives and of the other actors studied can not be clearly discerned. Värmland Archives´s interpretation of terms regarding accessibility analyzed in the survey, varies among the staff regarding how the archives and its services should be accessible, and what accessibility means in the context of the archives.

Strukturell avbildning med ultraljud kan användas för att upptäcka sjukdomar och störningar i kroppen. För att ställa tillförlitliga diagnoser räcker det inte alltid med en strukturell avbildning utan ibland krävs det även fysiologisk information. Vid användning av funktionell avbildning med ultraljud kan den informationen mätas i kroppens olika fysiologiska system. Systemen består av funktionellt olika enheter och kallas för motoriska enheter i skelettmuskulatur. Vid sjukdomar som ateroskleros (åderförkalkning) kan dessa enheter vara så kallade kärlplack, som består av vävnad med varierande egenskaper och medicinsk relevans. Möjligheten att kunna analysera funktionella enheter i system som dessa kan bidra mycket till diagnostisering av sjukdomar och störningar. Den här studien presenterar en metod för att hitta naturliga kluster av funktionella enheter i skelettmuskulatur, från 3D-data inhämtat med ultraljudssekvenser. I studien genererades syntetiska data från en modell som simulerar sekvenser av aktionspotentialer i kontraherande muskelvävnad.

Europeiska kommissionen är på väg att implementera en ny lag som kommer innefatta obligatorisk byrårotation för börsnoterade bolag. Tanken är att detta ska leda till ökad revisionskvalitet då ett antagande görs om att kortare revisionsuppdrag kommer öka revisorernas oberoende. Detta för att revisorer kan komma att bli mer kritiska i förhållande till sina klienters räkenskaper. Inom akademisk forskning är detta antagandet omtvistat vilket skapat en debatt kring huruvida lagregleringen är gynnsam för revisionskvaliteten. Syftet med denna uppsats är att bidra med vidare forskning kring huruvida det kan råda ett samband mellan revisionsuppdragens varaktighet och revisionskvalitet, vilket i så fall skulle rättfärdiga regleringarna från EU:s sida.

In the New Testament different pictures of a Christian woman are presented, not only thepicture of someone who is nursing and caring, but also the picture of someone who is learningand being educated.Women are put into systems of gender which form them, and throughout the years the pictureof women has been that they primarily should be caring and nursing, not learning.Both of these pictures exist within the Swedish Missionary Society, a society that has not hadany constitution to comply with until 1964, which meant that each person could make his owninterpretation of the Bible and its texts.This essay examines how fifty-year-old women are pictured within the Swedish MissionarySociety 1945-1970, assuming that women who want to serve Jesus have to be prepared togive up their traditional role of nursing and caring, and focus on learning instead.The research method is qualitative, and the written sources are from a regional Christianweekly publication. The essay does not present an unambiguous picture of fifty-year-oldnonconformist women, but the results show that they are not being related to children, that themajority has a higher education than elementary school, and that many of them are addressedto as ?Mrs?..

Thavenius (2009:23-122) and Dahl (1999:49-82) explains that literary education in school has gone from, in the 1800s, barely existed on receiving the fairly central location it has today. Fredriksson (2010:2-3) points out that there are several threats to the ancient writers and writings in danger of being forgotten. The purpose with this essay was to examine how to work with literary history in school, and whether and how to work with regional literature history. To fulfill the purpose of this paper three high school teacher in Swedish were interviewed.The survey shows that respondents working in various ways with the history of literature, either in the eras, themes or projects. The perception of what literature and the authors to be affected varies between respondents, particularly the perception of the work about authors from Värmland.

After World War II a rapid expansion of the Swedish health care took place. Theexpansion was realised chiefly as a development of the hospitals and was bothproduced and financed mainly within the public sector. The financing consisted to ahigh degree of government grants from the state to the county councils.During the period for this examination (1945-1955) the public responsibility for thehealth care was expanded. This was expressed in the publicly financed system forhealth insurance and the cut down in the charges that the patients had to pay for thehospital care. These changes led to some discussions on the national level but reformscould on the whole, with exception for the suggested reform of the open health care,be implemented.This case-study performed on the county council in Värmland shows that the degreeof consensus was enhanced on the regional level.
