The purpose of this paper is to study the rules of the bill 2007/08: 136 "Areformed sick-leave process of increased return to work" as related to therehabilitation chain. In the interpretation of the material I have used the ?practicallegal method? and a minor empirical study has been conducted to find out howRegion Skåne and UMAS adjust their activities to the new regulations.The government aims to reduce sick leave and on March 19, 2008,the above mentioned bill was presented to the Riksdag. The bill is a part of thegovernment's package of measures and contains proposals for a revised sick-leaveprocess. The rehabilitation chain is a part of the package and includes actions witha tighter schedule.The employer is still after the new rules playing a central role in thesick-leave process and must through early and continuous contact with theworkers start the rehabilitation process.

Ett balanserat aktivitetsmönster anses inom arbetsterapi vara en viktig komponent för att uppleva hälsa i aktivitet. Syftet med studien var att beskriva och förstå aktivitetsmönster och dess relation till upplevd tillfredsställelse med livet i allmänhet. Undersökningsgruppen rekryterades från en Region i norra Sverige och bestod av 40 personer med diagnosen seropositiv reumatoid artrit. Datainsamlingen genomfördes med instrumenten Occupational Questionair, Life Satisfaction Questionnaire och FRIES index, bearbetades i dataprogram och redovisades med deskriptiv statistik. Resultatet visade att undersökningsgruppen hade en likartad fördelning av sina aktiviteter under dygnet.

Modern sjukvård har blivit fragmenterad vilket medför nackdelar för patienter och personal. Teamarbete över professionsgränserna har identifierats som ett sätt att motverka fragmentering och erbjuda god heltäckande vård. Detta har relevans för hörselvården där många patienter behöver insatser från olika professioner. Arbetets syfte var att göra en kartläggning av teamarbete inom svensk offentlig hörselvård samt att undersöka hur teamarbetet ser ut. En totalundersökning har gjorts av Sveriges 21 landsting/Regioner.

Abstract Background: The World Health Organization has expressed a great concern about the increasing prevalence of childhood obesity. Region Västra Götaland (VGR) has developed a web based program to support school nurses in their work to promote health among children with obesity. Previous research on childhood obesity emphasizes the importance of support from nurses and how their work is organized. Aim: The aim of the study is, firstly, to explore school nurses experiences with health promotion work among obese children. Secondly, to investigate whether school nurses use the salutogenic theory of health.

As the use of smartphones and other mobile technology in our society is constantly increasing,so too does the possibilities of visually impaired persons increase as they are becoming moreable to enhance their quality of life with the help of mobile assistive technology. The purposeof this study was to explore how rehabilitation and habilitation organizations, which areworking with the visually impaired, should approach new technology. We have researched thisby examining the possibilities, opportunities and barriers of using mobile assistive technology.Based on this, we formulated the following research question: What factors are important forrehabilitation and habilitation organizations to consider in order to support, promote andcreate quality of life through the use of mobile assistive technology in their work with thevisually impaired? To answer the above question an exploratory study was made at an eyeclinic in the Västra Götaland Region. The study was done through a series of qualitativeinterviews with both staff and patients at the eye clinic.

The present study examines the demolition of a house on Hammarkulletorget in 1996 and the discourse of Hammarkullen, Gothenburg(Sweden), drawn from the perspective of historicization [?historisering?]. I have examined how the past played role inpresentations of Hammarkullen and how the past affected the decision to demolish a house. By examining which role the neighbourhood?spast time played in the perception of the neighbourhood, the thesis aims at providing a better understanding of howthe past can influence and legitimize major changes in the urban environment.In the early 1980s the image of Hammarkullen as a victim of negative publicity is established and this reputation lives beyond thesimplistic and negative descriptions themselfs.

Purpose of this thesis is to study the impact of wind turbines on their surroundings. It also aims to analyze how the communication looks between the authorities, the planner and local residents prior to the establishment of wind turbines in Lännäs/Odensbacken in Örebro, where three wind turbines set up in a group.The results of this survey show that the participants experience themselves not as especially disturbed of the turbines in the form of large noise, shadows, and sleep disturbance indoors and outdoors. Participants felt that no change had taken place on the natural environment (52%) since the turbines became operational. It was 49% of participants had got no information about the establishment of Örebro Municipality, Örebro County Administrative Board or Wind Power Company. Scientists/­experts had the highest confidence of 86%, politicians and the media/journalists had least confidence.

Denna studie är en del av ett större projekt, ?Tillit och tillväxt?, angående funktionsnedsättningar i ett tillväxtperspektiv. Studien avser att undersöka vilka attityder och förhållningssätt som en arbetsgrupp har gällande anställda med någon form av funktionsnedsättning på arbetsplatsen. Två fokusgrupper med fyra deltagare i varje grupp genomfördes med avsikt att besvara syftet. Fokusgrupperna tog plats på två företag som var i enlighet med projektets ramar; Region Värmland - en större Regionalstyrd organisation - och Innebandybutiken, som är ett mindre privatägt företag med en handfull anställda.Materialet från fokusgrupperna analyserades genom en tematisk analys, vilket innebar att dela upp och kategorisera samtalen i olika teman.

