Riktlinjer för implementationen av Business Intelligence inom sjukvården : En explorativ studie av sjukvården i Region Halland

Business Intelligence är en samling verktyg för att utvinna och analysera information ur rådata inom en organisation samt ge bättre beslutsstöd grundat på denna. Det har traditionellt använts inom industrisektorn, men på senare tid har även sjukvårdssek- torn upptäckt fördelarna med ett välimplementerat system för Business Intelligence. Implementationen är emellertid en komplex process där mycket kan gå fel, och på grund av att sjukvårdssektorn relativt nyligen började använda sig utav Business Intel- ligence finns luckor i forskningen på området. Syftet med uppsatsen var att undersöka hur sjukvården i Region Halland samt involverade konsulter arbetar med implemen- tationen, och ta fram riktlinjer för hur detta bör ske. Uppsatsen baserades på en kvali- tativ ansats och använde sig av en explorativ studie med djupintervjuer där totalt fem personer från Region Halland samt två personer från ett IT-konsultbolag bidrog till uppsatsens resultat.

"Medan gräset gror, dör kon" : en utvärdering av Leader som verktyg för utveckling i Region Syd

Detta arbete bygger på en utvärdering av Leaderverksamheten i södra Sverige, som min kollega, Annika Jönsson, och jag genomförde under hösten 2013. Utvärderingen beställdes av Leaderområdena i Region Syd, som ville få fram hur metoden fungerat under programperioden 2007-2013. Syftet var att rapporten skulle ligga till grund inför det fortsatta arbetet med att utforma Leaders roll i framtiden. Leader är en av många metoder som bidrar till samhällsutvecklingen på landsbygden inom EU. Metoden har fungerat bra i Region Syd och bidragit till att många nya projekt förverkligats. Leader bidrar bland annat till att gemenskapen i bygden stärks, innovativa idéer föds och att samarbeten över sektorer inleds. Trots sina framgångar skulle metoden kunna förbättras och utvecklas inom vissa områden. Svårigheterna med den offentliga medfinansieringen och likviditetsproblemen hos en del av projekten gör att genomförandet försvåras och projekt läggs ner i förtid.

Munhålestatus hos arbetande hästar :

Seventy-two working horses (they had been ridden with bit and bridle within the last two weeks) were examined in the oral cavity. Findings and status were noted. The horses were randomly chosen among individuals without clinical symptoms from the mouth and gastrointestinal system. The result showed that 93% of the horses had changes in the mucus membranes, 86% in the form of ulcerations. The P2 region was most commonly affected followed by wounds more caudally in the mouth (P3-M3 region).

Det har under den senaste tiden varit debatt kring den individuella lönens nytta. Bör individer bedömas isolerat när de är en del av något större och blir de motiverade att prestera mer av individuell lönesättning? Syftet med denna uppsats var att undersöka tillvägagångssättet vid individuell lönesättning, på Vägverket, Region Norr. Vi ville även utreda om individuell lönesättning är motivationsskapande. Undersökningen utfördes genom personliga intervjuer med avdelningscheferna samt enkäter till samtliga medarbetare.

Den demokratiska regionen: en administrativ och demokratisk förändring i Halland

Syftet med denna uppsats är att med utgångspunkt från Dahls kriterier för demokrati, analysera huruvida Region Halland som organisation kan betraktas som demokratisk. En analysmodell grundad på Dahls polyarkikriterier omgjorda till påståenden om Region Halland har använts för att uppnå syftet. Påståendena är fattade utifrån frågeställningarna: 1) Är befattningshavarna i Region Halland valda i fria och opartiska val, där lika rösträtt råder? 2) Finns ett effektivt deltagande hos medborgarna i Region Halland? 3) Har medborgaren i Region Halland möjligheten till att alltid ha sista ordet, dvs. har medborgarna kontroll över dagordningen? 4) Värderar beslutsfattarna sitt beslut utifrån det som medborgarna önskar? 5) Råder ett allomfattande medborgarskap i Region Halland? Resultatet av analysen är att tre av fem uppställda påståenden är korrekt uppfyllda.

