Konsumentens dilemma : ekologiskt eller konventionellt?
A majority of Swedish consumers have a positive attitude towards organic production and the
number of organic products on the market is increasing. Despite these positive trends, there
are still relatively few consumers who choose to buy organic produced products. According to
statistics, only 3% of the total sales of food consist of organic products.
The aim with this essay is to understand what is needed, both from the grocery store and the
consumer's point of view, to increase the consumption of organic food.
Information has been collected partly through questionnaire with consumers and partly
through analysis of sales statistics for a selected numbers of products. Then the empirical
material have been analysed in the light of a combination of the Behavioural Perspective
Model (Foxell, 1997) and Kotler's Four P:s (Kotler, 2002).
Consumer's willingness to buy organic products is influenced by a number of different
factors. One important thing is if the grocery store offers a behaviour setting that stimulates
the consumers positive attitude and facilitates their possibilities to collect new information.
Furthermore, the store needs to offer a broad and well-visualised selection of organic
products.
Föräldrars erfarenheter av att leva med barn med födoämnesallergi med särskilt fokus på anafylaxi/Parents experiences of living with children who has food allergy with special focus on anaphylaxis
Background: When a child is diagnosed with food allergy with risk of anaphylaxis, it affects the whole family. The child must learn to live with a chronicle disease and learn the importance of avoiding the specific allergens that may cause a life-threatening condition. The parents must adapt to a way of life with limitations in the everyday life as well as a constant concern for the child. They must learn to handle an auto-injector and to recognize symptoms of a coming anaphylaxis. Aim: The aim of this study was to describe parent?s experiences of living with children who has foodallergy with special focus on anaphylaxis.
Arbete med grönstruktur i Skåne - begränsningar och förutsättningar för regional och kommunal grönstrukturplanering med Landskrona kommun som exempel
I dagens samhälle pratas det alltmer om förtätning av städer. Tätare städer ger allt mindre mellanrum mellan bebyggelsestruktur och infrastruktur. Grönstrukturen är ett begrepp som får allt mer utrymme i planeringen och ett mål är att grönstrukturplanering ska få samma självklara plats som till exempel planering av infrastruktur. Denna kandidatuppsats behandlar grönstrukturplanering på regional och kommunal nivå med Landskrona kommun som exempel. I arbetet undersöks begreppet grönstruktur och planeringen av grönstruktur.
Regional omsorg om vatten Roxen och Glan : vattenmiljöer i Motala Ströms avrinningsområde i Östergötland
Uppsatsen syftar till att studera regional omsorg om vatten i området Roxen och Glan i Östergötland. Det görs ur olika perspektiv, där det första är ett historiskt bakgrundsperspektiv. Förutom den historiska tillbakablicken berör frågorna i studien, samhälleliga och nutida förhållanden som kan knytas till framtida regional förvaltning. Syftet är just att, i ett historiskt och nutida perspektiv, lyfta fram aspekter på vattenmiljöfrågor i området Roxen och Glan som grund för bedömning av en framtida regional omsorg om vatten. I arbetet har metod och teori samverkat och uppsatsen är i första hand en samhällsvetenskaplig kvalitativ studie.
Förstår inte, kan inte eller vill inte? : Implementering av Östergötlands regionala utvecklingsplan i lokala näringslivsstrategier
Tillväxtpolitik finns på nationell såväl som på regional och lokal nivå. Då den lokala nivån är närmast företagare i deras vardag spelar denna politik en avgörande roll förföretagsklimatet och tillväxten i regionen. Den nationella tillväxten är beroende av den regionala och lokala, varför en regional och lokal tillväxtpolitik är av stor vikt.Regeringen har därför gett olika regionala aktörer i uppdrag att utarbeta regionala utvecklingsplaner. I Östergötland är det regionförbundet Östsam som i samarbete med länets övriga aktörer fått detta till uppgift. Därför antogs 2006 Östgötaregionen 2020 Regionalt Utvecklingsprogram vilken behandlar den regionala tillväxten och utvecklingen.Den regionala planens målsättningar gällande näringsliv är enligt Länsstyrelsen till viss del möjliga att implementera i lokala näringslivsstrategier.
Strategies for social customer relationship management : the case of social media in the Swedish food industry
Consumption of meat and poultry has increased during the last ten years while the production in Sweden has decreased. Cheap imports are competing with Swedish products and consumers, restaurant and retail let the price decided what to purchase. Swedish food producers can become better at communicating the added values that meat and poultry produced in Sweden has. Social media gives companies a possible tool for communication in order to communicate and create a relationship with consumers. The rise of social media does not only affect consumer decisions making, but also corporate communication.
The objective of this project is to investigate how social media can connect the farmer to the consumer.
Att surfa på den demokratiska vågen En studie av e-demokrati och e-förvaltning ur ett demokratiperspektiv på regional nivå
Lately information- and communication technology (ICT) has been seen as an important tool to vitalize democracy. What kind of democracy it generates is however debateable. The objective with this thesis is therefore to examine what democratic ideal that dominates the use of ICT in Region Skåne and Västra Götalandsregionen and what kind of citizenship it brings. The two case studies were chosen because the Swedish regional level is facing a reorganization with democratic ambitions which in relation to ICT is fairly unexplored. To fulfil the objective there are two perspectives; e-democracy and e-administration, which are defined and integrated with democratic theory including Premfors´ "Fast, Strong and Thin" democratic ideals and Marshall´s three citizenship rights.
