Den övergripande avsikten med denna uppsats är att försöka ge en nyanserad bild av organisationsreceptet Lean Production. Vidare försöker jag utröna vilka potentiella vinster och risker som kan tänkas uppträda i samband med implementeringen av Lean Healthcare på Universitetssjukhuset i Lund. Utgångspunkten för denna analys är Region Skånes verksamhetsmål gällande personal, patienter och ekonomi. Analysen visar att det inte är helt okontroversiellt eller oproblematiskt att anpassa och införa produktionssystemet. Allvarligast verkar konsekvenserna kunna bli för tillgodoseendet av personalmålen, medan det ser mindre problematiskt ut gällande de ekonomiska målen och patientmålen.

Since June 1, 2006 there are nospecific requirements or quantitative values for air leakage.Although the swedish national board of housing does presentrequirement that the building envelope must be sealed so that theclient?s requirements for specific energy consumption and installedelectric power for heating purposes are met. Despite this, studiesfrom SP shows that few buildings meet the client?s requirements inspecific energy, which increases the risk of occurrence ofcondensation-related moisture damage.This study aims to evaluate curtain walls connections from airsecurity and moisture safety.

New parts ofthe city is about to grow up that reinforces the image ofMalmö's new identity.The next step in Malmö's development is to make thecity even denser and interconnect the inner city and thesuburbs to create a more sustainable city.

This thesis raises the problem with acid mine drainage around the closed mine Finngruvan.The purpose of the investigation was to compare metal content in surface water in the areaand its catchments between year 2010 and 2003, also to make calculation of specific runoffand metal load, furthermore determine the recipients in the area. Surface water samplingwhere preformed at the same place as 2003 and also at a few other places of interest. Adigital elevation file were used in GIS to calculate the area of the watersheds in the region,observations in the field where also made. The collected data were used to make comparisons,calculations and conclusions. The result showed that the surface water 2010 had somewhatlower metal concentrations.

Analysen visar på att flygplatsfrågan är en diskussion som byggs utifrån en ekonomisk representation, där olika bilder framträder. Samarbete och tillväxt är två tankelinjer i flygplatsfrågan. I materialet framträder tankar kring samarbete, både som något svårt att lösa men också nödvändigt för utveckling och framtid. Den andra framträdande tanken bygger på tillväxt, en konkurrenstanke kring ökning av produktion och marknadsvinster. Konkurrenstanken är starkt närvarande i både samarbets- och tillväxtdiskussionerna, samtidigt framstår i analysen en alternativ konkurrensbild växa fram.

Detta är en kandidatuppsats inom företagsekonomi med inriktning marknadsföring vid Handels- och IT-Högskolan i Borås. Denna studie är inriktad på hur internationella investerare inom kulturella och kreativa näringar attraheras till en stad. Kulturella och kreativa näringar skiljer sig från hur internationella investerare traditionellt attraheras till en stad. Vi har upptäckt ett glapp i litteraturen, att det inte finns modeller som är inriktade på att attrahera internationella investerare till kulturella och kreativa näringar. I studien används Stockholm Business Region Development som ett fall och studien utgår från deras arbetssätt med att attrahera investerare till staden.

Dialekter jämnas allt mer ut och utpräglade dialekter är sällsynta i dagens samhälle. I denna utjämning har skolan spelat en stor roll då det under 1800-talet förespråkades en utrotningspedagogik på grund av språkliga fördomar. Trots att det idag finns en större medvetenhet om dialektens betydelse för den enskilda individen är skolans språknorm ännu rikssvenska. Denna studie har för avsikt att undersöka hur lärare hanterar motsättningen mellan skolans språknorm och elevers identitetsutveckling i sin yrkesroll. Deras egna dialektbruk och dialektattityder studerades för att få en uppfattning om hur de förhåller sig till dialekter i klassrummet.För att undersöka hur verksamma lärare i de lägre årskurserna på Gotland förhåller sig till dialekter genomfördes en enkätundersökning och en intervjuundersökning.

This master's essay is about seasonality in Bristols slave trade until the American Revolution 1776. The essay uses the Voyages database as the primary material. The essay's method is to study monthly distribution at different points of the slave trade ? the departure from Bristol and the arrival at the American destination. The seasonality of slave purchases in Africa is primarly studied through the monthly distribution of departures from Bristol for a specific region in Africa.

This thesis examines the perception and use of the school library for students at an Upper Secondary School. The school has a high frequent of immigrant students, and the students interviewed all have an immigrant background. The intention was to find out how the students used the school library and what perception they have of the school library. The method used was semi-structured interviews with eight students, both males and females, who studies different educational programs. The instrument of theory was that from Elisabeth Tallaksen Rafste?s theoretical framework.

When traffic in large cities increases, it becomes more vulnerable to disturbances such as accidents, stalled vehicles or construction; therefore, traffic jams are more likely to occur. For better control of the traffic at a disturbance the Swedish National Road Administration (SNRA) has traffic equipment which can be controlled from a command centre. This traffic equipment consists of gates and signs with variable messages. This report will discuss the system used for traffic control in Stockholm. It will present proposals designed to improve it.

Syftet är att beskriva och analysera hur Swedbanks ekonomistyrning på region- och lokalkontorsnivå är utformad, med tyngdpunkt på balanserat styrkort och budget. Vi använder en kvalitativ strategi med abduktiv ansats och semi-strukturerade intervjuer. Genom att använda ett ramverk för strategiimplementering och modeller för balanserat styrkort, budgetering, belöningssystem och organisationsstruktur analyseras vårt empiriska material. Empirin bygger på dokumenterad information om Swedbank samt resultat från ett flertal intervjuer. Slutsatser:Swedbank använder sig av balanserat styrkort i kombination med budget.

Plant nutrients are important for all life on earth and are also important as fertiliser infood production all over the world. Because of this, plant nutrients are of great valuebut they also bring problems. As an example, the loss of nitrogen and phosphorusfrom agriculture and urban society's sewage systems contributes to some of today?smajor problems in water environment. Another problem associated with plantnutrients is that finite recourses are used in the production of mineral fertilizers.

Fire has historically been of great ecological importance in the boreal forests of Sweden. The forest fire regime has, however, varied between different parts of the country. The objective of this thesis is therefore to investigate the fire history in Fulufjället National Park and, on this basis, give suggestions for future fire management. The reconstruction of fire history was done by cross-dating fire scars in samples taken from living and dead Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). Local fire chronologies were established at 17 points in the forests in and around Fulufjället National Park by cross-dating fire scars on 54 samples. The oldest year-ring dated from year 968.