The continuous flow of people, capital and goods follows in the wake of advances in communications, transport and information technology, resulting in a changed situation for different stakeholders in the society. This situation leads to increased cooperation and exchange, but also increased competition. The primary means of collecting empirical data for this study was interviews and a document study.

Teater som forum för elevers sociala och konstnärliga utveckling : Ett relationellt perspektiv, en inkluderande verksamhet och interaktiva processer i teater på gymnasienivå

AbstractMaterial collected or created through observations, discussions and interviews with a group of students studying theatre in the fist year of upper secondary school formed the base for this paper. The students that took part in the observations showed a variety of motivations for the studies in theatre, but the major aim was to obtain qualifications for further studies at university. Special focus was put on a student with dyslexia attending the course in theatre from the perspective to strengthen general learning abilities. The training and teaching in acting skills as performed in the theatre studio provided the arena for the observations. The aim was to investigate if an interactive process as defined by Lev Vygotskij and the acting method created by Constantin Stanislavski would create social and artistic development among the students in the study.

Travelling by train has increased during the last decades in Sweden. This has put pressure on the existing infrastructure and has created problems with delays and cancelled departures. The railway is a complex system with mutual dependencies and high vulnerability for disruptions. The situation for the railway system in the Stockholm region is today strained. The capacity is fully used.

Det andliga i vården i ett sekulärt samhälle : Vårdforskarens uppfattning och patientens upplevelse

Aim: The purpose of this study was to highlight in what forms and manifestations spirituality emerges in medical patients whether they consider themselves believers or not. The other aim was to analyse spiritual ideas of nursing scientists ? authors of the patients? oriented studies to come to the better understanding of the situation with spirituality in caring. Method: Descriptive meta-synthesis was chosen, in which 12 nursing studies were analyzed and compiled in a new integrity. Results: The analysis shows that caregivers must be ready to meet and confirm the spiritual dimension consisting of Faith, Meaning, Relationship and Questions without answers in the various forms and expressions they emerge in patient?s experience.

En kommunikations hemlighet : En studie om externkommunikation inom en ideell organisation

My essey concern the non-profitable organization Ung företagsamhet and their extenal communication with collaborators. I have done three intervjues with three of Ung företagsamhets 24 district in Sweden, and these are Kalmar, Jönköping and Skåne. My qustions conserns their rethoric and strategic communications channales, and the focus lies in their external communications with collaborators. I have also made a secondary data analysis about their media coverage and seen how they consciously works with it.Ung Företagsamhet is a non-profit organization that need good partnerships in order to survive financially. My analysis shows that the three different regions works variously with their external communication.

Rösterna i Riksdagen : Samstämmighet mellan parti och person

The Voices of ParliamentCongruence between party and personThe purpose of this study is to determine the congruence between the opinions of members of parliament and their respective party policies, in order to further determine the cause of poor voter-party congruence and whether or not the individualization of the parliament could affect the character of legislation. To do so, the study asks two primary research questions;- "Are the communicated party policies representative of the opinions of the members of parliament?"- "Is the discrepancy between party policies and the opinions of the members of parliament sufficient for the individualization of parliament to substantially affect the parliament's decisions?"The study answers these questions by comparing the average of self-described left-right stances of members of parliament with the average of voter-described left-right stances of party policies, using existing survey data and a constructed left-right dimension. The lower average is then subtracted from the higher average, creating a value of congruence that is then inserted into a constructed congruence dimension. The primary findings of the study suggest that there is substantial congruence between party policies and the opinions of the members of parliament, and that the discrepancy between them is unlikely to substantially affect the parliament's decisions..

Relationer och projekt : En studie av det mellanmänskliga i det rationella

Projects are often spoken of in the terms of rational systems. However, some researchers point out the relevance of viewing projects as sets of relationships. Little is published about what aspects of relationships that are important for the managing of projects. We have argued for the necessity of such research. With previous research, our case study and interviews we indentified communication, responsibility, cooperation, togetherness and trust as important relational aspects in projects.The overall perceived success for projects in this case, was increased with the adoption of new agile methods.
