The purpose of this work was to see if it was possible to rebuild an old dairy house into a house fore sheep production. The goals fore the work was to see witch kind of production model was suitable, how the actual drawing would look like and witch kind of interior was needed. The building was built in the beginning of 1900. It is located on the mountain Kinnekulle in Sweden. It was a big production fore its time and hade about 60 dairy cows. It was a lot of hard work because the floor was built by big stone blocks and it was very hard to rebuild when some more automatic solutions came fore handling all the manure. The idea of remaking the building came when we rebuilt the roof fore 5 years ago.

The beauty industry has experienced a turnover increase of 220 % the last 20 years (Jones, 2010). At the moment the market for men's skin care is seeing the fastest growth rate in the cosmetic industry and multinational companies such as Procter and Gamble and L'Oréal have identified a "multibillion-dollar potential" within the segment. BUT - fresh research from the category leading company L'Oréal, shows that only 48 % of the male consumers use a skin care product specially adapted for men. It further shows that as many as 28 % of these do not even know how that skin care product got into their bathroom cabinet. The purpose of this paper is to get a deeper insight into men's relationship with skin care products and grooming.

Recently, the selections of ethical funds are increased; at the same time investors with social and moral preferences have increased in the capital market. There are currently debates on whether ethical funds perform better or worse than funds without ethical criteria. This also involves a vivid discussion on whether investors know about the consequences of investing in ethical funds. Therefore, this study involves theories about the rationality and decision theory, in addition to what mainly control the investment decisions. The study also discusses portfolio theory since this is one of the underlying theories behind fund management and its development.The purpose of this study is to explain if ethical limitations in the selection of securities affect risk and return in the fund portfolio.

The construction industry works today with a time limit, therefore it is important to have rational tools to improve the efficiency in the building process. That?s the reason for this report, where a standard for interior finishes has been developed for Sandvik. The standard for interior finishes is designed as a program for room functions and includes office space and sanitary areas. It is a proposal showing how Sandvik can design their premises in the future.

              Sammanfattning Pedagogers möte med elever i matematiksvårigheter En intervjustudie om hur pedagoger tänker och arbetar när de möter elever i matematiksvårigheter samt dessa elevers uppfattningar om undervisningen och lärandet i matematik. Jeanette Ekberg och Rose-Marie Israelsson, VT 2009 The teacher´s meeting with students in mathematics difficulties Antal sidor: 59Syftet med vårt examensarbete är att undersöka vilka uppfattningar verksamma lärare har om elever i matematiksvårigheter, hur de arbetar för att stödja dessa elever samt hur eleverna själva tänker om sin undervisning, sitt lärande och svårigheterna. Vår bakgrund består av en litteraturgenomgång där vi har sammanställt begrepp, utvärderingar samt forskning och litteratur som berör området matematiksvårigheter och matematikundervisningen. I vårt arbete har vi använt oss av kvalitativa, semi - strukturerade intervjuer som metod. Vi har intervjuat fem pedagoger som undervisar i matematik i år 4 och 5 samt 12 av deras elever i matematiksvårigheter. Genom examensarbetet har vi fått fördjupad insikt i hur pedagoger uppfattar matematiksvårigheter och vilka strategier de använder för att hjälpa elever i matematiksvårigheter. Vårt resultat pekar på en undervisning som för pedagogernas del är komplex och där det finns svårigheter att anpassa undervisningen för att möta varje individ. Orsakerna till elevernas svårigheter finns enligt pedagogerna hos eleven eller i hemmet.

Den bostadspolitik som förts de senaste två decennierna har gett oss en alltmer segregerad stadskärna i Stockholm. Byggsubventionernas avveckling på 90-talet har lett till en historiskt låg byggtakt och ett byggande som ensidigt riktat sig till resursstarka grupper i samhället.Parallellt med detta har stora delar av hyresbeståndet ombildats till bostadsrätter vilket medfört att många relativt billiga hyreslägenheter i äldre fastigheter har försvunnit ur beståndet. Dessa är svåra att ersätta med nyproduktion, då dessa är dyrare.Kärnproblemet är förstås att det är dyrt att bygga hus och om man antar att den nuvarande bostadspolitiken består är det ytterst angeläget att utveckla kostnadseffektiva byggmetoder för att möjliggöra lägenheter med överkomliga hyror som kan bidra till att motverka boendesegregationen på sikt.Vårt förslag består av ett bostadshus i Stadshagen. Fastigheten är indelad i två byggnadskroppar som länkas samman via ett system av loftgångar kopplade till ett trapphus. Husen är uppbyggda av volymelement som staplats på en platsgjuten sockel.

