I uppsatsen undersöker jag ur ett queerteoretiskt perspektiv, och med diskursanalys och dekonstruktion som metoder, heteronormativitet i skönlitterära bilderböcker. Analysen stödjer sig dels på Michel Foucaults samt Ernesto Laclaus och Chantal Mouffes diskursteorier, dels på Judith Butlers beskrivningar av samhällets heterosexuella matris och identitet som en performativ processuell konstruktion. Jag undersöker om och på vilka sätt heterosexualitet framställs som given sexuell identitet i de mest lånade bilderböckerna på Stockholms stadsbibliotek de senaste åren och i ett urval böcker som skildrar hur familjer får barn. Det innefattar granskning av såväl vilka relationer som representeras i böckerna som vilka subjektspositioner som böckerna erbjuder läsaren. Har läsaren möjlighet att identifiera sig med litterära figurer utan att först ta ställning till kön, undrar jag.

Föreliggande uppsats är en genusinriktad och diskursanalytisk studie som undersöker det nya läromedlet Perspektiv på historien 1b, (2011), som utkommit i samband med de nya kursplanerna i historia och läromedlet är specifikt gjord för kursen historia 1b. I studien analyseras om nämnda läromedel har ett genusperspektiv och om den nya kursplanen förespråkar ett sådant. Diskursanalysen som används utgår från Winther Jørgensen och Philips, diskursteori i Diskursana-lys som teori och metod, (2000). Jag har också kombinerat denna diskursteori beträffande metod med en så kallad genustrappa, som utgår från den Edwertz och Lundström själva komponerat i deras studie, Jämställdhets- och genusperspektiv i kurslitteraturen, (2003). AbstractDrinking water is an important resource on Earth both for humans and animals. Although most of the surface is covered by water only a small quantity is available as drinking water. Our manner of living creates a lot of pollution which has an environmental impact. Groundwater has a protracted turnover time in the soil and it can take many years before the effects of human impact are detected. The Swedish environmental object is ?Good groundwater quality? which aims to provide a safe and sustainable supply of drinking water today and in the future.

Handling of animals during anaesthesia is an important field in the profession as a veterinary nurse and in which intubation is an essential part. Hence, adequate knowledge is necessary for the welfare of the animal. The objective of this literature study was to make it useful and trustworthy for veterinary nurses. It is intended to describe and summarize existing scientificity with its benefits and disadvantages within the different areas of intubation techniques and alternative methods of inhalation anaesthetic supplementation for general anaesthesia in rabbits. Endotracheal intubation in rabbits can be complicated and technically demanding due to the anatomy of the oropharynx including the narrowness of this structure, a relatively large tongue, large incisors and a limited mobility of the temperomandibular joint. The obstructed visualization of larynx and the rabbit?s tendency to develop laryngospasm contributes to the difficulty of intubation. Rabbits are susceptible to tracheal injury and multiple intubation attempts can cause tracheal lesions due to repeated damage to the tracheal mucous membrane, although damage can occur after a single intubation attempt as well. An ETT (endotracheal tube) with or without a cuff can be used during orotracheal intubation in rabbits.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the constructions of sexuality, which are produced when judgments concerning asylum are made, based on an asylum seeker?s sexual orientation. The question formulations are the following: Which constructions of sexuality are produced when necessary condition, fear of persecution due to sexual orientation, is applied in judgments regarding refugee status? Furthermore, how constructions of sexuality differ in the judgments where the asylum seeker has been consented and rejected is investigated. The empirical material consists of 13 judgments, which were announced between the years 2009-2013 by the Migration court.

This is a study of the novel Mes mauvaises pensées (2005) by the French writer Nina Bouraoui. I use an intertextual comparative method, where I read the novel against three intertexts: Marie Cardinal Les mots pour le dire (1975), the David Lynch movie Mulholland Drive (2001) and novels and photographies by Hervé Guibert. Main focus is on the relation between body and language. Using the psychoanalytic theories by Julia Kristeva I examine the melancholy of the narrator in Mes mauvaises pensées. The melancholic subject mourns a Thing which is the unrepresentable archaic mother.

Ethanol for automotive purposes is an issue much debated and researchers disagree about the benefits of bioethanol. Converting energy-rich crops into ethanol suitable as motor fuel is a complex process and continuous development and improvements of processes and material used are important steps in the work of developing environmental friendly fuels. Grain is usually preserved by drying which consumes a lot of energy. Alternative storage of high-moisture grain in airtight storage systems reduce the energy required to produce bioethanol and studies have also shown that ethanol yields are increased more than 10% in ethanol fermentations of moist grain compared to dry. Airtight storage is often not perfectly airtight so biocontrol agents are necessary in order to preserve the grain.

A district heating plant has the advantage that it can take advantage of the waste heat from industries and use of cheap fuels to produce heat. But for the long term is competitive requires that energy is also saved in district heating plants. One way to save energy in a district heating system is to increasing cooling to the return temperature. This leads to less power needed to drive the distribution pumps,  and that more energy could be extracted from the same amount of fuel by an improved flue gas condensation.In Karlskoga the return temperature into the district heating plant is high. They would therefore reduce the return temperature in order to extract more energy from the flue gases.