This project has been created with the assistance of Fredells. Fredells is a Stockholm based company with a focus on the retail of building products. Fredells also produces prefab- or prefabricated products which are either completely or partially ready for assembly the moment they arrive to the building site. These prefab-products are primarily delivered to customers within the Stockholm Region. The building industry is a conservative market where the incentive to changes has been relatively low compared to other industries.

Denna uppsats undersöker en medlemsorganisations roll och betydelse för utvecklingen av en klustermiljö, samt vilka möjligheter en sådan organisation har att förmedla vikten av sina insatser i och utanför ett nätverk. En kvalitativ metod har använts i form av intervjuer med personer inom den offentliga sektorn vars arbetsuppgifter berör näringslivet i ÖresundsRegionen. Dessutom ligger diskussioner med nyckelpersoner inom organisationen Medicon Valley Academy till grund för den empiriska studien. De teorier som används är: kluster, trippelhelix, Regional innovationsteori, nätverk, organising capacity och Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Fem kommuner från den svenska och danska sidan av Öresund utgör tillsammans med Köpenhamns och Skånes motsvarigheter till landsting den insamlade empirin.

The lack of housing in the Swedish metropolitan areas is today a well-known fact. This isespecially true for the Region in and around Stockholm. Due to the large amount ofmunicipality-owned land within Stockholm municipality the area for many new housingprojects are acquired through land allocation. How much time this process of land allocationconsumes for a typical project is today not really known. Equally unknown is the exactoutcome of the process, i.e.

Lack of dead wood is the main cause of decaying or loss of populations for many forest species. To increase the amount of dead wood is a prerequisite to maintain biodiversity in forests of northern Europe. In summer 2006 the recreation area Klåveröd, at Söderåsen in Skåne, Sweden, has been inventoried for high stumps (snags) of beech, (Fagus sylvatica). The result of the inventory has been compared with data of the real estate and forest management directories from the owner, Region Skåne. The results have also been matched with the results from an inventory of saproxylic beetles in 2005, performed with windowtraps on selected snags both in the area and the adjacent national park Söderåsen. 594 snags were found on 747 ha.

Detta examensarbete handlar om hur Åstorp, en mindre ort i nordvästra Skåne kan utveckla sin identitet och attraktivitet som Söderåsstaden. Syftet med examensarbetet är att undersöka, försöka förstå och med fokus på gestaltning ge förslag på utveckling av en mindre centralorts problematik med identitet och fortsatt utveckling i en konkurrensutsatt Region. Åstorp är ett relativt ungt samhälle som byggdes upp i samband med järnvägens etablering 1875. Åstorp är en liten inlandskommun med knappt 15 000 invånare beläggen mitt i det expansiva, nordvästra hörnet av Skåne. Kommunens centralort ligger alldeles intill Söderåsens nordvästra spets och har ett unikt läge tack vare järnvägsstationen med Pågatåg och den intilliggande naturen. Dock är kopplingen till Söderåsen otydlig och kommunen har en ambition att stärka denna. Kommunens vision för 2020 är: Åstorp ? Söderåsstaden där människor och företag möts och växer.

Den Svenska modellen har gått från en omfattande lagregleringsreform på 70-talet, till ett stadigt tillstånd där bland annat rättigheter så som förenings- och förhandlingsrätt, rätten till information samt fredsplikt skyddas genom kollektivavtal.Sveriges medlemskap i Europeiska unionen innebär att staten har överfört beslutsmakt till unionen och dess institutioner, vilket gör att unionen har en överstatlig karaktär där unionsrätten går före nationell rätt vid en konfliktsituation.Genom Sveriges medlemskap i Europeiska unionen har den Svenska modellen och framför allt kollektivavtalens ställning fått en annan betydelse. En av orsaken till detta att de svenska kollektivavtalen inte uppfyller unionens krav vid implementering av direktiv, då direktiven skall omfatta alla arbetstagare och arbetsgivare. Kollektivavtalen i Sverige binder endast de parter som avtalet är slutet mellan. Då kollektivavtalen inte kan användas som ett implementeringsinstrument måste Sverige implementera direktiv från unionen genom lagstiftning, som då inbegriper alla parter på arbetsmarknaden. Det medför en ökad lagstiftningsprocess, som innebär att beslutsbefogenheterna tas från arbetsmarknadsparterna och ges till staten.Inom många länder i Europa används så kallade allmängiltiga kollektivavtal.
