Arbetstillfredsställelse : En jämförelse mellan kvinnliga och manliga industriarbetare på två avdelningar

The purpose of the present quantitative study was to examine gender differences inperceived job satisfaction in two departments, with different work patterns, in a Swedishmanufacturing industry. The questionnaire contained 30 statements and five backgroundquestions. The questionnaire was designed in combination of Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS),Work demands, Social support, Control and Competence (ASK), Questionnaire forPsychological and Social factors at Work (QPS Nordic) and Minnesota SatisfactionQuestionnaire (MSQ). Job satisfaction was measured based on the categories influence atwork, leadership, employee influence, work requirements and the physical environment. Theresults of the present study showed an interaction of gender and department where the femaleindustrial workers, who worked with more monotonous and standardized work tasks, valuedall of the categories of job satisfaction the lowest, except for the category employee impact.The results are believed to depend on that the women in the department had greater demandsfor variety in the work..



Undervisningsbehov vid ischemisk hjärtsjukdom - en litteraturstudie om patientens uppfattning

The aim of this study was to determine the self-perceived learning needs in patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD). CHD is the leading cause of death worldwide. Poor compliance is one of the causes of rehospitalisation. Patients suffering from CHD need education in order to manage their disease and prevent readmission to hospital. As hospital stays diminish the time available for patient education is limited.

Samverkan 4 U : En studie om samverkan med organisationen Here 4 U

The present study sought to examine the collaborative role of the student organization Here 4 U and the impact of this collaboration on the organization and its partners. As a point of departure a questionnaire was distributed to supervisors, principals and other cooperation partners of Here 4 U, the most prominent quantitative results of which were related to previous research, new institutional theory and empowerment theory. It turned out that partners interacting with Here 4 U felt that the collaboration was necessary and wanted to continue with it. The respondents to the questionnaire were asked to define the concept of collaboration. Factors emphasized by respondents included feeling of community, security, and common goals.

Insatsen kontaktfamilj : en studie av barn i kontaktfamilj via intervjuer av barn, socialsekreterare och genomgång av akter

Syftet med denna studie har varit att undersöka hur några barn upplever insatsen kontaktfamilj, hur några socialsekreterare anser att biståndet kontaktfamilj ter sig ur barnens perspektiv samt via intervjuerna av socialsekreterarna och aktstudier undersöka hur barnens perspektiv tas tillvara i handläggningen kring kontaktfamiljsärenden.Studiens frågeställningar fokuserar på hur det är för barn att vara i en kontaktfamilj. Ytterligare frågeställningar är hur barnens perspektiv tas tillvara i möten och handläggning i beslut gällande kontaktfamilj.Jag har använt mig av en kvalitativ metod, där jag intervjuat tolv barn, nio socialsekreterare i barn- och familjegrupp och gått igenom 25 akter. De teoretiska utgångspunkterna är det utvecklingsekologiska perspektivet, salutogena teorier, teorier om samtal med barn och familjemönster.Resultaten visar att barnen till stor del är positiva till insatsen kontaktfamilj och att de genom kontaktfamiljerna får möta positiva och välfungerande vuxenförebilder och att socialsekreterarna tror att det är positivt för barnen att vara i en kontaktfamilj. I intervjuerna med barnen framskymtar förståelse inför föräldrarnas situation och barnens svårigheter att påverka sin vistelse i kontaktfamiljen. I intervjuerna och akterna framkommer att barnens perspektiv inte alltid blir synligt.

En socialpsykologisk studie om organisationsvisionens betydelse för sociala relationer i arbetsvardagen

In this study, we have considered the impact the organization`s implementation of its vision of the psychosocial work enviroment has been for the relations between the employees. We have primarily relied on a hermeneutic approach to understand our empirical data, and when we have interpreted and made a socialpsycological analysis on our collected empirical data. We have used Smith´s Institutional Ethnography, Sheff`s Social bonds and Asplund`s theory of Social responsivity. To collect the empirical data we have combined quantitative and qualtitative methods and a textanalysis at a visiondocument in the aim of capture both the depht and the breadth of our chosen fields of study. The results we have found shows that the psycosocial work environment within the organization can be seen as interplay between individual and enviroment and between individuals as well and that this interaction is influenced by the organizational culture that is created by the organization`s political vision.

