Individens hälsa har stor betydelse för hennes välmående och livskvalitet. Hälsa definieras utifrån fysiska, psykiska och sociala faktorer. Idag vet vi att individens hälsa påverkas av ett flertal faktorer som ligger utanför hälso- och sjukvårdens nuvarande ramar. En av de faktorer som anses påverka individens hälsa sammanfattas inom begreppet socialt kapital. Socialt kapital är ett resultat av att individer, grupper och organisationer investerat i resurser vilka bidragit till att utveckla goda sociala relationer.

This study focus on how physical and virtual meeting places may promote collaboration between firms and academia for the development of innovations. A case study was conducted on a meeting place that aims to support collaboration for the development of innovations in eHealth between different actors in the Linnaeus region. Data was collected through 6 interviews, whereas 3 with scientists and 3 with entrepreneurs. The data was analyzed based on a theoretical framework based on different perspectives on collaboration and networks, meetings and interaction and, physical and virtual meeting places.The results show that the purpose for collaboration is to be included in a network with other actors in the same area, gain increased knowledge of the subject area and to acquire new external contacts. Furthermore, in order to support collaboration, physical meeting places have to organize effective and interesting meetings.

In Sweden regulations stipulates that dairy cows are kept on pasture, or given the opportunity to spend time outside during a coherent period of between two to four months, depending on region. The transition out to pasture is a big change from the winter period in the stable, especially for the modern high yielding dairy cows. The let out to pasture includes a change in feed, environment, and new routines. There are indications that the milk somatic cell count (SCC) rises in a peak shortly after the let out. The purpose of this study was to see if peaks in the SCC could be observed after the let out, and to study the contribution of inflammatory cells (neutrophils) and if the milk composition are affected. The study included 35 cows that were kept in stable during the winter.

I denna uppsats har ämnet Kommunal Samverkan behandlats. Det innefattar en fallstudie av nätverket Skåne Nordost. Syftet med den här uppsatsen är att öka kunskapen om varför kommuner samverkar samt hur interkommunala samverkansprocesser kan tolkas och förstås. Tillvägagångssättet av studien inleddes med intervjuer med viktiga nyckelpersoner inom nätverket. För att teoretiskt kunna tolka och förstå samverkan har vi valt att utgå ifrån ett nätverksteoretiskt perspektiv.

Till år 2030 är målet att Kalmar län ska bli en fossilbränslefri region. Den största potentialen anses finnas inom nya alternativ till fordonsbränsle. Hushållens sopor innehåller organiskt matavfall som skulle kunna bli fordonsgas.

The climate changes that are occuring in the world have resulted in that the EU callingfor a 20 % reduction in energy consumption to the year 2020, to reach that goal theEU want the public sector to go forth as a good example. Västfastigheter owns andmanage the hospital buildings in the Västra Götaland region. To be able to reducetheir energy usage Västfastigheter has hired several consulting firms to chart out theenergy consumption on each hospital building. The biggest energy savings potentialhave been calculated and what the cost will be to perform each action. The energyaudit have been completed and stand as the decision basis for Västfastigheter?s choiceon which action packages that should be implemented.

Under de två senaste decennierna har regionernas roll i den ekonomiska utvecklingen vuxit och idag talas det till och med om regionernas renässans. Länge har den regionala utvecklingen dock setts som ett resultat av det som sker på de nationella och internationella marknaderna. I takt med utvecklingen av en teori om endogen tillväxt har förståelsen att se regionen som en storhet i utvecklingen vuxit. En nations ekonomiska utveckling bör idag ses som summan av regionernas utveckling och inte behandlas som en exogent given faktor. Den regionalekonomiska utvecklingen beror på förutsättningarna inne i en region.

In Sweden according to the planning and building Act municipalities have planning monopoly. The question about shopping centres in the outskirts of cities is a regional issue, because they attract customers from a large area. Municipalities often find it hard to assert themselves against large commercial companies when it comes to their establishing new retail outlets on the outskirts of cities. Without a regional co-operation there is a risk that municipalities can be played up against one another, so that more and more companies are given permits without the municipalities having taken the strategic consideration necessary for a long term sustainable development. The focus in this work is on four municipalities in the Södertörn region (Södertälje, Botkyrka, Huddinge and Nynäshamn).

