Re-design av StretchFlex UF : Skapandet av en stärkande visuell profil åt StretchFlex UF
This paper presents the creation of a strengthening visual profile for StretchFlex UF. The project consists of an external as well as an internal part. The external part is on the order of the company StretchFlex. The company is created under the education concept by the name of Ung Företagsverksamhet (Young Entrepreneurship) and has passed on to the Swedish Championships in Young Entrepreneurship at the Stockholm International Fairs. Of that we have been commissioned to develop an updated logotype for the company, for the current does not keep proper quality according to the client.

For none of the companies profile and image did not have a full connection, but a lot of times there were parts of the profile and image that had a connection. The questioned states that they get their opinions from merchandise, stores, store employees and different kinds of advertising.
Är förpackningen viktigare än innehållet? : en studie av ett alkoholföretags kommunikativa Corporate Social Responsibility arbete och hur dess intressenter upplever det
Aim: The aim of this essay is to study the work of an alcohol company?s (Pernod Ricard) corporate social responsibility and how this work is being communicated to the company?s stakeholders. Furthermore I aim to describe the profile of the specific company, in other words how they wish their stakeholders to experience the company. I will then compare this profile with the image of how the interviewed stakeholders actually perceive the corporate social responsibility activities. Are there any differences?Material/Method: Together with literature and document studies, a qualitative method has been used and four focus group interviews with a total of 16 stakeholders have been conducted.Main results: The main results from the focus group interviews showed that the stakeholders appreciated corporate social responsibility work that focuses on the protection of young people.

A comparative study of how two preschools work with environmental issues.My investigations are based on qualitative interviews and observations carried out at two preschools, one of which has a nature and environment profile while the other works in traditional ways with these questions. I sought to explore the ways in which pedagogues in each preschool raise environmental awareness and, more generally, awaken an interest in nature in the children. The consequences of methodological similarities and differences will be considered.This term paper concludes that the difference between an environmental profile preschool and a traditional preschool working on environmental awareness is not large. The knowledge gained by children in the latter preschool surpassed that gained in the former.

During the early 1990´s, the Swedish commercial air traffic was de-regulated and the new market-condition made it possible for low-budget airlines to enter the Swedish market. The former monopolistic airline company, Scandinavian Airline Systems (SAS), was facing a new type of competition which had the advantage of offering much cheaper air trips than SAS. Adding the decrease of profitability that struck SAS as well as other airline companies after the terrorist attacks on the 11th of September, forced them to carry out a mayor reorganization programme. The programme, called ?Turn Around 2005?, was a direct economical measure that begun in 2002 and lasted until 2005 and resulted in a cost saving of 14,5 billion SEK as well as a notice or a transfer of 6000 employees.The purpose of this essay is to investigate if the opinion of the consumer, the image, corresponds with the profile that SAS wishes to mediate today.