"En skola för alla" : Ett långsiktigt arbete med fokus på inkludering

De särskilda undervisningsgrupperna ifrågasätts allt mer. Tanken med dessa grupper var att ge stöd till de elever som behövde det, men istället så har fler av de elever som kommit till en särskild undervisningsgrupp från sina ordinarie klasser blivit kvar tills de gått ut grundskolan. Jag valde att studera en medelstor kommun i Sverige som arbetar med avveckling av särskilda undervisningsgrupper. Syftet var att belysa och tolka vilka de bakomliggande faktorerna var för avveckling av särskilda undervisningsgrupper. Jag ville även ta reda på hur pedagogerna från de särskilda undervisningsgrupperna såg på denna integrering.

Mundekulla : En studie om det personliga företagets konferensverksamhet

The purpose of this essay is to review Mundekulla, which is a small, relatively newly established Swedish company operating in the field of conferences. Today they are serving ecological and environmental friendly food to their customers and we choose to investigate if this is a successful concept by asking the customer?s opinions. Our task is to analyze and understand how this company can develop a stronger concept regarding their conference area. This essay will also focus on trends and how the ever changing world can affect Mundekulla in the future.

Närståendes behov av stöd vid palliativ vård

Background: Relatives are those persons who are closest to the patient, regardless of relationship and included into the patient´s life world. When a person is in a palliative stage this affects not only the patient but also the relatives, as it implies such a big change in life for all. The nurse has an important role for both the patient and the relatives. Aim: The aim is to highlight the relative´s needs of support for palliative care. Method: A literature review based on previous research. Ten articles were found, nine with a qualitative approach and one with both qualitative and quantitative approach. Results: The analysis resulted in six themes, these were the result of the study. The six themes were, ?to be seen an confirmed?, ?good communication?, ?continuous information?, ?availability and continuity?, ?to participate? and ?to share responsibility with the staff?. Conclusion: As a nurse we come in contact with relatives of patients in a palliative setting in any form.

Capella and Jamiesons research of how the media describes politics has shown that it is very often case of one of two scenarios: game frames; or issue frames. The central idea of this framing theory is that when politicians are described within game frames the disdain towards politicians is believed to increase. Capella and Jamieson have shown that, at least in the US, the use of game framing has increased. The Swedish Scholar Jesper Strömbäck has however, with his research, shown that, despite the earlier theory of Capella and Jamieson, in Sweden the tendency is not so clearly demarcated. In fact he says that if anything, the tendency looks to be the antithesis.

URLen som förbindelselänk: en utvärdering av URLers pålitlighet som åtkomstmetod mellan webbresurs och bibliografisk post i LIBRIS och NetSök

The aim of this masters thesis is to study the reliability of the URL as the link between a bibliographic record and a web resource. The Swedish catalogue services LIBRIS and NetSök have been evaluated on three different occasions, to study how these services have succeeded in giving access to web resources by using URLs. Because URLs are changeable, we have tried to find out common characteristics of the URLs in broken links. To accomplish this study we have used a quantitative approach and evaluated five percent of the web resources in the catalogues using a random selection. We have also used documentation relevant for our study, among other things to illustrate previous studies of the nature of web resources and alternative solutions to URLs as access points to web resources.

Portfolio i perspektiv

Sammanfattning Med denna forskning har jag från olika perspektiv belyst portfolio som verktyg till aktivt lärande. Jag har också försökt förstå hur elever och pedagoger upplever varandras utveckling med portfolio som arbetssätt. Intressant har också varit vilka tankar och drivkrafter ligger bakom valet av portfoliometodiken. Genom frågor till skolledare och enkäter med elever och pedagoger i en portfolioskola har jag velat, med ett täckande perspektiv, bidra till tidigare forskningar. Jag använde mig av intervjufrågor till skolledare och enkäter av kvantitativ och kvalitativ karaktär för pedagoger och elever.

Djur som sociala katalysatorer : En studie om hur djur kan påverka socialisationen i behandlingsarbete

The aim of this study was to investigate whether there is a social-psychological relevance in allowing animals to be involved in therapy work. I have examined if the animals may contribute to effects on human relationships between caregivers and patients, and if the animals can contribute to helping patients to achieve better well-being. Through previous research and a quantitative interview I have received answers to the following questions: How are animals used in the treatment work? How do animals affect the relationship between caregiver-patient? In what ways do animals in treatment affect relationships between people? How do the professionals who work with animals believe that animals can affects the patient? I have interviewed people working in different kinds of treatment work using animals. The areas examined include work with animals at youth care, police, disability care, elderly care and school.
