Vi har byggt ett digitalt musikinstrument, en synthesizer med samplebaserad trummaskin. Synthesizern och trummaskinen är mjukvarubaserad medan gränssnittet är hårdvarubaserat. I detta kandidatarbete skapas en animation för att visualisera användarinstruktioner för en balpress. Förberedelser utförs i 3D-CADprogramvaran Geomagic Design 2014 innan arbetet med animeringen påbörjas i programmet SimLab Composer Animation. I förberedelserna rensas modellerna och modifieras. Modeller som saknas skapas. I detta förslag på visualisering av ett moment i användning av balpressen är i syfte att underlätta för brukaren hur den snabbt kan använda maskinen.

Academica är ett stadsbyggnadsförslag för området längs Valhallavägens östra del mellan Roslagstull och korsningen Valhallavägen/Odengatan. Bakom förslaget står Stockholmsbyggmästarna och Utopia Arkitekter. Platsen har identifierats av Stockholmsstad som ställer sig positiva till att utvecklaområdet. I samband med NorraLänkens färdigställande år 2015 förväntas trafikmängden minska och transport av farligt gods kommer inte längre att tillåtas på Valhallavägen. Detta kommer att göra det möjligt att utveckla området och inte minst att bebygga det med bostäder.

AbstractAt Saltvikens copperindustry, which is located in the municipality of Oskarshamn, copper was refined from sulphiteore some hundred years ago. The ore underwent several steps in the process before the final product was received. These steps all had an influence on the environment through discharge of heavy metals. The area where the copper industry was located is today considered to be of specific national interest due to its valuable nature and cultural values, as well as its value for recreational outdoor activities. Therefore, it is important to determine the present level of contamination and if any transport of contaminants have occurred, and to identify the risks that are associated with the site both at present and in a longer time perspective.Thirtynine soil samples and 16 sediment samples have been analyzed.

Ocean Modules Sweden AB is a small business active in the field of underwater technology. Thecompany was contacted by the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) in order todevelop a new system that would conform to their specific requirements. Two students at theRoyal Institute of Technology (KTH) were consulted in conjunction of this project in order to aidthe development and conceptual design of the system.The primary users of the system are the divers of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal division (EOD)- a branch of the Swedish Armed Forces. The purpose of the product was to incorporate allnecessary functions required by the EOD divers into one single system. The main functions arecommunication between the surface operator and diver, video recording, still imaging, positioning,navigation and ocean floor mapping with sonar.

Användaracceptans är en viktig del i alla systemutvecklingsprojekt och är också en väldigt lättpåverkad variabel för en lyckad implementering. Därför är det viktigt att ha översikt på sådana faktorer som kan påverka användaracceptansen negativt, en sådan faktor är försening. Denna uppsats belyser sammanhanget mellan hur en försening påverkar användaracceptansen. Genom att låta en undersökningsgrupp genomgå en enkät utformad efter Technology Acceptance Model har jag samlat upp en generaliserad åsikt. Resultaten visar att försening som variabel inte påverkar användaracceptansen för fallstudien..

The company System Andersson is developing systems for controlling materials and production in industries. They want to add a new service, where parts of those systems are accessible through cell phones.In this paper we are investigating which technology are best suited for this kind of application. And then we describe how we are developing a prototype fort this application, based upon that technology. After investigating technologies such as Java ME, Microsoft Silverlight, and web applications we settled upon building the system as a web application, customized for a mobile environment.To build a web page which is readable by many different cell phones we use the markup-languages which are developed for cell phones. We put much effort in reading about the standards and recommendations for the mobile web, produced by the organizations W3C and OMA.

Center of rotation and the axis of rotationof a joint are fundamental parameters in motion analysis. However,the ability to create individualized analysis is limited by the lack ofaccuracy when these parameters are calculated.

Syftet med min undersökning är att försöka introducera och att arbeta med olika inlärningsstilar, utvärdera om eleverna blivit uppmärksammade på vilket sätt de lär sig bäst, det vill säga vilken/vilka som är deras starkaste preferens/er. Undersökningen genomfördes med gymnasielever i årskurs tre inriktningar Transport, vårterminen 2011. Via en stilenkät utsågs tio försökspersoner av eleverna. De fick genomföra en lektion, som utformats utifrån inlärningsstilar. Slutligen blev eleverna intervjuade. Man kan inte bara syfta på en inlärningsstil.

Det här projektet omfattar utvecklingen och designen av en webbplats och en webbcommunity för organisationen Nätverket Vileda samt implementationen av ett content management system för att underhålla webbplatsen. Jag reflekterar också kring Nätverket Vileda och nätverket som ett socialt fenomen men även som en kommunikationskanal för organisationer och hur detta har förändrats och utvecklats genom de senaste hundra åren..

Furthermore the report evaluates the use of CFD-codes within this kind of problems. AbstractThis bachelor thesis has been assigned by the company ACG Nyström, Borås. ACG Nyström is working in cooperation with a Swiss company named Jentschmann AG. Jentschmann is a manufacturer of ultra sonic welding machines which ACG Nyström is marketing in Scandinavia and the Baltic States. On behalf of Jentschmann AG the company has the aim to introduce the ultra sonic welding technique to new companies.The aim of this thesis is to compare traditional sewing machines with ultra sonic welding machines within two textile areas, protective clothing and outdoor living.Two investigative questions have been formulated for this purpose: what are the differences between a sewing machine and an ultra sonic welding machine? Is it possible to replace the sewing technology with ultra sonic welding? These stand as guidance for this paper.To gather knowledge interviews, literature studies, and tests on two different ultra sonic welding machines were performed.