Vår studie behandlar fenomenet föräldraråd i förskolan. Vi har i denna undersökning fokuserat på pedagogers och föräldrars upplevelser av föräldraråd som samverkansform i förskolan. Undersökningen syftar också till att undersöka om dessa upplevelser skiljer sig åt och i sådana fall på vilket sätt. Vi har antagit en fenomenologisk utgångspunkt där man fokuserar andra människors upplevelser av deras omvärld och använt oss av kvalitativa intervjuer för att undersöka vad upplevelserna av föräldraråd är. Vi har i denna undersökning valt att intervjua tre pedagoger och tre föräldrar på en förskola.

Den här kandidatuppsatsen handlar om vilka skillnader som finns i medierapporteringen om fotbollsmatcher i Sveriges högsta division för män respektive kvinnor, Allsvenskan och Damallsvenskan, och hur den maskulinitetsnorm som omgärdar idrotten tar sig uttryck i Sveriges två största kvällstidningars referat om matcherna.De frågeställningar som besvaras i denna uppsats är:Vad finns det för skillnader mellan matchreferaten av herr- respektive damallsvenskan i Sveriges två största kvällstidningar under säsongen 2011 när det gäller placering, utrymme, reporterroll och val av bild, rubrik och bildtext?Hur manifesterades maskulinitetsnormen i artiklarna om damernas respektive herrarnas matcher?Undersökningen är av kvalitativ karaktär, då syftet är att belägga och förstå den maskulinitetsnorm som omgärdar svensk fotboll och kvällstidningarnas rapportering om den. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att det finns stora skillnader mellan rapporteringen om Allsvenskan och Damallsvenskan ? bland annat att liknande företeelser bedöms olika, och att olika företeelser framhävs, beroende på om de förekommer i ett referat av en herr- eller en dammatch.För att förstå och tolka undersökningens resultat, och delvis också för att utforma undersökningen, används framförallt de teorier som Nathalie Koivula presenterar i doktorsavhandlingen Gender in sport. Även Håkan Larssons teorier om Queer idrott och Kim Elvin-Nowak och Helené Thomssons teorier ur Att göra kön har en essentiell roll i denna uppsats.

Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att undersöka om normkritisk pedagogik kan vara en väg mot en skola för alla och i så fall, på vilket sätt? Teori: Den kritiska teorin har valts som övergripande ansats, där tolkningen bör få människor att tänka till och tänka om, men även teorier om sociala representationer, intersektionalitet och queer har använts. Sociala representationer är gemensamma föreställningar om världen som skapas genom kommunikation och interaktion. Intersektionalitet innebär att ha ett helhetsperspektiv på olika maktordningar och strukturer, t ex kön och etnicitet, som individer är utsatta för och queerteori handlar om att ifrågasätta kategorier och normer, framförallt heteronormen. De begrepp som används är normer, normkritisk pedagogik och en skola för alla.

Solid waste management is one of the most essential functions in a country to achieve asustainable development. In India, it has been one of the least prioritized functions during thelast decades. The most common ways to treat waste in India today are open dumping anduncontrolled burning. These methods are causing severe environmental pollution and healthproblems. India is one of the world?s largest emitter of methane gas from waste disposal.Since methane is a strong greenhouse gas, even small emissions have large impact on theclimate.

Each year, the coffee machines at Ericsson in Kista produce around 100 tons of ground coffee waste.The companies Coor Service Management, Löfbergs Lila and Selecta are all responsible for differentstages in the logistical chain in delivering coffee and, together with Ericsson, they want to increasetheir environmental benefit. The plan is to produce biogas through anaerobic digestion instead ofincinerating the coffee waste in a heating plant. The results are to be presented as different businesscases in which different biogas plants are compared with the reference case (heating plant),comparing costs and environmental impacts.There are two major environmental benefits from producing biogas; reduced carbon dioxideemissions from when fossile fule is replaced by carbon neutral biogas, and reduced emissions fromreturning digestate from the bio reactor to farmland instead of using industrial fertelizer.In order to determine the biogas potential in coffee waste, a couple of properties had to bedetermined in a laboratory. Properties such as the dry substance content, heating value, moisturecontent and ash content. The results show that 100 tons coffee waste could produce around 16 500Nm3 biogas which would contain 163 MWh.The biogas reactor and upgrade plant both need energy gas to function and uses around 14 MWh ofthe produced gas.

The building sector accounted for around a fourth of the total energy usage in Sweden in year 2010 (Energimyndigheten, 2012). Therefore it has become very interesting to achieve a lower energy usage in residential buildings. One way to achieve that is to build so called passive houses. By being very well insulated and have low leakage through the walls, they can reduce the energy usage for heating with a substantial amount. The first passive house was built during the 90?s in Germany; and in Sweden the first passive house was built in Gothenburg 2001.
