No matter what subject or which grade you are active in, the teachers in Sweden have incommon that they are provided with governing documents that states the guidelines and goalsregarding each subject. Along with these governing documents every teacher has to findmaterial that will be used as the foundation of the teaching. This thesis is a study of howSwedish history teachers define what material they are going to use in their teaching, andwhich the factors are that is affecting these choices. The question whether a child?s ethnicaland cultural background is a factor that affects this choice of material is concerned, as well aswhat is current in Sweden and the world.

One can find it problematic to communicate in today?s information society and therefore has the importance of distributing information the right way grown. KSL Trading Inc is a trading company in the Jönkoping area that distributesmaterial for the furniture and interior design industry.The purpose of this report is to analyze the existing material flow andwarehouse layout as well as to identify the issues there are today at KSL?swarehouse for board material. When we identified what kind of problems thatexisted we were able to design a new plan for the material flow and storagepossibilities. The problems we found where:? There is no well-organised warehouse layout? There are no routines to keep the warehouse clean and in order? There is no formed plan how to handle materialTo solve these problems we have used different methods like interviews,observations, calculations and literature studies.

Länsförsäkringar in Värmland, Sweden, had during the year 2003 a total level of 6.1 percent of people on the sick-list, which was higher than average in the business (4,5%) and for salaried employees in the private sector (3,3%). The average age of those put on sick-list was 47 years, whish is four years higher than the average for the whole LF-group. The cost for the total amount of people being on sick-list at LF-company (6,1%) was estimated to 1 500 kkr, according to a calculation model coming from Försäkringskassan. For every percent the sick level could be reduced, the company would save 239 kkr. To map out the state of health of each and every collaborator in LF, the company offered all employees to make a health profile at the company's health service, Clarahälsan AB.

This thesis is a feasibility study for a future product development project. The purpose ofthis project is to evaluate the possibilities and difficulties associated with the design of anelectric power assist servo for all terrain vehicles (ATVs). The project has been carriedout in collaboration with Nira Control AB. Nira designs and manufactures electric andelectro mechanic products mainly for the motor sport market segment.Nira Control AB is developing a fuel injection system for a new line of large ATVs oncommission. To be able to compete with manufacturers like Yamaha and Honda thecommissioner should be able to offer optional power assist steering.

Abstract The purpose of this degree project is to examine what impact working with physical objects has on children?s learning process concerning addition. We want to explore what addition strategies can be exercised using the game ?Twice as much?. We have observed children in school year 1.

Resultatet av denna undersökning och detta arbete har visat på ett ifrågasättande av systemet, av såväl anställda som chefer. Huvudanledningarna är framförallt okontrollerbarheten, den låga motivationsfaktorn och vad belöningen grundar sig på. Vår slutprodukt består av ett antal förslag till förbättringar av Kopparmyntet inom Swedbank.

Denna undersökning belyser materialet, dess placering och användning i förskolan. Studien är genomförd ur ett lärarperspektiv för att ge en förståelse hur material bör placeras för att ge barnen i förskolan tillgång till det material som finns där. Vidare undersöker studien pedagogernas användning av materialet i arbetet med barnen i förskolan och pedagogers uppfattning om dess placering och tillgänglighet. Syftet har varit att undersöka hur pedagoger i arbetet med barnen använder materialet i förskolan och hur det är placerat. Vidare har syftet varit att undersöka om det finns idéer kring materialets placering och om dessa har diskuterats bland pedagogerna. Som metod för denna undersökning har intervjuer av ett arbetslag använts som underlag. Detta för att se om idéer kring materialets betydelse förekommer hos pedagogerna och för att undersöka hur det placeras. En slutsats av undersökningen visar att en viss diskussion kring materialet och dess placering verkar förekomma hos pedagogerna sinsemellan.

Uppsatsen behandlar våldtäkt som krigföring och hur fenomenet kan förstås med ett intersektionellt perspektiv. Detta har vi gjort utifrån fallstudien som metod då vi har låtit en dom från the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY), vilken behandlar en rad händelser i staden Foca, Bosnien-Hercegovina, stå som det huvudsakliga empiriska exemplet. I analysen utgår vi från denna dom samt tidigare forskning för att komplettera empirin, men även för att föra vidare teoretiska diskussioner om våldtäkt som krigföring utifrån vårt intersektionella perspektiv. Detta innebär att vi visar på hur olika maktstrukturer samverkar och vad de har för betydelse för det granskade fenomenet, något som den tidigare forskningen har saknat hittills. Utifrån de socialt konstruerade kategorierna kön, genus, "ras"/etnicitet, religion, nationalism och sexualitet erbjuder uppsatsen förklaringar till användandet av våldtäkt som krigföring, vilka alla går ut på att "de andra" skall nedvärderas samtidigt som den egna identiteten uppvärderas.

Vi vill reda ut vilka olika faktorer som kan ha betydelse för bloggar som trovärdig marknadsföringskanal.Vi har använt oss av en kvalitativ ansats för att få en djupare förståelse för bloggar som ett marknadsföringsverktyg. Genom en deduktiv metod har vår teoretiska referensram utgjort utgångspunkten för vår empiriska data.  Vårt empiriska material har vi samlat in genom sex genomförda personliga intervjuer med bloggrelaterade personer. Därefter har vi ställt vårt resultat i relation till vår teori och utifrån vår frågeställning fört en diskussion.Företag kan inte styra vad bloggaren skriver och det är viktigt att bloggen får behålla sin personliga karaktär, då det styrker trovärdigheten för denne som marknadsföringskanal. Bloggen ska inte verka i säljande syfte, utan mer som rekommendationer till läsarna. Bloggare kan i vissa sammanhang agera som opinionsledare och besitter förmågan att påverka en stor grupp av människor.

This degree thesis is based on an assignment from BEOMAT in Storfors. BEOMAT is a company that constructs and sellsclay pigeons to both the national and international market.Our main purpose with this paper is to find a solution/system that can replace the expensive and space demandingOlympic trap facility. Our solution will replace fifteen clay pigeon throwers with one automatic thrower whosimulate all throwers together. The system will be provided with an appropriate control system for mass productiontherefore this system needs to be user-friendly so no previous knowledge is required.Totally 405 different throw coordinates will be stored in the programme in nine different subprograms. According tothe Olympic-rules the throwers should coincidence within certain specified conditions, this will be solved with anrandomizer in the programme.

The purpose of this study was to understand how the concept of quality as an idea was spread to and translated in municipal elderly care. A central question was: How does literature, policy documents and key people describe the function and meaning of the concept of quality? The method of analysis was a qualitative case study with a critical discourse. The theoretical framework of the study is mainly what is known as institutional theory and a line of thought describing how ideas are transferred and spread. The theoretical focus is on how original ideas are interpreted and why they gain a foothold in new contexts.

The mining company LKAB extracts iron ore in three areas in the north of Sweden, Kiruna, Malmberget and Svappavaara. The iron ore is refined and in the pelletizing plants the material is rolled to finished pellet product. The different steps of pelletizing plants causes among other things emissions to the air. It occurs occasionally stops in the production and the emissions are vented via an emergency chimney without purification. The aim for this work is to look into how LKAB may improve their monitoring of air emissions and control of ambient air quality and the analysis methods which are suitable for measuring.