This study aims to investigate how, in Montesquieu?s Persian Letters (1721), religion and religious structures are presented to influence women?s position in French society.In Persian Letters Montesquieu presents a dogmatic religious life, which proceed from a literal interpretation of the bible. Such a reading raises critical questions concerning the nature of women, and subsequently places man over woman. Persian Letters show how this male dominance gets institutionalized in marriage. The religious life depicted is also distinguished by a non-genuine religious conviction and by acts which take on a simulation form.

But my main concern with this essay must be thought of as a brief and personal mapping of Christian belief and it´s rational status in relation to both basic philosophy and the other great religious traditions. Furthermore, I am anxious to widen the perspectives of that which theoretically can be considered substantially real, and the existential consequences that follows on such a study. In doing so I must make sure that it´s properly anchored in history of both philosophy and religion, and of course ? with the general idea of God.

Denna studie undersöker hur premiepensionssparare tar beslut och vad som ligger till grund för valet att vara aktiv eller passiv i syfte att skapa ökad förståelse och underlätta utformningen av ett ökat beslutsstöd för premiepensionsspararna. Tidigare studier har visat att premiepensionssparare som är kontinuerligt aktiva i sin placering är de som får högst avkastning på sin premiepension, ändå är en stor andel av svenska premiepensionssparare passiva. Studien undersöker några av de faktorer och tankesätt som ligger till grund för att en stor andel av svenska premiepensionssparare inte tar beslut som förväntas enligt teoretiska beslutsteorier som förutsätter rationalitet. Som verktyg för att undersöka och öka förståelsen för premiepensionssparares beslutsfattande används prospect theory som är en alternativ teori till den klassiska ekonomiska teorin om ekonomiskt beslutsfattande. Studien grundar sig i problematiken som uppstår när samhällsutvecklingen allt mer skapar större informationsflöde samtidigt som allt mer beslut och risk läggs på individen.

Composting is a process in which organic matter is mineralized by microorganisms. In January 2005 landfilling of organic waste was prohibited in Sweden. With this prohibition composting has become an important alternative to handle the produced organic wastes. One problem with continuous small-scale composting is the production of organic acids that will inhibit a further composting process. The aim of these theses was to study what effects temperature and dry matter content had on the production of organics acids, and what effect the organic acids had on the mineralisation of the substrate as well as the stability during storage of the product.

In order to produce grain in an economically rational manner numerous decisions have to be made. One of these decisions is what tillage system to use. The cost of the tillage system is a large part of the total cost in grain production. Different tillage systems result in different distribution of fixed costs, operating costs and timeliness costs. The price of the produced grain and cost of inputs also affect the best way to produce grain.

Syftet med denna uppsats är att identifiera möjliga utfallspåverkande faktorer som möjliggör ett framgångsrikt implementerat utfall avseende social hänsyn i offentlig upphandling i en svensk kontext. Analysen och slutsatserna bygger på en jämförelse mellan två fall där utfallet utgör den gemensamma nämnaren. Underlaget till uppsatsen bygger primärt på intervjuer med tjänstemän och politiker i Sigtuna och i Örebro.De teoretiska analysverktygen som används i denna uppsats är hämtade från Rational choice- och Normativ institutionalism. Tre temafaktorer har använts för att kategorisera likheter och skillnader mellan fallen. Dessa är spelregler, preferenser och resurser.Resultatet visar på att fallen har fler möjliga utfallspåverkande faktorer gemensamma än de har utfallspåverkande faktorer som skiljer dem åt.En troligt viktig möjlig förklarande faktor ligger i att frågan om sociala krav har hanterats på ledningsnivå som en strategisk fråga, snarare än som en juridisk eller teknisk fråga.Fallen kan även förstås som att behovet av upphandling och behovet av sociala åtgärder har växt fram oberoende av varandra innan själva upphandlingsprocesserna och att det är genom aktörernas aktioner som upphandlingsfrågan och den sociala frågan har kombinerats.