Projektledare inom Vägverket har i de flesta fall mer än ett projekt att hålla reda på, detta innebär att det kan var svårt att göra platsbesök och därmed veta hur projektet förlöper. Det är här byggledarna kommer in, som en förlängd arm åt projektledarna som kan vara på plats och på sätt ge daglig information till projektledaren om så krävs. I dagsläget finns det ingen vedertagen beskrivning om hur en byggledare ska arbeta, utan det skiljer sig mellan regionerna i Vägverket. Genom att precisera byggledarens roll i projektet skulle arbetet bli mer effektivt och tydligare för projektorganisationen. Syftet med undersökningen var att förstå och beskriva projektledarnas förväntningar och krav på byggledarna.

I dagens samhälle är det allt fler som ägnar sig åt styrketräning på gym oberoende av kön, aktivitetsnivå eller klasstillhörighet. Detta har lett till en stor ökning av antalet gym under slutet av 1900 talet. Styrketräning kan av olika personer bedrivas med olika syften. För en individ kan det vara en kompletterande träning till ordinarie idrott, eller en motionsform för allmänt välbefinnande. Träningsformen används även som rehabilitering efter skada.

Ett sätt för en verksamhet att utvecklas och bli starkare kan vara genom samverkan. Det blir alltfler aktörer som förstår vikten av att samverka för att nå ut till turisterna och bli mer konkurrenskraftiga. Inom turismbranschen ses samverkan som en nödvändighet för att bli mer attraktiv och konkurrenskraftig. Det är viktigt att ta hänsyn till betydelsen av det man får ut av samverkan, då det kan skapas en gemenskap och närhet mellan de inblandade parterna i samverkansprocessen.Vilka typer av samverkansformer förekommer i turismnäringen? Syftet med uppsatsen är att inventera samverkansformer inom turismnäringen genom fallstudier av tre regionalt viktiga verksamheter.

Luftkyld hyttsten används sedan mer än 30 år i stället för naturmaterial som förstärkningslager i vägar. Flertalet laboratorieundersökningar av hyttstens E-modul har utförts och visat på höga E-moduler. Som ett led i undersökningen av den E-modul materialet får i verkligheten har Vägverket Region Norr, samfinansierat med SSAB och BDX, låtit utföra fallviktsmätningar av sex vägar i Norrbotten. De valda vägarna skiljer sig åt i ålder och karaktär, från grusväg till högtrafikerad fyrfältsväg och från nybyggd till nästan 20 år gammal. Målet med detta examensarbete har varit att utvidga analysen av vägarna och söka samband mellan E-modulen och vägarnas skadebild, underhållsbehov och ålder samt mellan E-modulen och den nedkrossning av materialet som eventuellt skett på grund av den trafiklast det utsatts för.

The release of green house gases and the environmental impacts humans have on the environment are huge and might cause irreversible changes to our earth. Meat is considered to have large impacts on the environment, especially beef meat and therefore there have lately been considerable discussions on the sustainable level of meat consumption and production. The main goal with this thesis is to study sustainable meat production and meat consumption in the county of Dalarna in Sweden. Indicators for sustainable meat production and meat consumption were developed and applied on three cases. Interviews were carried out with a municipality in the region that represents the consumer and three beef farmers that represents the producers.

Despite the fact that mandatory financial auditing has been abolished for small private public companies in Sweden we still see this service being used by these firms. Earlier research, papers and published articles tend to focus on the abolishment of the mandatory audits seen from the accountant?s point of view. There has however been less emphasis on the fact that 85 percept of the companies relived from the mandatory audits still utilises this service. We think that we have found a new and until now unexplored angel on this subject, and the purpose of our study has been to explore what the Swedish bank officials and what the Swedish Tax Agency?s officials think that they have to gain from a mandatory financial audit.The scientific method used in the study is deduction due to the fact that existing theories has been used to form the hypothesis.

The purpose is to understand the planning process for residential buildings and toinvestigate the consequences of the choices made in the process. The project will alsoprovide broader knowledge in the design and development under the current law andpractice.The goal is to present a proposal on how a city near the site where water can bedesigned from a sustainable perspective. How can a residential neighborhood be anenvironmentally sound and sustainable region? New systems and techniques havebeen presented previously in terms of sustainable environments and these are intendedof being used in the project Quarter Water-mirror.The project has been implemented on the computer program ArchiCAD in whichdrawings and visualizations have been carried out. These drawings are included asannexes to the report.For information, calculations and drawings, laws for physical planning and Swedishstandard have been followed.Residential buildings have been designed on a site, which is 2, 5 hectares.