Visioner om framtidens profilboenden : Hur äldre personer vill bo när det bli ännu äldre
As the population of senior citizens increase, various housing options are required for an increasing competitive environment within elderly care. This study addresses the concept of profile housing for the elderly by outlining its definition and providing options for the different kinds of housing options available within the municipalities of Stockholm and Solna. The study reveals that these locations have different definitions of what constitutes a profile home. Based on this, should one assume there are further definitions to cover additional municipalities? This study also touches upon how a group of senior citizens would perceive their living conditions if relocated into such housing. Members of the group have also expressed that they would like to go about their daily activities as they have prior to being relocated. They want health professionals to enable and encourage participation in various daily activities..
Ordfront Ett förlags utveckling
The aim of this thesis has been to study the development of Ordfront förlag from their foundation in 1969 until today, concerning their publishing profile and their size. Ordfront started out as a small publishing house and is today one of the few middle sized publishing houses in Sweden. Their books focus on questions concerning society, debate and politics. The question posed in this thesis was: What has influenced Ordfront förlag concerning size and publishing profile? In order to answer our question we have used a system analytic method, in which we examined some external and internal elements.
Tillämpning av DMAIC-metodiken i tjänsteföretag: en fallstudie genomförd på EuroMaint Rail AB
Ett sätt att reducera kvalitetsbristkostnader i ett företag är att genomföra förbättringsarbeten med metodiken DMAIC, oftast använd inom Six Sigma-projekt. Mängden litteratur om DMAIC i tjänsteföretag är mer begränsad än liknande litteratur för tillverkande företag och den litteratur som finns saknas en djupare beskrivning av de olika faser som DMAIC består av. Syftet med examensarbetet är att åskådliggöra hur DMAIC- metodiken kan anpassas för att lösa återkommande problem i en process tillhörande tjänsteföretag. Detta görs genom att utgå från författare med stor erfarenhet inom kvalitetsområdet, Magnusson, Kroslid och Bergman samt Juran och undersöka hur deras definitioner av DMAIC kan anpassas och användas i ett tjänsteföretag. Som strategi valdes att göra en fallstudie på EuroMaint Rail AB, ett tjänsteföretag som utför tågunderhåll för ett flertal svenska tågoperatörer.
Motorik hos barn som går montessoriskola : En pilotstudie av elever på en montessoriskola i jämförelse med Skola, Idrott och Hälsa-projektet
AimThe aim of this essay is by using a motor skill track to see if there exists any remarkable difference in the motor skill profiles between pupils from our montessori school and the mean score in the "Nytidstest". The questions at issue we had were: How is the motor skill profile on pupils in year 2 and 3 practicing montessori pedagogy? Is the motor skill profile superior or inferior to the mean score in the "Nytidstest"? What factors, if any, concerning the montessori pedagogy affects the results of the test?MethodWe used a motor skill track consisting of 8 stations sellected from the "Nytidstest" adapted for year 3 (the original test consists of 16 stations). Pupils from year 2 and 3 in our chosen montessori school were tested in groups of 4-5 persons each. We made the tests on two occasions each lasting for 100 minutes at the time.
True Passion : En studie om varumärket Kosta Bodas profil och image
The purpose of this essay is to increase the understanding of how the management´s core values reflect the brand´s profile and image. To be able to fulfill that purpose, we used three problem statements that questioned how consumers, retailers and the employees of the company Kosta Boda perceived the brand. To accomplish this, we used a qualitative method. We started collecting theories about the topics: brand, image and profile that gave us a good foundation to build our qualitative interviews on and to increase the understanding for the topics. To collect imperical data, we interviewed consumers, retailers and employees at Kosta Boda both by email, phone and face-to-face interviews.
Mätning av rälsprofil med STRIX
STRIX är Banverkets mest moderna mätvagn. Med denna utförs bland annat mätningar av rälsprofilen med ett optiskt system som är monterat under vagnen. I detta examensarbete jämförs mätningar från STRIX och mätningar från det handhållna systemet MiniProf. Målet med jämförelsen är att visa om nya metoder som har utvecklats under examensarbetet leder till förbättringar av mätningar utförda med STRIX. En tänkbar förbättring av de mätningar som utförs med STRIX är att byta den referenspunkt som används vid matchning mot en referensprofil.
Dubbla uppdrag : En kvalitativ studie av två profilerade och integrerade folk- och skolbibliotek
The aim of this master?s thesis is to examine libraries which combine the functions of school- and public library and to evaluate the staff?s experience and attitude towards a library profile with the emphasis on children and youth. The purpose of the study is also to examine how the libraries work with several tasks and functions within different target groups with different needs.With new institutionalism and Scandinavian institutional theory the thesis examine the library as an organization and what influences the construction. With a model that describes how the library constitutes four different rooms in the society I investigate the different functions.The methodology is qualitative with interviews of five persons of the staff, four librarians and one library assistant. The study examines how the staff that works at two libraries under similar conditions experiences their tasks.
Profilering av Södertörns Högskola : Studenternas inställning till lärosätets marknadskommunikation
Either if you are a company or a state owned organization, in our case Sodertorn University collage, it is very highly demanded and needed that there is a well-defined definition of the area you perform in. It is also highly recommended that you have an accurate and informal profile of the type of company you are and that you have an effective communication to your surroundings, so that they can perceive it the way the company wishes mediate the message. In this essay we have tried to explain the kind of profile Sodertorn University collage has, and how its current students perceive this profiling strategy.Sodertorn University collage profiles itself through three significant areas: the school claim themselves to be multicultural, multiscientific in an aspect when it comes to courses and programs, and as a school with an ambition to educate and form more critical thinking students. This has become Sodertorn University collages trademark and is quite significant for the school, something that we have examined in our survey among the current students. What we will examine in our essay will only be the two first mentioned components, multicultural and multiscientific programs and courses.We have also had the intention to do a comparison with an earlier essay from 1997 made by two economics students, and put our results in contrast to the earlier results since there were no previous research after this one.
