The aim of this master thesis is to obtain a greater understanding of childrens choice of favourite books, insight in their reading experiences and their thoughts about the reading of these books. We also want to investigate if, and if so, how childrens librarians obtain knowledge of the childrens reading preferences and reading experiences and how they use this knowledge in their work to stimulate childrens reading. To reach our aim we have been carrying out quantitative interviews with six children aged nine to ten years and three childrens librarians working in public libraries. As a theoretical starting point we use the reader-oriented theory and Chambers Reading circle, which states that support from adults is the most important factor in the childs reading process. The empirical results are linked to theories and earlier research and are analysed under four different themes.

Studien syftade till att undersöka hur psykologer upplever skapandet av sin profession under den praktiska tjänstgöringsperioden. Vi använde oss av grundad teori som kvalitativ metod för datainsamling och databearbetning. Vi intervjuade 14 psykologer och fann ett antal centrala teman som var återkommande i intervjuberättelserna. Dessa handlade om hur sociala interaktioner med omgivningen påverkade den egna processen i att bli psykolog. Datamaterialet genererade en teori som visar hur psykologen under PTP-året är en del i ett möte och interaktion med organisation, erfarenheter, utveckling och den egna individen.

Sedan 70-talet och o?kningen av kvinnornas deltagande pa? arbetsmarknaden har hemarbetets fo?rdelning diskuterats som en viktig ja?msta?lldhetsfra?ga i Sverige. Det anses inte la?ngre givet att kvinnor ska sta? fo?r matlagning medan ma?n ska sta? fo?r fo?rso?rjning, da? ma?nga av de tidigare ko?nsbaserade skyldigheterna inte la?ngre har samma legitimitet. Ma?nga tidigare studier har utfo?rts kring hemarbete, ofta i syfte att studera arbetsfo?rdelning i familjer med barn.

Det är av vikt att professioner har en teoretisk grund att luta sig mot och att teorin införlivas i praktiken. Inom arbetsterapin försvåras detta av att professionen har brottats med paradigmskiften, vilket i sin tur har bidragit till en stor mängd av tyst kunskap inom yrket. Syftet med denna studie var att beskriva hur arbetsterapeuter i den kliniska verksamheten resonerar kring användandet av arbetsterapeutisk teori, främst vid användandet av processer och modeller. Sju arbetsterapeuter intervjuades i denna kvalitativa studie. De delgav sina tankar och resonemang angående användandet av arbetsterapeutisk teori i arbetet.

In Sweden it is of major concern to the society that every individual get the same possibilities to be able to complete and affect their education. Despite this some students with a foreign background have difficulties when it comes to homework?s. This is contrary to the goals that the government strives for, which is a more just society. The aim of this study is to analyze five elementary schoolteacher?s experiences and attitudes against the homework for students with two languages.

The Thesis purpose is in the context of system development validate the Scrum Methodology. Projects concerning information technology are difficult to manage and tend to fail in quality, time or costs. Scrum presents a new view of the system development. Better cooperation between customers and developers, continuous follow-up on daily basis and extensive communication in the development team are all characteristics of Scrum. Scrum is described as a new paradigm by its founders but has been criticized by experts of system development too.

AimThe aim of this study has been to examine how health enhancement teachers in Montana, USA, view the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.In what way does the health enhancement teacher think the importance of physical activity from a lifelong perspective could be presented?What resources are available for teachers to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective?MethodThe issue has been answered through qualitative interviews consisting of six health enhancement teachers, four women and two men, in Montana, USA. One of the teachers worked at an elementary school (for 30 years), three teachers worked at middle schools (20, 10 and 8 years of work experience) and two of the teachers interviewed worked at a high school (30 and 3 years).  ResultsThe majority of teachers feel that a wide variety of activities, adapted to an individual level, and the understanding of a healthy lifestyle are important in order for the teacher to present the value of physical activity from a lifelong perspective.The teachers felt they had sufficient material in order to present the value of physical activity, where the school budget provided the teachers with materials every year. The soil acidification and the pH-value of the soil have been discussed for many years. Many observations of the tree species effects on the soil pH have been done. We have discussed the effects on the soil surface pH-value with a birch (Betula spp. L.) admixture in Norway spruce stands (Picea abies L.).We have used data from the Swedish National Forest Inventory. We have also discussed how the wood production and the biodiversity can be increased in mixed stands, in according to the Swedish forestry act Skogsvårdslagen. Our sampling areas are located in Norrland, Sweden. The results show a significant correlation between an increased birch admixture and an increased pH-value of the soil.

This thesis deals with the concept of how price affects demand for a good by estimating various price elasticities of demand for snu sold in Sweden. Information was gathered on price development for snus and cigarettes as well as sales data from Swedish Match, the largest supplier of snus in Sweden. Income-, price- and cross-price elasticities were estimated based on log-log regression. Results show that snus is an inelastic good since the coefficient for price of snus was -0.536. This proved that a 1% increase in price causes a 0.536% decrease in quantity demanded.

Den har även som syfte att hitta och jämföra argumenten i debatten om Skåne som region och Västra Götaland som region. I bakgrunden redovisas begreppet region och även hur de regionala frågorna växte fram i Sverige och Skåne. Teorin som används för att undersöka om argumentationen är rationell är modellen The Rational Actor. Undersökningen bygger på en argumentationsanalys där argumenten är strukturerade i Pro- respektive Contra-argument.
