Is it possible that by planning in a more sustainable way when building a new area, we can improve our environment?Most environmental problems are created in cities and therefore they should hold the solution. Through a more ecological urban planning a better foundation for sustainable housing could be created.This report follows the process in coming up with a proposal for a master plan for an area in Odense, Denmark. By going through principles for sustainable urban planning made by different organizations and persons and from these extract main principles, a background is founded to continue the proposal from.Denmark works a lot on expanding their green areas, maintain the existing ones and recreate what?s being destroyed as cities expand.
Attityder gentemot doftsättning ? Studie av studenters attityd gentemot artificiella och naturliga dofter
Luktsinnet anses inte vara människans mest nyanserade sinne och används ofta för att upptäcka potentiella faror. Luktsinnet använd dock inte endast som en överlevnadsinstinkt utan den ger oss möjligheten att emotionellt värdera vår omgivning. Denna studie avser att undersöka skillnader i attityd som kan finnas gentemot olika dofter; artificiellt eller naturligt framtagna dofter. Studien avser även att undersöka attityder mot generell doftsättning. Ett experiment har legat i grund för studien där det förväntade utfallet var att naturligt framtagna dofter anses vara mer behagliga än artificiella och att miljöer får högre acceptans för doftsättning än vad doftsättning av produkter får.
Fritidspedagogers arbete med barn som har ett aggressivt beteende
Den ökade takten av förändringar i organisationens omgivning har lett fram till att beslutsfattare söker efter alternativa styrmedel som är mer anpassningsbara till den specifika verksamheten. I och med det här så är det realistiskt att tänka sig att beslutsfattare kommer att ställas inför val mellan olika styrmedel. Trots detta så har beslutsfattare enligt tidigare forskning en tendens att vara ovilliga till förändringar. Den här studien har undersökt vilken betydelse kognitiv dissonans har för beslutsfattare i samband med val mellan budget och balanserade styrkort som styrmedel, samt om det finns några skillnader mellan hur svårt det är att byta ut budget mot balanserat styrkort och vice versa. Problemformuleringen testades med hjälp av två hypoteser i form av ett experiment som utfördes av en grupp studenter på civilekonomprogrammet, som kan liknas med morgondagens beslutsfattare, där de fick göra ett val mellan budget och balanserat styrkort.
"Hon har SFI-uttal" : En perceptionsstudie om hur vuxna andraspråksinlärare uppfattar modersmålssvenska och andraspråkssvenska
SammanfattningAtt kunna identifiera och förstå olika varieteter av målspråket är en grundläggande förutsättning för att andraspråksinlärare av svenska ska kunna bli fullständig deltagare i dagens flerspråkiga svenska samhälle. Den här studien har till syfte att explorativt undersöka vuxna andraspråksinlärares tillägnande av kunskaper i språklig variation vad gäller modersmålssvenska och andraspråkssvenska, samt deras sociolingvistiska medvetenhet. Detta testas och analyseras genom olika moment i ett lyssnarexperiment, dvs. hur L2-lyssnare bedömer olika talare, hur de förklarar sin bedömning och hur de uppfattar sig själva jämfört med olika talare. En bakgrundsenkät används för att samla in information om språklig erfarenhet och koppla den till L2-lyssnarnas bedömningar.
Vardagskemi : att tillverka ett interaktivt läromedel
Under en kurs om människans fysiologi letade jag användbara hemsidor på Internet. Jag slogs då av att det fanns många bra hemsidor på engelska, men knappt några på svenska. Jag bestämde mig då för att göra en svensk sida som är användbar för skolbruk. Då datorer och Internet mest används för faktasökande i samband med eget arbete ville jag bygga upp något annorlunda. Meningen med detta arbete är att försöka bygga upp ett interaktivt läromedel med program som går att hitta gratis på Internet, samt att undersöka vilka problem som kan uppstå vid framställningen.
Kreativitet och offentlig självmedvetenhet : En experimentell sutdie om hur offentlig självmedvetenhet påverkar kreativitet
The current study aimed to test the public self-consciousness impact on creative performance. An experimental design was used in which 40 participants were randomly assigned to two groups, one of which was the experimental group and the other was the control group. A mirror was used in the experimental group to induce public self-consciousness among the participants while they performed creativity tests. A consequence test was used where the participant had to give suggestions for the given scenario "What would happen if everyone became blind?" which was then measured in the number of proposals (fluency).

The environment has become an important part in people´s lives, and in today´s society stakeholders demands have increased upon companies when it comes to sustainability reports. How these sustainability reports are designed depends on whom it?s for, laws and regulations, and the companies own norms and values. The purpose of sustainability reports is to measure, monitor and compare a company´s enviromental impact. It?s not only about integrating economics, but also enviromental and social standards together to get both financial and competitive advantages.Sustainable Value method is a new model and is the first real method that can be used to evaluate a company´s resources, both financial, social and enviromental to a sustainable value.This model is used to compare the resource efficiency between companies.In this thesis, a documentary study with an experimental approach has been made.Sustainability reports from six selected companies (in the engineering and forestry sector) have been investigated with respect to their accounting for carbon dioxide, and an experiment using the method ?Sustainable Value Approach? was subsequently performed.

Many perceive a boom in nostalgia and what is retro, especially within the marketing discipline. This thesis studies how nostalgia functions in the advertising context and aims to shed light on which effects there are from nostalgia evoking communication, what connections there are with other important factors as well as aspires to develop the understanding of the underlying psychological aspects and the emotional bonds to events (as nostalgia evoking stimuli in the thesis), which pave the ground for nostalgic emotions. Point of origin has been classical measures of communication effects and models of connections and causality and to these important factors have been added. Results show clear connections and correlations between nostalgia and positive communication effects, even with control for other factors that may interfere. However, the results show that some factors have moderating effects that should be important to take into consideration, namely how well the brand and the event in the ad are perceived to fit the advertising context.

Problem Faith in the power of advertising has varied largely through the ages, and since we know that advertising is paid for, it therefore has less weight than the usual news. Publicity through promotional activities is in turn difficult to control. The question which of these two ways to communicate with the market that is the most effective, is equally entitled to ask, as difficult to answer. Purpose/Aim This paper is designed as a pilot study with two different objectives that go hand in hand. The first overall aim is to investigate how advertising and PR / publicity can be measured with the same tools while designing this metric.

The aim of this examination project was to work with the processof making a pattern collection for fabrics. The collectionshould consist of at least three patterns with report measurementssuitable for screen print. I wanted the pattern collectionto be a simple, mystic and colourful collection with a folklorespirit like the popular rural life I experienced during my childhood.The purpose of the project was that I during the working processwould deepen my estethic background to enforce my personalgraphic expression ability and evolve as a pattern designer.I wanted to try to mix my personal view of domestic graphicexpression with another language that I gained in recent years.This I wanted to do in order to find the tools that could helpme clarify and develop my pattern signature.A few of the questions that I had about this project were if thelong scetching phase that I planned would help or damage theproject.I also thought it would be interesting to experiment with coloursin this project. I wanted to see how far I dared to go inmatter of colours as well as how the patterns would be visuallyexperienced if I for example reduced one colour or replaced itwith the opposite colour.I thought it was inspiring to work with traditional techniqueswith the colours. It was only positive that part of the patternstory telling was developed in an unpredicted direction duringthe scetching phase.

The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe adolescents? thoughts and experiences of online poker gambling, thus gaining a deeper knowledge and understanding of how gambling affects youths in their living conditions and in their identity development. This was done by studying the symbolism and meaning that gambling has in these youths every day live and in their identity development.
