Följ Instagrams ideal - bli snygg, muskulös och smal! : En studie om ungas syn pÄ kroppsideal och identitet med Instagram i fokus.

SYFTE & FRÅGESTÄLLNINGAR Genom vĂ„r studie vill vi beskriva den inverkan Instagram har pĂ„ tjejer och killar i Ă„rskurs tre pĂ„ gymnasiet vad gĂ€ller kroppsideal avseende sjĂ€lvidentitet, kultur och makt.Hur pĂ„verkar medier ungas uppfattning omkroppsideal? Vilken roll har Instagram vad gĂ€ller ungdomars syn pĂ„ kroppsideal och identitetsskapande?METOD &MATERIAL Kvalitativ metod med tvĂ„ fokusgruppsdiskussioner som totalt innefattar tolv personer, sex tjejer och sex killar. Resultatet frĂ„n vĂ„ra fokusgrupper har analyserats med hjĂ€lp av kvalitativ innehĂ„llsanalys.RESULTAT Vi har i vĂ„r studie sett tydliga samband mellan media, identitet och bekrĂ€ftelse pĂ„ sĂ„ sĂ€tt att media pĂ„verkar ungas uppfattning om kroppsideal, deras identitet och bekrĂ€ftelsebehov. .

Sociala relationer i ett socialt media : - En kvantitativ studie över 151 gymnasieelever i Kalmar och deras Facebook-anvÀndande

The aim with this study was to find out how young people at age 16-19 years in Kalmar, Sweden use and interact through Facebook. The questions in our questionnaire were based on three themes, these are; friendship relations on Facebook, what influence Facebook has on young people and how they choose to present themselves on Facebook. The theory that was applied on this study is of social-psychological kind. We chose the theory because we figured it would be suitable to further explain and dispute the aim of the study. The result shows that many different variables can matter in a study like this. We chose to look at a few, such as for example sex and age and we found out that there is a great difference between the way girls and boys use Facebook and how they choose to present themselves in this social media. Another conclusion that our study led to is that Facebook is an important tool for young people, in the meaning that they use it since it makes it easier to communicate with their friends and it also strengthens their relationships with their friends. Keywords: Facebook, Young people, Friendship, Facebook and Social Relations, Facebook use among adolescents & Facebooks? impact on adolescents..

Ett kontroversiellt partis intÄg i riksdagen : En undersökning av Expressens framstÀllning av Sverigedemokraterna

A controversial party?s entry into parliament - a review of Expressen?s depiction of the Sweden Democrats (Sverigedemokraterna)The purpose of this essay was to study how Expressen presents the Sweden Democrats, as well as reasoning about the effects this depiction could have on the citizens? opinion. Using a quantitative method I studied 122 articles, and through a qualitative method four of these could be further analyzed to reach a deeper result. The theoretical perspective that was applied in this study was primary agenda-setting and framing theory, to illuminate the power of media. The result showed that a prominent theme was to present Sweden Democrats as racists.

Media advertising in Europe - The issue of standardisation from both the business and legal perspective

It is clear that media advertising is one of the crucial marketing tools for companies in order to promote their products and services. As we are moving towards more and more economic integration, both on a regional and global scale, the question about standardisation of media advertising has become increasingly important and is nowadays subject to discussion in most international companies. This thesis deals with the issue of standardisation in a region where the process of political, legal and especially economic integration is taking its course, but where cultural and linguistic diversity is still a remaining fact: Europe. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the potential gains from a standardised advertising approach but also to identify its limitations. Especially on a market place like Europe, with its diverse cultural and linguistic background, a fully standardised approach might be difficult to implement.

En klandervÀrd pressetik: Om pressens sjÀlvsanering och utveckling av klander

Studiens syfte Àr att undersöka huruvida svensk press behöver tydligare riktlinjer för hur klander frÄn Pressens opinionsnÀmnd, PON, ska publiceras, bÄde i papperstidningar och pÄ nÀtet. Syftet innefattar ocksÄ att försöka definiera den mest lÀmpade utformningen för lÀttillgÀngliga och etiskt korrekta publiceringar av nÀmndens uttalanden. Kvalitativa professionsintervjuer med utgivare, medieforskare samt AllmÀnhetens pressombudsman, PO, analyseras utifrÄn teorier om pressetisk sjÀlvsanering och begreppet media accountability. Resultatet visar att PON:s uttalanden Àr alldeles för lÄnga och otympligt utformade för att tydliga publiceringar ska vara möjliga. NÀmndens riktlinjer Àr förlegade och saknar förankring i det rÄdande medieklimatet.