Konstruktion av en fotobioreaktor för odling av alger : ett småskaligt försök
The prevailing food and energy crisis of the world, due to the declining reserves of fossil energy and a never ending rise of consumption, forces us to look into new fields to supply our energy demand. The boom of bio energy is criticized, as food crops are used to provide biodiesel and ethanol and the volumes are ridiculously small to supply world demand. Algae are one of the world?s oldest life forms and exist in many different phyla, providing a great variety to choose from, for different purposes. Cultivating microalgae offer a way to produce energy at great volumes without competing with food production and at the same time the algae offer a way to use our expensive nutrients in a more efficient way, besides this the algae are carbon dioxide neutral since their carbon source can be supplied by the atmosphere and the additional energy required can be supplied by algal oil or other renewable sources.
Facklig anslutningsnedgång : Minskande medlemsantal och anslutningsgrad inom IF Metall
Uppsatsen består av en fallstudie av IF Metall där intervjuer utförts på tre nivåer inom fackförbundet, lokal, regional och central. Uppsatsen syftar till att visa på åsikter över rådande situation av anslutningsgradsnedgång inom facket, även sett ur en postfordistisk synvinkel.Uppsatsen använder sig av Anders Kjellbergs forskning kring facklig anslutningsgradsnedgång som forskningsläge vilket visar på en stadig nedgång med tillfälliga fluktueringar från 1970-talet till 2012, och syftet är att ge ett perspektiv inifrån IF Metall över rådande situation.Resultatet visar att det finns en diskrepans mellan regional och central nivå huruvida postfordism är ett utbrett fenomen och om det är ett arbetsätt som kommer spridas mer inom industrin i Sverige. Samtliga nivåer är överens om att regeringens agerande och höjningen av a-kassan var en stark orsak till senaste tidens anslutningsgradsnedgång. Även liberalisering och rådande kultur av individualism bland yngre generationer samt undermålig utbildning över facklig verksamhet från grundskolans nivå nämns som tänkbara orsaker till nedgången inom den fackliga rörelsen..
Tjustempiren : fallstudier av Casimirsborg och Blekhem
This paper concerning the regional architectural term known as the Tjust Empire style analyses manor houses built in the Tjust area by the east coast of Småland in the period 1810-1860. The term Tjust Empire style was invented in 1937 by PhD. Manne Hofrén in his dissertation on architecture in Kalmar län in the period 1650-1850. The aim of the paper is firstly to determine whether there is a distinct difference between the regional Tjust Empire style in architecture and the common Swedish empire style or as its Swedish equivalent is known; the Karl Johan style. Secondly, the paper strives to analyse why and how the Empire style became so popular in the area during this period, focusing on architecture as a means to express social identity and status.
Lågprisflygets påverkan på regioner : en studie av Stockholm
The purpose of the study is to investigate and elucidate how low-cost airlines can influence and develop tourism in a region. In order to bring about the purpose the author used two research questions. Have low-cost airlines contributed to regional development? How many additional visitors have low-cost airlines contributed to Stockholm? In order to answer these questions a survey was carried out at Arlanda airport and statistics were collected. The results of the study show that there has been a regional development.
Förslag på riskklassificeringsmodell av ekologiskt kontrollerade aktörer : En jämförelse med andra länders ekologiska kontroll
In order to facilitate trade between EU members, the European Committee has created regulations that will govern supervision of organic products. Every regulatory agency shall, according to the European Committees regulations, carry out a risk classification of each organic producer they regulate. This study for The National Food Administration compares regulation of Swedish organic products with other countries, and aims to produce a simplified model based on risk that can be the beginning of the risk classification model that Sweden in the current situation don?t have. The thesis is based on three questions: 1) What criteria should we use for assigning organic food producers? 2) How do selected European countries and frontrunners rate organic producers and what can Sweden learn from them? 3) How might a national classification model of organic production look in order to ensure an equivalent level of regulation and prevent competition among private inspection bodies? A review of information gathered from the different countries gave differing results.
Hyllad, ratad eller anonym : en studie om svenska konsumenters attityder till opastöriserad mjölk
In Sweden, all milk needs to be pasteurized. Unpasteurized milk [ OPM ] may only be sold in a smaller scale directly from the farmer to the consumer. The law was introduced in 1939, to prevent tuberculosis, which poses no threat today. There are other reasons, such as keepability and risk of pathogenic bacteria, why milk is pasteurized. Despite these risks, many consume OPM.
Konkurrens eller samarbete mellan kommuner - hur ser relationen ut inom turismnäringen? : Med perspektiv på större kommuner i Norrland
This paper is the result of a study of competition and cooperation in regard to tourism between the five largest municipalities in Norrland in northern Sweden. The municipalities are Luleå, Skellefteå, Umeå, Sundsvall and Gävle. The aim was to study the relation between competition and cooperation between these municipalities. An important theoretical aspect in this study is coopetition, where competition and cooperation occur at the same time. The studies on coopetition in the Nordic kontext is limited and the main literature on coopetition study the relationship between firms. This study however takes a geographical standpoint and aims to fill the gap in the literature on how competition and cooperation are connected to each other between chosen municipalities. To do this the tourism strategies of the municipalities were studied thoroughly. These written strategies provided information about how the municipalities view their competitive advantages and disadvantages and some general information about how they cooperate with the nearest regions. To find out how the municipalities think about competition and cooperation with the other four specific municipalities interviews were made with experts on the tourism field in each municipality. The results show that the municipalities do not have established strategies for how they are to be competitive compared with other specific municipalities. They do not see it as profitable to compete, instead they should complement each other. At the same time however, most of the municipalities mostly cooperate with municipalities in a short distance from them, and due to lack of resources only briefly or not at all with the municipalities studied here..