"Vi beklagar att politisk censur förekommer i Sverige" : en retorisk analys av Sverigedemokraternas strategier vid lanseringen av deras valfilm 2010

I valupptakten hösten 2010 fick Sverigedemokraternas tvÄ valfilmer oerhört genomslag i media, och hade inte mindre Àn en halv miljon visningar pÄ Youtube, pÄ bara nÄgra fÄ dagar. Denna hÀr uppsatsen undersöker vilka strategier som ligger bakom ett sÄdant genomslag i media. FrÄgestÀllningen försöker besvara vilka verklighetsbeskrivningar som TV4 respektive Sverigedemokraterna (SD) ger i sitt pressmaterial angÄende lanseringen av SD:s tvÄ valfilmer, och vad de fÄr för effekter.Uppsatsen analyserar nyckelord som anvÀnds, vilken ram de sÀtter pÄ situationen och om SD anvÀnder sig av anti-etablissemangsstrategin. Den diskuterar ocksÄ omkring problemformuleringsprivilegiet, det vill sÀga att den som formulerar frÄgestÀllningen alltid Àger tolkningsföretrÀdet till den.Uppsatsens slutsats Àr att SD:s strategi vid lanseringen av valfilmen var att synliggöra och förstÀrka avstÄndet mellan SD och etablissemanget, sÄvÀl till politiska partier som till media. SD anvÀnde sig av de egna problemformuleringarna massinvandring och censur, som i sin tur skapade egna ramar, till vilka enbart SD hade tolkningsföretrÀde.

The purpose of this essay is to understand and analyze why people read a local newspaper and which needs it can fulfill. The newspaper indistry is changing and so is the way we consume news. Today the readers are seen as an active group of people who choose the media, which fulfills their needs in the best possible way. This essay is based on a case study of the local newspaper Barometern. We used a qualitative research method and have done eight interviews.

"ADHD vanligt bland unga brottslingar" : En kritisk diskursanalys av hur Aftonbladet och Dagens Nyheter framstÀller ADHD

ADHD is the fastest growing diagnosis of the last decade and there is an ongoing debate about how ADHD should be understood with a psychosocial perspective opposed to a medical perspective. The purpose of this study was to investigate how a Swedish daily and evening newspaper (Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter) portrays ADHD. Further, the study asked whether medical or social explanation is used in the discourse that appears in newspaper articles, how ADHD is described as well as which people are quoted in the articles. In this study we used Norman FaircloughÂŽs critical discourse analysis with the 26 sampled articles which we believe highlight different perspectives on ADHD diagnosis.Our study shows that there are representatives cited in the articles from school, the judiciary and the medical field. However representatives from social work are conspicuous by their absence.

Before the general election 2006 all of the Swedish parties represented in the Parliament held their political party conference. At each political party conference, the leader for respectively party held their opening speech, a speech that was covered by the press. This essay deals with how the press covers these speeches. Analysing how the different speeches were covered by the press, some tendencies regarding how the press report could be visualised. In this comparison the ?quantitative content analysis? was used.

Vidare tar de stora vÀrldsledarna stora mÄtt och steg i syfte att sÀkerstÀlla att hemmaopinionen Àr positivt instÀlld till deras gÀrningar. NÀr Saddam Hussein planerade att anfalla Kuwait och i dennes bedömning av omvÀrldens reaktion, lÀgger han stor vikt vid hur eventuella intervenerande nationers hemmaopinion skulle inverka pÄ deras deltagande.

GÀrningskvinnan : en textanalys av mediers framstÀllning av den kvinnliga brottslingen.

My work is based on a text analysis of media production of the female offender. I found it interesting how women were presented as victims rather than perpetrators. The media have in recent years grown tremendously and this also impacts on people and what is important. The notion of how a woman should be and how a female offender should be is extreme. The material for my work is articles found on the Internet in daily newspapers websites.

Nedskrivning av goodwill

The purpose of this study has been to examine how customers, by interacting with each other, can communicate and create the image of a brand. We find this topic to be relevant since there are no previous studies conducted concerning the customers influence on the brand image. Our ambition has been to describe in what ways and to what extent the customer can affect and influence the brand image by communicating with other customers. To fulfill our purposed we have targeted three important questions which are:? In which ways can the customer affect the communicated image of a brand?? To what extent can the customer influence the brand image and the perceived value?? Who has control over the brand, the customer or the company?For this study we have used a qualitative approach in which we have conducted eight personal interviews with brand consultants and the editor of the magazine Dagens Media which has given us the foundation for our analysis.

Sexual harassment is something that has existed for several decades, and are something that still occurs today in many places around our society. In the fall of 2017, a movement called the Metoo-movement, started and spread across the whole world, which made an impact on many countries ? particularly Sweden. Serval women from different occupational groups started to share their stories to the media, about sexual harassment that they gone thru, in order to show that the perpetuators are just ordinary men in their industry, which is something that media previous misconception provided about. The first stories that reached the Swedish residents were from the Swedish film- and theater industry, and were also one of the most known and visible first call-out groups. They shared 703 different stories about sexual harassment to one of Sweden's leading newspapers, Svenska Dagbladet, in november of 2017.
